My Boom! 6.5GT radio on my 2018 FLTRU was getting a little glitchy: locking up, not remembering my fade setting and not sounding as good as when my Rockford-Fosgate Stage II system was new, with clicking/popping sounds at times coming from the back, top speakers. Wow! The new service department team was great! TeeJay fixed my system in just an hour with new software updates for the radio and Rockford-Fosgate amps. He also properly paired my Rockford-Fosgate Stage II system to my Radio and tuned the system and fixed the channel assignments. My Rockford-Fosgate Stage II system sounds even better than when I first got it installed three years ago. Dave and Greg were awesome! Very friendly, providing an excellent service experience. I hope I won't need service again soon but if I do, I'll look forward to having my bike serviced at Lake Shore HD!

Great sales knowledge of the bikes. Low key but on it..... Would highly recommend this location to anyone. Very good selection ...

I give this HD dealership 5 stars because of Brian B. in sales. He was professional & took the time to allow me to test ride the Milwaukee 8 Road King. I'm stiLL looking for the right bike to eventually replace my RK, but before I buy, I'll definitely give Brian B. a chance to earn my business. This dealership displays the real prices of its bike without a $1500 added BS charge like Woodstock HD and other dealerships do. I'm tired to the typical dealership bait & switch pricing strategy. This dealership seems straightforward. Ask for Brian B.

This review is on an experience I had with the service department and not the entire dealer itself. I purchased my bike here back in 2018 under old ownership and it was a great experience. A lot of new faces that I don't know so when I saw Kory from the service department I was pleased to see he was still there. I came in to schedule tires I was bringing in to get put on, and was quoted $100 per tire if they were on the bike and $50 if I brought the wheels off the bike. I like to drop my bike off the day before so they can work on it, and dealt with an individual by the name of Matt at the service desk. I don't ever write reviews, but I want to let other Harley riders know to be aware of him. I don't know if he thought I was one of those dentist or doctor Harley Davidson riders that I always hear about, or if he thought I was still wet behind the ears. Maybe it was because I didn't look like the typical Harley rider that he was used to, but he tried to charge me $454 dollars to get my tires put on. Yea that's right, $454 dollars for tires I was bringing in to get put on, nothing else. I told him that I was quoted $100 for on the bike and $50 off the bike when I came in to schedule the appointment, and he told me that they've never charged that much for tires to be put on, and that on top of that there's a labor charge. I've never heard of this before in all my years of riding, that not only is there a charge to get tires put on, but on top of that you'd have to pay additional for labor to get them put on. He then tried to tell me there was a miscommunication and that he can't do it for that price and that "his workers need to get paid." Trying to tell me there was a miscommunication when he wasn't there for the conversation, I thought was funny. I told him there was no miscommunication and my exact words to him were, "I'm not trying to blow smoke up your ass, and pull a fast one. I was told $100 on the bike, $50 off the bike. My word is my bond and if a man who I trust tells me $100 on the bike and $50 off the bike, I'm going to take him by his word." The way Matt handled this situation was very unprofessional. He could have said you know what, let me talk to that service advisor when he comes in and we'll figure it out, but instead he just blows me off and is adamant that it was a miscommunication. I was ready at this point to take my bike somewhere else just for the principle, but I was like you know what let me talk to the service advisor that's been there for years and not some new face I don't know. Matt needs to work on his customer service skills. If Harley is trying to bring in new riders, having to deal with people like Matt at their dealerships is going to hurt them. He needs to understand Harley riders come from all walks of life and aren't cookie cutter riders that you can just try and rip off because you think they don't know any better. It's not my first time at the rodeo show, but obviously it was his, and I'm not sure who put him in the position that he's in, but he definitely needs some more training before he can move up in the ranks. He needs to get demoted and learn what Harley Davidson really is about. Needless to say I spoke with the one I trust the next day and paid what was quoted. It's hard nowadays trying to find someone you trust, and Matt in that service department can't be trusted.

Had a great experience here. I worked with Cliff to get a used Sportster. They had one with less than 100 miles in amazing shape. They respected my time and we got a price I was happy with. I got to ride it home the same day. Sometimes when you work with sales folks it can be frustrating, negotiations take time, they will try to sell you things you don't need or want or try to push you to get something else. They didn't mess around with any of that here and got me what I wanted and that was it. Thanks everyone!

Beware ! Beware ! Beware ! Do not do business here !!! Called to set up an appointment to get my bike serviced and it was the worst n most dishonest experience I've ever had . Spoke to Jake the service writer n was quoted $350 for a fork seal replacement. Made the appointment for the following week as the seal had to be ordered . Paid $44 over the phone to order the part n was told to bring it in the following Wednesday. Called Tuesday to reconfirm and was told Jake was off n no appointment was set however part was in n Kyle said he would get me in first thing in the morning. Came in next morning n again signed my work order showing that there was approximately $310 due after repair. Then when the work was done I was presented with a $600 bill !!!!! I asked why and was told it was cuz it was 3 hours labor n was quoted wrong price . However when I got the original quote it was for 3 hours labor also . Asked to speak to service manager (Dave ) and was given a bs excuse that the original quote was wrong n didn't have the correct labor charge even thou I was quoted 3 hours n that's how long it took w no extra charges . Sat there for 30 more minutes while manager adjusted n was able to pay the original quote . Now im standing waiting for my bike to be pulled up ( repairs were done a hour ago ) for 40 min cuz the said they're cleaning the fluids off my bike . They pull up my bike and not only did my bike have fork lubricant all over my bike there was also grease prints on my windshield from the mechanics finger all over my windshield. Not only did they not clean ANYTHING on my bike the got grease on my seat and windshield also . I don't understand what they were doing for 40 min while I was standing there waiting for my bike but definitely did not clean anything on it . Calked and spoke to Dave n he insisted that the bike was cleaned which is a lie and then proceeded to say they didn't have a porter n offered to pick up my bike n detail properly n deliver back to my home which I declined cuz I had no faith in a company that lies and is dishonest. I cannot stress what a bad company this is and would warn anyone from doing business here . Had Bassan ? The GM call me the next day apologizing and stating he was new and they were trying to correct problems from previous management team . Place is a joke n one thing you can not overlook is incompetence n dishonesty. Stay away from this dealer group or you will regret !!!!!!

They have talked down to her and said they do not have any records and they do not know what she is talking about. I bought a new Vespa for my wife as a wedding gift. The new Vespa that I have bought from here has broken down 4x. Each time it has broken down we have sent it back to them. We have sent it back to them 3x to fix and they cannot find the problem with it. At this point, Piaggo of America has sent the Vespa to another authorized dealership to service it. The last time it broke down while she was riding it and made her swerved onto on coming traffic. She almost got into an accident. Apparently these guys do not care about any of that. AVOID this place at all cost. Do not take your bike or scooter here for repairs. Do not even buy from them. They are nice to you until something goes wrong. Old review Just bought a Vespa for my fiancé as a wedding gift here. I am shocked they do not have any reviews yet. Bought the scooter from Don. He is a great guy. One of the co-owner and you can tell this is his passion. Guy had a very successful career working and I guess this is what he considers as retirement. He was very knowledgeable in not just scooter but motorcycles. It was nice to buy from an honest dealership. This is not the first vespa dealership I've been to to try to buy one. Last one felt like buying from a used car dealer. Needless to say I walked away from there. This place is very straight forward with pricing. They are very honest. Family own and you can tell they treat all their customers with respect. Felt like I was buying from a friend rather than a stranger.

I've been coming to this place since my brother, Dirk Christopher Hostetler (Host, near the end)…read morepassed way on October 19th, 2008 and willed me his R1200c. They are amazing and you'd never know that this is the most active BMW dealership in the state. The service department has consistently given me precise diagnostic work, clear estimates, and meticulous documentation of all maintenance, from valve adjustments and final drive service to complex electrical troubleshooting and software updates including when I messed my electrical system up bad by installing an LED nightlight system on it. Their technicians treat older oilheads and newer water-cooled models with equal competence, use OEM parts unless I request alternatives, and always torque to spec and log service intervals so my maintenance history is complete and easy to reference. I sold that 1200 with all its maintenance paperwork and bought an R18. Turnaround times are accurate, communication is proactive (calls, texts, and photos when needed), and they're transparent about what is urgent versus what can wait, which makes long-term ownership planning honest and straightforward. The parts guy and his counter is efficient, knows microfiche and part supersessions cold, and can usually get obscure components within a couple of days. Overall, the operation feels like a high-volume shop in terms of capability and inventory, but with the attention to detail and personal familiarity of a small, specialist BMW-only garage. Do NOT ignore the huge selection of used bikes of EVERY MAKE that they've serviced and, many times, have rebuilt. Their inventory is ENORMOUS and their prices are below market (I am constantly amazed at their below market deals).

To be clear, the service itself was completed professionally and I paid the $420 bill without issue. My frustration is not about paying for maintenance -- it's about feeling misled throughout the process and disappointed by the lack of customer care. When I purchased the bike brand new, I was told the first 600-mile service was included. Because of the Midwest riding season and winter storage, I didn't hit the mileage until later. During visits in January and March, I specifically asked if I could bring the bike in early for service since I was still under the mileage requirement at the time. I was told no and that the bike needed to be at least around 550 miles before the service could be performed. Now, after completing and paying for the service, I was informed that as of January 2026 the bike actually could have been brought in as early as 350 miles. That was extremely frustrating to hear because it directly contradicted what I had been told previously when I made efforts to schedule the service earlier. Had I been given accurate and consistent information from the beginning, this entire situation could have been avoided. What also disappointed me was that the 6-month limitation was never strongly emphasized during purchase or during my follow-up visits. Most dealerships that value long-term relationships would at least provide a courtesy reminder or better guidance regarding an important warranty/service deadline, especially for customers who actively service and purchase through them regularly. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I completely understand dealerships have policies and need to run a business, but consistency and customer communication matter. I've purchased and serviced 3 BMW motorcycles through them, regularly bought riding gear there, tipped staff generously, and even referred multiple customers who ended up purchasing bikes from them. I genuinely believed I was building a long-term relationship with this dealership. In fact, I was seriously considering purchasing a new M1000R from them as my next bike, but after this experience, I've decided I'll be taking my business elsewhere. This review is not directed at any one employee personally, but rather the overall handling of the situation and lack of customer goodwill. Very disappointing experience from a dealership I previously spoke highly of.

Got the bike back after a $200+ oil change and safety inspection, and the broken clutch lever was not even noticed, makes me wonder what else was missed. The bike was dirty when I dropped it off, still dirty when I got it back. Dirty isn't the problem, but the dirt lets me know what was and was not touched. Really wondering if anything was actually checked. And again, being stared at silently like I had tree heads when standing at the service desk was really off-putting. Went back recently and the staff were different guys (the service department has since been moved to the other side of the building). They were more normal and friendly, but I cant get over the weird experience last season and still wonder what was missed that last time. Update: second time I've been in since my weird experience- very friendly and helpful. Worked with me to get my bike back on time before a scheduled trip. Very glad that the odd experience was a one- off type thing.

She answered all my questions with confidence and clarity, never rushed me, and made sure I was completely comfortable with every aspect of the purchase. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly attitude really stood out. The Goldwing itself is everything I hoped for--powerful, smooth, and loaded with features--but what made the experience truly memorable was the level of care Isabel put into making it all happen.
