I can't believe it's been 4 years and I have never written a review. To be honest I don't find yelp reviews very useful or credible, there is always more to the story than most are willing to tell. That being said I know some rely on these and after reading some horribly misleading comments, namely from LJ, it disgusts me. My child has been going to Pure Pediatrics for 4 years, since she was 6 months old. We didn't go in with the oh my kid can't walk up stairs or isn't talking but is neuro typical common situations. We went with our floppy baby that was showing signs of missing milestones to come, would not tolerate tummy time and would fatigue holding her head up. We had no clue where to go, silent reflux was suspected, so they referred us to GI, a fabulous GI at that, she referred us to Neuro and Neuro to Metabolics. Long story short our child was diagnosed with a rare Mitochondrial Disease. Even our pediatrician who I love said let's wait till she is 8 months and our outside Neurologist (cash only type) said benign infantile hypotonia and never suggested pursuing the why. But our AMAZING therapists were the calm and rational type that steered us in the right direction. I am sure most of you are reading this saying oh thank god that's not my kid and we just need a little assistance and hope to be released from care after a few visits. That's not our story and we are so thankful to the entire team at this office for loving our child and taking the time to figure out her why and treat us like family. You can be glad it's not your child but BE THANKFUL to have this office of highly skilled professionals to care for your child. When our daughters metabolics team provided little hope to her life, we saw the possibilities of it through her therapy. We get all of her services through Pure, PT (Previously Korena and Jessica), now Lesley , OT (previously Nina), now Camille Bustillo, Speech Amanda Orechkin and Feeding/Speech Breeanne Werring. We spend a lot of time there, 7 sessions a week! I trialed loads of places and found Pure to be the best. We have seen almost all the therapists (our kid is a stubborn little one) but certainly feels at home with all of them, these people are like family to us and we cry and laugh together through all the ups and downs. We also took our oldest here for rehab after a broken ankle and she was back in the gym and competing in gymnastics within 3 months. I urge you if your on the fence or unsure go, give it a try and hear from the parents with the tried and true results sitting in the waiting room. P. S. My daughter who could barely hold her head up is now walking, talking, and learning beyond any of our wildest dreams. We are so thankful for this place and these special ladies. See you there!

I love to eat! Thank you Liz!

What I appreciate most about this clinic is the personalized attention from the physical therapist, who dedicates the entire session to one-on-one care, a rarity in the field. After working with a couple of therapists, I found Ross to be exceptional and the ideal fit. His expertise in sports injuries and nuanced understanding of human movement is impressive. Moreover, his encouraging and patient demeanor is essential when dealing with patients in pain (and who might be feeling down because pain has prevented them from doing what they love). Over the past couple of months, I have seen significant improvement in my injuries under his care. I have regained my range of motion, and he has correctly diagnosed and treated what has been the true cause of what's been causing my lower back/hip/ sciatica pain. Ross adapts exercises to accommodate my needs, enabling me to continue enjoying activities I love. Last but not least, I really enjoy the front desk staff, including Brian, Nicky, and Carter. They are always welcoming and friendly. When I see them, I feel like I am saying hello to my friends. It's so important to feel relaxed going into PT. I cannot recommend State Of The Art enough.

All in all, I ended up with close to 20 sessions by the time I was done, over a period of 4 months or so, with a break in between. The first session was about measuring range of motion and identifying weak spots and areas that needed improvement and more flexibility Mike was able to quickly diagnose and identify the best course of treatment. He also spent a lot time working on the mobility of my back and lower body, being very methodical about it and drawing from his vast experience and training to customize it appropriately. Here I should add he does not hesitate to encourage you to push yourself further to the limits of what is possible, while at the same time being very mindful of any associated pain and fine tunes and adjusts accordingly. I was also given a printout as a home exercise menu for me to practice in my free time. My pain that was close to 8/9 on a scale of 1 - 10, had improved to between 0 and 1 by the time I was close to finishing my program here Scheduling is very easy with Tommy at the reception and they deal with your insurance, making the whole process very convenient and seamless. As before, I highly recommend giving them a call if you ever need physical therapy.

They did not bill our insurance company and every time we get a bill we ask them to bill the insurance and they say they will and that they will follow up. They never do and sent us to debt collectors. Totally unacceptable. Just bill the insurance plan and if there is a co-pay let us know! Update: Aetna said they are in network so they are not allowed to bill us for a denial, they can appeal it but they can't send customers bills. They had 180 days to submit it. They had the right insurance info and within the timeframe but they waited too long to bill the insurance company! Danielle , hopefully you see this message. I told you the billing department you use is ineffective. If your billing department was effective and as they noted they received our new insurance "January 3rd 2025" (even though I provided it much sooner), they still were within the timeframe to submit to Aetna and get it approved. Aetna confirmed you all sent the claim after the 180 day period, so YES they (the 3rd party billing department) are ineffective at their jobs. You all were also, per Aetna policy, never allowed to try to bill us for it, or send us to collections. Sounds like you should look for a new 3rd party vendor for billing.

Among the injuries I sustained, the most significant were skull base fractures and fractures of my orbit, which led the emergency doctors to diagnose me with traumatic optic neuropathy. After consultations with maxillofacial specialists and ophthalmologists, I was told I was legally blind, 20/230, and that this was now my life. Devastated, I reached out to Dr. Lin who was highly referred by a longtime family friend. She felt he and his team should see me and offer other opinions. While Western medicine may refer to Dr. Lin as a "physical therapist," I don't think that language fully defines what he does. At our first meeting, he was gentle, attentive, and deeply aware of my condition. His method is difficult for me to fully articulate, but it was unlike anything the physicians I had seen before had provided. Dr. Lin created a treatment plan in collaboration with his in-house acupuncturist, Dr. Park, and the two of them treated me in concert. I visited them about once a month. Dr. Park performed acupuncture targeting specific hemispheres they agreed would be beneficial, while Dr. Lin used manual techniques, pressing, pulling, and adjusting different parts of my face and body. One moment stands out clearly in my memory. As Dr. Park had acupuncture needles placed in the points she selected, Dr. Lin pressed a section of my face under my eye with significant pressure. The instant he released, my nasal passage cleared dramatically. I had been so focused on my vision that I ignored other parts of my body that also needed attention. This is what impressed me most: their understanding of the interconnectedness of the human body, and the way each system affects the next. Even though I came in focused on a single issue, they recognized that other problems could be developing or stagnating and that treating one area would likely set off a domino effect. They addressed everything collectively rather than isolating one symptom. Dr. Park also gave me homework: changes to my diet, foods to avoid, preferred cooking methods, and even the temperature of liquids I should consume. Detailed instructions that had never been offered nor had I considered. Western medicine had only offered me chemical treatments or surgeries to remove or implant. Dr. Lin was one of the few who was relieved I had not had a surgery and was not taking medication. In my most desperate moment, when the reality of vision loss was fresh and overwhelming, they helped keep hope alive. I am happy to say that I have since improved to 20/40 vision. Slowly, every day I feel a little better. I am not claiming that Dr. Park and Dr. Lin performed miracles. What I do believe is that the treatment they provided stimulated something meaningful in my recovery. Maybe I would have healed to this extent without them, maybe not. But I wholeheartedly feel that their treatment encouraged my body to heal itself. I am four months removed from the incident, I have my vision back and I feel great. Recovery is not complete, but I am in a place now that my Ophthalmologist told me never to expect. Thank you to both Dr. Lin and Dr. Park. I could not be more grateful.

The team at R&R are amazing!…read more I started coming to R&R in March 2026 for a frozen shoulder and rotator cuff issue. I've been in constant pain for 1.5 years, and had gone through 15 PT sessions elsewhere that actually made me feel worse. I had to get a steroid shot and 10 acupuncture sessions to help with the pain. After all these things, certain movements still caused stabbing pain on my shoulders, and my movements are so restricted that I need daily help reaching for things. I was not able to sleep without my pain in my shoulder either, which impacted my quality of life. Dr. Alison Wu has worked on me since March. She is so approachable, and she manually works on different areas of my body to help my shoulder heal. She does not ignore my pain tolerance during treatment sessions, and explains what she is doing and what I should feel as she works. Her exercises and recommendations are so helpful to maintain the progress at home. In June, I finally started sleeping through the night. I continue to sleep without pain since then, which is so very important. Each week, my range of movement continue to improve, and most importantly, the movements are not accompanied by restrictive pain. Last week, I was able to finally move myself off the couch without needing help, and I was not in pain. I cried because it was such a relief to be able to do simple movements independently without pain, and finally being able to get consistent, restful sleep. I also started acupuncture with Dr. Rebecca Chou. She listens really well and assesses my acupuncture needs during the visit. While the focus is to help my shoulder heal, she also helps my body rest. Trisha at the front desk is so welcoming and friendly, and always so accommodating. My family had to make the financial commitment to pay out of pocket for these visits, but it's worth it to regain mobility and live without pain. Thank you R&R for all you do to help people live without pain!
