This is a fairly new Spa opened this year. The people that run it have been in business for awhile and decided it was time to start their own place. I go here for Massages by Amy K. She is the best as far as I am concerned. I have been seeing her for over 3 years. She is very much into deep tissue massage and you know when you leave there, you feel like putty and if you had muscle aches when you came in, Amy will resolve that. The place is nice and clean and the massage rooms, though small are comfortable and relaxing. Amy has one of those heated massage tables and you always have a nice warm blanket covering you.. Once you get to know Amy, you will realize that she is a person that cares about her customers. Sometimes I think it is almost like family ( and NO I am not) ...... I never write reviews but this was just so bad that i need to write this. Would not recommend. Service was rushed, wash, eyebrow wax, hair cut, and blow out took about 20 mins. Hair cut is okay, not the best. My eyebrows are the worst part. I went in with thick, shaped eyebrows and asked her to just clean up the brows and to not go any thinner. Again a bad experience in the area. Purchased a groupon offer for this salon, that included color cut set and brow waxing. They didn't have my color (black) so I had to tell the owner/stylist how to make their darkest brown black with Blue additive. Color did turn out ok, but didn't last. My trim I asked for consisted of taking one handful of ends and cutting....that was it! She was nice enough, but I'm wondering where customer service has gone these days...I was quickly shooed out the door after my blowdry...when asked for some volume, she took her hands and messed up my hair and sprayed...LMFAO!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, service! I will NEVER go here again for anything. I have been to a lot of different hair salons (some for long periods of time) so I know what good and bad service means. First of all, I made an appointment a week in advance and agreed to a time that was good for them as apposed to the time I wanted. When I got there I was not greeted or anything- I actually had to walk up to one of them and tell them I had an appointment at 12:30. They said that iw ould be a couple minutes...I waited for 45 MINUTES! If my groupon was expiring soon I would have walked out. I got a wash, haircut, and brow wax. All of it took less than 30 minutes- and by that I don't mean they were skilled and experienced, I mean they rushed and did not take their time to make sure I was happy. The haircut alone took five minutes....I have hair down to my mid back and layers...5MINUTES!!! The blowdry, my five year old niece could have done a better job! EVERYTHING about my experience was terrible, everything. If you want horrible service and less than mediocre treatments....this is the salon for you! I've been to the salon twice. Once for color, cut (my hair was waist length), blow dry, and wax --it was a Groupon coupon; once for a cut and blow dry. HORRENDOUS lets just say it took my eyebrows 3 weeks to grow out, because one of the girls can NOT i repeat can NOT wax eyebrows. I understand salons is where gossip happens but not at the expense of my eyebrows. the hair dresser didnt even have the right brush to blow dry my hair. She had a paddle brush and blew my hair since when is that how you do hair. I wouldnt recommend to my worst enemy, let alone me go again save your self a head ache and a few eyebrow hairs. Worst experience in my life. I went in with shoulder length hair. I asked for bangs, shorter sides long in the back, 1st cut no bangs, same length all the way around. It looked terrible, so I told the stylist, 4-6 inches front to back. (All hair the same length.) She showed me approximately 5 inches (on the top) I said that would be fine. When the cut was completed it is now, 4 inches on the top, 2 inches on the back, and the bangs are too short. they fall above my eyebrows. The stylist is a butcher. I got a groupon for partial highlights, hair cut, wash, and blowout. I always check reviews before purchasing, but despite having one bad review I decided to give it a shot... horrible decision. I had made an appointment days prior. When I walked in, both of the hair dressers just looked at me. No greeting or anything. I sat on the couch not knowing what to do until one of the ladies walked to the front desk and looked at her appointment sheet. That's when I walked towards her to tell her I had an appointment! We proceeded with the highlights and then the wash. The entire time, my hairdresser seemed uninterested and miserable. There was no enthusiasm, no conversation, just awkwardness. Then it was time for the hair cut.... I cannot believe how crappy of a hair cut I got!!! I honestly wonder if she even knew what she was doing. Like the other reviewer said, the hair cut took less than 5 minutes. I have a lot of layers. She literally trimmed the tiniest bit of the longer layer, then combed my bangs down and snipped off a minuscule amount. She didn't even know which side my bangs are swept to and just cut a chunk off. HOW CAN YOU TRIM BANGS WITHOUT KNOWING WHICH WAY THEY ARE SWEPT??! Really, you're better off going any where else. I don't know how this place is still in business. I'm glad I have a lot of hair to shield the parts that were cut by this hair dresser. NEVER GOING BACK! Don't go there. Amanda left foil in too long and my hair turned white. Then the "keratin treatment" was actually Simply Smooth Keratin Extend--a leave-in product, not Keratin Express like advertised. She offered to fix it, but I don't think so. Will go to a professional. read more

I have never been to Pure Perfection, I go here for Massage by Amy K. She is awesome. It was very nice to be able to explain to her exactly where I was sore, and that I don't like too much pressure. After she came back in the room she got right to work massaging me and didn't feel the need to chat like some masseurs will. Every time I leave my body feels much looser and more comfortable. The only flaw I have found is that her table is not heated, otherwise it is a great experience coming to Amy K. read more
