I typically don't bother writing reviews but felt obligated this time; as I almost didn't bring my bike here based on the few negative reviews. I am very pleased with the service received, I had jeremy upgrade my 2021 Street Glide Special to the equivalent of HD's stage 4 but with better parts and a much better price! Work was completed in two days, I was expecting a couple weeks. Way better than the 14 weeks my local Harley dealer gave me as they can't get parts. For what it's worth, I highly recommend Pure Powersports and Jeremy. I'll be regular customer with my toys. read more

Hello All: I just wanted to give you an update on my bike operations since my last posting Jan 6th 2026. I want to tell everybody my bike has been made whole by J&BCycles in Burlington Wisconsin. Let me just tell you the experience between Pure Powersports & J&B Cycles is no comparison in terms of quality, communication, quality assessment and fair and equitable pricing. But mostly solid peace of mind. J&B went over my bike after I got it back from Jeremey at Pure Powersports and his teams response was Jeremey did nothing but add an air cleaner and remove catalytic converter for 7300.00. I did file a fraud report with my bank and recovered the money. I then took it to Jake at J&B cycles and all I can tell you I completely trust his work and his work ethic. My advice to anyone considering going to PurePowersports is DON'T GO at some point you will regret it. If you want to see my bike or review its before and after performance please reach out to me. I would be more than happy to show you anything you want to see and answer your questions. I am a totally more informed buyer and reviewer of motorcycle service shops. Jeremey took advantage of my ignorance and I am partly to blame for not educating myself. But nonetheless all is good now and much better then I could have ever hoped. I called Pure Powersports inquiring about a Harley-Davidson 124 engine build for February 2026 He said he was running a "winter special" today is the last day to hold the price I need a $500 deposit over the phone. A week later I was going to bring my bike in, I read a few extremely troubling review on how Jeremy was using old motor parts instead of brand new parts and this was verified by a Harley dealership you can read another reviews. He did absolutely ZERO work on my motorcycle it was on his property less than 24 hours. The motorcycles in his shop we're covered in dust no work being performed on any bikes immediate gut feeling this was a scam! I explained I decided not to go with the build he got irate belligerent spewing profanities threaten to call the police to have me remove from his property and immediately said he was going to try to sue me! I asked for my deposit back he agreed said 3 to 5 business days I have yet to see it. Do not trust this company or Jeremy you will never get your money back look at other reviews on Yelp. In June 2024, I went into the shop for one of his great cam deals that he advertises on Facebook. Had a couple other things I wanted him to do. Picked out the cam. I wanted to have him install the adjustable push rods in the fueling HD lifters. That were all part of his cam deal about a week later he called and said the bike was done so I went in and picked it up. I was excited bike ran well for a while and started getting some topping noise around April of this year tried to call in a couple of times. No answer Facebook message no answer finally got a message. Finally got a message saying he was out of the shop. He would get with me the following Monday never happened so after a while of trying to get a hold of him, I gave up and took it to a different shop to have the oil changed done and to check out the top and noise. That shop took the bike apart to find out that I didn't have any of the parts that I paid for with his cam upgrade installed in my bike. They were stock parts from a CVO. I had stock lifters and stock push rods and a CVO 255 cam in my bike camp bearings were not replaced camp chain. Tensioners were damn near war down so they were not replaced. Tried to call him several times to confront him about it. No answer Facebook message. No answer finally got back a hold of me saying that he wanted pictures and proof of. Where it was and what came out of it so I sent him those had to try and get a hold of him again because he wasn't getting back to me said he would order the parts that were supposed to be in my bike and that he wasn't sure what happened. Which I don't get since he's the only one there that works on bikes and owns the shop. A few days go by no parts week goes by no parts another week and a half go by no parts so he's completely ghosted me so his little $1400 Cam deals that he's doing beware cause you'll end up paying another shop to redo the whole damn thing I wouldn't go to this place for a light bulb. Called made an appointment week before Thanksgiving. Dropped off 2007 Road King, as approved by Jeremy for performance parts and tuning. Called January 2025, said would be ready in two weeks. Called every week in January, Jeremy would not answer phone or return calls from voice mails left. Called every week in February, again no answer or return calls. Used another phone to call in March, Jeremy picked up. Said bike would be ready in two weeks. Drove to shop, March 14th, 2025. Asked for bike and refund of $1000 deposit for parts. Jeremy said he was in middle of a time critical tune and would get my bike out of his storage area later that day. So no deposit returned, no work done. Avoid this shop at all costs. I have contacted a local attorney for civil suit to recover deposit and I am seeking punitive damages. read more

He had my bike for 3 plus years reasons being covid , he got covid, the clutch hub was bad, the fuel was not making enough pressure, the parts got lost, the swing arm bushings were bad, he fell of the dyno ,needed a different throttle body,he was in a car wreck . November 2023 he said it would be ready after the holidays just needed tuned was all 2 weeks into January I try to contact him no response he's always bad on responding I send him a message telling him I'm coming Im coming after my bike I'll take care of it he yells I'm impatient first, I tell him I'm after my bike he tells me all Harley riders are impatient I tell him I'm getting my bike he finally says he's tired of me anyway I told him I was tired of him. Scammer and Thief - Please pay attention to the negative reviews it is more truth than false statements. If you have had any work there make sure to double check any supposed upgrades. I had my bike there for an upgrade special to a 110 kit with cam, ported heads, new clutch and dyno tune. Jeremy did complete the 110 kit and cam, but did not do the ported heads that I was charged $1000 for, and the clutch was bad as well. Jeremy did not do the Dyno tune either, when you change the motor this much, there were extreme hot spots where it should have been tuned for the new motor combination. I could have blown my motor had I not taken it to another shop. the repairs to his "work" were over 1500 to fix what should have been correct for the initial $5000 I have would not trust him with an oil change at this point. After This con-artist installed and tuned a 124 kit on my 2017 road glide, the bike sumped on the way home. I was new to HD and not sure what was happening. Did a lottle research and gave him a call. No answer. Left a voicemail. No return. Did this a few times. Emailed. No response. I couldnt lose the riding season so i had a reputable shop install a cam chest an oil pump upgrade, but it was too late. The engine ate itself after 500 miles. CANNOT RECOMMEMD STRONGLY ENOUGH TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAMMER. read more

DO NOT GO THERE He is a thief, had our bike for 3 years to get new radio, had to go to the police to get it back. Got it back and it was in pieces, the radio never taken out, he lied to us for 3 years, he was taking the good parts off and putting on other peoples bikes and throwing their parts in a box, the engine was just pieced out to other bikes. I bought and paid for a 14" cable kit to install 12" apes with 2" risers on my Harley. This company never sent me any tracking numbers or even contacted me with drop off details. On the day I was scheduled to receive the products from Fed Ex I called the company and asked for aforementioned tracking number and was told that I would be contacted by "his wife" with the details shortly. Hours passed and I received no contact from this company or "his wife" so I called back and asked what was up with my callback or when my parts would be here. At this point the owner of this company became upset with me and told me that he is now not going to deliver my product to me and in fact was now going to cancel my order. Then he called me back multiple times and verbally abused me with taunts about how he canceled my order and is refunding my money. On the day of delivery! Who does that??? He went completely out of his way to cheat me out of the product I bought and paid for through his company. And as of this point I still have not received my refund or any proof that a refund even exists. These are deceptive practices. Legally the term is theft by deception. And this is fraud. These are criminals and should not be trusted. If I took someone's money like this I would be arrested and prosecuted for these actions. He also called the police on me and made a false police report stating that I was repeatedly calling him and harassing him. When I fact it was the other way around and I have screenshots of this. The owner of this company is a very petty individual and a criminal. If I could give them zero stars I would. And he will be seeing stars when them cops show up with all their badges to arrest him and treat him like the thief he is. I just picked up my motorcycle today from Jeremy at Pure Powersport. He did a Cam upgrade for me as well as exhaust , re-mapping and dyno tuned it as well. I thought my bike was running good before I took it in for the cam upgrade but after picking it up today I have to say I was completely blown away!!! My bike is a rocket ship!!! The Cobra pipes he put on as well are beyond what I could imagine they'd be. Jeremy did an amazing job on my bike and kept me posted with updates on his progress. When I dropped it off to him I knew he was just coming back to work after his serious car accident he was in back in mid June. I had previously made an appointment with him back in June to have this work done but for personal reasons I had to cancel and then heard about his accident. I decided to wait for Jeremy to be able to work again so I waited until seeing that he was finally back to work and contacted him about doing my cam upgrade and I'm so glad I waited!!! I give a -0 for my rating of Jeremy Pure Powersports. The owner Jeremy is one of the most dishonest, disrespectful person that I've ever dealt with! I gave him the opportunity to do a Cam upgrade with *CUSTOM TUNING*. While I got my bike back in a reasonable time frame I immediately noticed differences in it's performance. Examples: sputtering, not engaging gears properly, backfire, bogging and dying out. When I called Jeremy we were in agreement that I should bring the bike back in and he would make sure to solve these problems! After 3 weeks no phone calls, no emails and no contact at all from him. I stopped in to check on the progress and he immediately said it was done and if I had any more issues take it to Harley. I rode it most of the summer before taking it to Harley as directed by Jeremy Pure Powersports. Harley Davidson of Woodstock informed me the current tuner and tuning that was purchased and supposedly done by Jeremy was not correct for my bike. Which was causing the complications I was having. I immediately contacted Jeremy Pure Powersports to discuss the issues that were found. His response was to start yelling and being disrespectful on the phone with me. His last suggestion was to come into his shop and finish the discussion. I gave him sometime to cool off and I showed up 2 weeks later. Let me tell you in a short version. Jeremy continued his disrespectful, condescending yelling and eventually he felt like calling the cops would help his situation. I didn't give him the benefit of turning his story on me so my friend and I removed ourselves but not before flagging down the officer to give him my story. I ended up spending much more then anticipated at Harley but it is done right now. I tried getting back my money for the tuner and tuning but obviously there was no cooperation on Jeremy's part. *Jeremy is a bully and manipulates the situation by using intimidation tactics!! He is a major LIAR! When he is caught being a LIAR he turns the conversation into that he is being attacked and tells you to leave and better yet he calls the COPS!!!. He has no background in motorcycle mechanics or any certifications in motorcycle mechanics* this guy shouldn't even be working on motorcycles let alone being a business owner!!! **DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH JEREMY PURE POWERSPORTS** *Just so you are all aware he has a 5 star rating on Facebook that he CAN CONTROL!! If I could give ZERO stars I would. I took my motorcycle in for a dyno tune, instead they talked me into buying new mufflers. I payed for new mufflers and a dyno tune ($800). My bike still ran as bad as before I brought it to them. I was charge for a dyno tune and they did absolutely nothing. I am a mechanic myself and I know when nothing was done. I took my bike to a different place for the dyno tune and now my bike runs great. Pure powersports of crystal lake does have many complainants on the better business bureau, I did see that from the start, but gave them a chance. I wish I would of never took my bike there, it was a big waste of money and more so my time. I do not like being lied to. If you are looking for good service I would not recommend pure powersports. Bad, very bad. I have left my full explanation of my interactions with Jeremy and Pure Powersports on their Facebook page, as well as the Better Business Bureau. It is quite lengthy and exceeds the allowed text with yelp, so I will summarize. However, if you want my full description, I highly suggest that you go to the BBB website or the Pure Powersports Facebook page (that is, if he doesn't delete my post). Basically in a nutshell, I have spent the better part of the last 3 years dealing with Jeremy for the exact same oil leak issue. His communication is absolutely horrendous and one of the greatest weaknesses of his business. If you read other reviews, most of his customers give him rave reviews about the performance upgrades or modifications that he has done to their bikes. I had service work done and I learned the hard way that this is not one of his strong suits. After my bike was diagnosed, it spent over a month at his shop, two years in a row, before it was "fixed". After having the same issues twice, I brought the bike to another technician. He said that my issue was never related to the repairs that Jeremy performed and charged me for. So it's clear that he misdiagnosed my bike, and charged me for something that was never needed. I told him that I want my money back, and I have not heard back from him since, which is why I'm leaving these reviews. Hopefully I'll hear back from him and I can provide an update with a positive resolution. Until then, I will continue to wait by the phone because I'm getting pretty good at it by now. read more

As I was attempting to downshift approaching a stoplight, my toe was unable to locate the shifter lever. I looked down and the lever was hanging way down below my foot peg. Thinking I had snapped a cable, I limped the bike in 4th gear to the nearest repair shop. After I got off the bike, I saw that the bolt that holds the lever in place had simply vibrated out. The gentleman running the shop came out and took care of it promptly, refusing payment after the fix was complete. He had me up and running within 5 minutes, all while being friendly in the process. The absolute worst service I have ever had. I brought the bike in for a simple brake pad installation, and new tires. They managed to mess it up beyond anything I could imagine. They stripped out my rear caliper, used the wrong brake fluid, damaged my custom plate mount, damaged and cracked my brake light and plate light. When I brought it back, they denied it all. They blamed it all on a faulty master cylinder, and wanted to charge me to fix that, when it was not that. I would never use them again, not even to change a light bulb. read more

Had a tire put on back in February. Brought the wheel and the new tire in after they told me they could have it done by the end of the next day. I also ordered some brake pads. The next day I called to make sure it was ready and was told that they hadn't gotten to it yet, they needed another day. Ok. Called the next day and was told that they still hadn't gotten to it, that they were waiting for my brake pads to show up. I told them that I definitely wanted to pick it up on Friday because the weekend was going to be in the 60's and I wanted to get out on my bike. They told me that it would for sure be ready and my pads would be in. Ok. I called the next day, now Friday, on my way home from work. What answered me was a recorded message saying that they were going to be closed Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Pretty convenient since those were all the days that the weather would be good for riding. Definitely not ok. Finally picked up the mounted tire on Tuesday- sans brake pads because "they never showed up" Fast forward to end of June: Been riding for a few months now, and the whole time I've noticed the rear tire has very little traction. It would slide out at the slightest increase in acceleration on a turn. I finally decided to investigate: AND THE TIRE WAS PUT ON BACKWARDS!! Now, some tires wont make a difference, but directional tires do. DEFINITELY FUCKING NOT OK So in the end, I had to pay someone else to fix what these losers couldn't do right, I mean there's even an arrow telling you which way to put it on! And they do other work on other bikes? I wouldn't let these asshats touch my bike to wash it if I were you. Fucking idiots. read more

I gave them my bike for winter storage for the second time after a very successful first winter storage, and the bike was in good working order with no mechanical issues. When I called in early spring to have it ready they told me that the is now a leak from one of the carburetors. They said that the part that was now leaking is hard to find, and that my bike was taking up space in their shop. Their mechanic even told me that I was costing them $250 a day in real customer work. Last time I checked, I was a paying customer that had his bike broken by them. After some more pressure from them, I had them deliver my broken bike to my house. After having other bike shops look at the part in question, it was determined that Pure Powersports had over torqued the screws on the part. They seemed like good guys the first winter I stored my bike with them, but now I have a broken bike in my garage. I even called to see if they have located the part, and they came up with nothing. They dropped me like my bike, time and money weren't good for them. Horrible follow up service. They never once called to apologize for the rude behavior of the mechanic, or to update me for part information. read more

Truth in advertising laws are of no concern to these people. Fast turnaround time my behind over 1 year on (a single cylinder engine) ATV and they have no clue as to when they will be done. Been given excuses like technician cut his finger, dislocated shoulder, to busy because of snowmobile season, ect. I called one week they were "Trucking on It" next week not done "Oh he's Picking away at It". These guys are either horrible or very prejudice business men. I'm shocked they get on the radio and laugh and make claims like "Ridiculously Fast Turnarounds" I'm afraid if I told them what was really on my mind it would take them another year or I'll find a box of scrap out by the curb. read more

First of all Dave and the employees of pure power sports are real nice guys but when it comes to customer service and service bikes they are horrible I just recently had my bike service and fitted with halo head lights and chain and sprockets when I went somewhere else to have a minor issue serviced we noticed the hack job they did first of all when they put my lights in they did not mount the electrical boxes which caused major damage and completely shattered my fairings which cost me alot to replace then they misplaced my motor mount bolt which is gone and my slider is spinning and on top of all of this when they went to replace my bolts for my fairings they used whatever they had laying around and they also just took screws from other areas of my bike and put them other places thinking I would not notice....which I did so if I were you I would take it ANYWHERE but pure power sports they have no clue what they are doing and a rip off and if they are reading this I'm glad maybe they will up there game and go to school for proper service and customer service read more

I had my carb cleaned here. Without seeing it, another shop told me it would need to be rebuilt and would run about $150 with parts and labor. I called this Pure Powersports and they told me over the phone that it could probably be taken apart, cleaned and set to factory specs and be good. I picked the carb up a few days after dropping it off. It costs $66. I put it back on the bike and it fired up on the 2nd kick. It would hardly start and wouldn't idle before cleaning. Seems like an honest company to me. I'll definitely be back if I need anything else done. read more

Shoddy company, shoddy workmanship, doesn't stand behind their work. And that's the nicest thing I can say about them. Had an electrical problem in Sept of last year. Jeremy assured me that they found the problem and fixed it. Rode it another dozen times or so, put the bike on a trickle and put it away for the winter. Went to start it a few days ago, same problem. Talked with Jeremy on Tue. He was very rude. Said he had to look at it again. I asked when he could pick it up. 3 weeks. Asked when I'd get it back, 5 weeks. I am a business owner as well. When I get backed up, I work extra days, hours, whatever it takes. If the problem could possibly be from something my company did, I try to fit thrm in. Its called customer service. When I asked him about this, he just snapped and tried to tell me he works 120 hours a week as it is. Jeremy, you only work 5 DAYS!!!! You would have to work 24 hours a day all week. Somehow, you don't seem the type. Safe to say, I wouldn't bring my granddaughters tricycle in to your shop, let alone either one of my bikes. To bad your partner left you.
