Stopped in during an afternoon walk and immediately loved this little neighborhood gem. The space is pretty small inside but it's cozy and warm. The barista who took our order was genuinely sweet and kind, and I enjoyed our brief chat over the Gilmore girl references throughout the shop. Felt like I was in stars hollow for a bit, iykyk. I ordered the chai latte with oat milk which was excellent and heavy on the chai spice, which I enjoyed. My partner got the iced vanilla bourbon latte which they're known for, and it was just as good. The great drinks, great vibes, and awesome service make for an easy favorite. Back here for their seasonal 'I Love You A Latte' as substitute to my regular Iced Bourbon Vanilla Latte or their New Orleans CB. It's basically their version of Salted Cream Top Brown Sugar Latte. What made it fun was they were also using date syrup. It might sound sweet, but I loved how the flavor was just very well balanced. Even the cream didn't feel heavy at all. The hint of saltiness made it blend well to the sweet coffee. Perfect treat amidst hot sunny LA today. Got it for to go as it might be too humid to sit on the patio. their vanilla tastes more natural than the syrups that are pumped with sugar. it's a good menu for this part of culver and with longer hours for later caffeine fixes (closes at 5pm). i walk the extra distance to get this coffee over other shops in the area all the time. now they have a pink himalayan salt cold foam with date sugar iced latte and that's even more natural for me! read more

Almost $9 for one of the most disgusting matchas I've ever had. Millions of powdery clumps, I think they just threw powder and milk together and barely mixed, it was disgusting. I really don't think they even tried. On top of that I tipped and greeted staff and they were just rude all around. The coffee is so absolutely fine, nothing special about it. Strictly, a to-go spot. This tiny coffee shop is right across from Sony Entertainment. I made a quick stop before my road trip and ordered a matcha latte and vanilla bourbon latte. I enjoyed both! I did like the iced coffee over the matcha because it had a wonderful medley of flavors. The staff was definitely outnumbered and my drinks took a solid 15 minutes to be ready. Was driving past this spot and was drawn to the sign that said something about really good bourbon latte. I'm so glad we decided to stop by! The shop itself is super cute!! The inside area is small. There are various coffee and tea items you could purchase, as well as bottled/canned drinks. Of note, there is no indoor seating. There are like 3 benches outside but no tables. The staff member was very nice! I asked a few questions about the flavor profiles of various drinks and I was so appreciative of how honest he was. I ended up getting the Bourbon Latte but he mentioned the Campfire Latte has a mocha-like flavor. Apparently it's not super sweet (some sweetness with the hershey like syrup that they use). My partner and I LOVED the Vanilla Bourbon Latte. It was nothing like I've had before. It wasn't SUPER sweet but definitely on the sweeter side. The coffee that they used was delicious - no burnt taste at all and very smooth. You can definitely taste the vanilla but it wasn't too much. Will def come again just for this drink! read more

Something has gone wrong at this shop. I work on the Sony lot regularly and bring my people here a lot, or bring coffee back for them. No more of that! I've been visiting Super Domestic off and on regularly for several years now. They have always paid attention to their coffee and I've always been satisfied despite the $6.00 cappuccino and $1.00 minimum tip. This week every time i go in it's the same thing with the cappuccino - they don't froth the milk properly and then just dump the milk into the cup. One day it was so bad that i had to ask for a re-do. The barista rolled her eyes and then re-did the drink, steaming the milk properly and then pouring a nice flower into my coffee. However, the next time i arrived it's a different "barista" but the same problem: poorly frothed milk and she just dumps it into the cappuccino cup. It looks worse than Starbucks, and i paid $7.00 for it. I ask her about it and she tells me "cappuccino art is hard to make." I realize at that point that I'm dealing with new employees who just don't care about their craft. Even the chains like Intelligentsia, Go Get 'Em Tiger, Blue Bottle, Verve, etc all put milk art into their cappuccino's and the milk is perfectly foamed each time. And, the indy stores like Demitasse are even better at it. It's sad that a small shop that used to kick everyone's butts is going downhill like this. I'm not going anymore and telling my co-workers it's burned. $7.00 is too much to pay for anything less than perfection, especially when compared to their competitors they have to achieve that just to be competitive. (Note: I checked their reviews with photos included. A year ago all the cappuccinos had milk art and looked correctly made.) read more

I really liked this coffee spot. The baristas were super friendly and very helpful. The coffee was beautifully presented with some latte art. The coffee tasted great! The shop is very small and can get cramped as it does get busy. (For good reason) I also really like their merch items and little trinkets for sale. Same as the other spots but zero indoor seating again. Also zero bathroom. It's chill I guess. Dog photos everywhere. Outdoor seating usually has shade but forget it if it's raining. Small neighborhood coffee place located on an adjacent corner to Sony Studios on Culver. It has a fun neighborhood feel to it with the friendly service you would expect. They also serve prepared food here including some delicious, large breakfast burritos, in addition to selling some dry goods. When I walked in, it had a strong smell of delicious coffee. I can't say I'm a coffee connoisseur, even though I drink a lot of it, but it has the roast or taste characteristics/ notes of the type of coffee I really enjoy. I definitely want to go back and just get the regular black coffee, but I ordered the vanilla bourbon latte this time (it's mentioned in the window so I had to order it haha). It went well with The Attack breakfast burrito I ordered. That breakfast burrito was huge. It came with two delicious sauces and they didn't skimp on the fillings. It almost was enough to feed me for the entire day. Really cool spot and I'm sad I didn't discover this place earlier despite being so close to it. Definitely going into the rotation. This coffee is the best!! Unfortunately, I had really bad service at the Washington location this morning around 8:50 am that almost had me in late for work. After 15 min of waiting for 2 iced coffees with no one ahead of us, I asked for my money back to leave. One barista jumped in to defend the other barista and said "she's only one person!" and I said, "there are two of you here." The barista left and stormed to the back. All she would have had to say is "I'm sorry for the wait." It's really really bad customer service! Folks, I just paid $15 for two coffees and tipped, and iced coffees can be made in seconds. Just a little niceness please? And know your business - you make coffee. Please don't be surprised when it's time to make coffee. I would have loved to send this privately to someone to boost training but you don't have any other available way to do it on your website. This place was amazing! The employee taking your order was very friendly and my drink came out so quick! I got the Iced Sea Dragon and it was sooo tasty. I also got "The Mañana" burrito and it was a very good size for a breakfast burrito and it was so flavorful. It came with two sauces which tasted really good and if you like spicy you would love them. I did not use the sauces though because the burrito itself was so flavorful already and it was nice and hot with a cheese pull (my fav). The cafe was small inside but they had a lot of cute merchandise available. There was a sweater, a shirt, some coffee bags, some cold brew makers, and more! Purchased a pour over market price single origin coffee. They told us it would take 5-7 mins and we said great no problem. Then we saw the barista take some already brewed coffee out of the batch brew, put it into a cup, and set it near the espresso machine while she made another order. Then it seemed like she just added some hot water from the espresso machine and put it all together in a togo cup. I did not see a V60 or any type of manual brew method. We also were not told what the single origin coffee of the day was or anything. The coffee was watered down junk. I had to pour it out. I don't know what I was served or why but it was certainly not worth the $6.75 I paid. read more
