We purchased our solar panels from another company in Escondido, and after many expensive and painful visits for chronic leaks, I managed to get my manufacturer's warranty transferred to Pure Power Pools. They came out and replaced 2 panels under warranty, and fixed a few additional leaks for a reasonable price. We also recently had Gabe & his crew upgrade our Jandy operating system to iAquaLink 2.0, and convert our old colorsplash lights to new Pentair Intellebright LED lights. They were able to meet our (unrealistic) timeline, and were professional, personable, detail oriented and reasonably priced. PPP installs technology when everyone else sells commodity. Solar pool heating is a technology and it takes expertise that very few vendors have. Gabriel and Danielle do a great job of solving the technical challenge of heating your pool at no extra cost and at the same time not even penetrating the roof (tile roof situation) , utilizing the full space even if PV is in the way, and making it practically invisible from street view. Not only that, these folks can take the heat off the back of your PV array and use the same space for solar pool heating as solar electricity. I first contacted Gabe, Danielle and the Pure PWR Pool team when I was considering purchasing a house with a pool. Gabe and Danielle were friendly, professional and very responsive. Gabe provided an on-site inspection giving me his assessment of the entire system and recommendations for any immediate and future concerns that I was going to run into. As it turns out, his evaluation was very accurate and because of this, it saved me money right from the start and I was able to be proactive with some issues...saving me a lot of headaches. I'm a firm believer in building relationships between a client and service provider and since the first time went so well, I called Gabe to help replace my pool pump to a variable speed. At the same time, we completely repositioned my entire filtration system and ran new electrical. Their response time was really fast, I was on the schedule quickly and the work he did was great so when my next hurdle was replacing my pool light, I called again. This time I had to deal with the fact that the existing light wiring had fused inside the pool conduit. None of the typical solutions (I searched) worked for me and it was Gabe's experience and technical expertise that found a solution that didn't involve the nightmare of having to re-run a new conduit. He again ran new electrical and then resolved some breaker issues. My next step is going to be solar for my pool (just as soon as my roof is ready) and I've already talked through the job with Gabe. No doubt who I'll be calling. To many times, people don't stop to say thank you for great service and this team deserves it. Some of the value that you don't get with others...Gabe has often let me know that I didn't need to spend/waste my money on some items/equipment and he really helps teach you as he goes. Our pool solar sprang a leak and needed a repair. The first company that we called claimed they looked at our setup and that it would need to be replaced. I don't think that they even went onto the roof but just looked at Google Earth. I then called pure PWR and they did come out and looked at the panels. They were able to fix them promptly and they now work just fine. Pure PWR is an excellent honest company. read more

In August 2014, Gabriel installed my new Pentair Variable Speed Pump that I purchased from Amazon. FYI, some installers wouldn't install it, unless I also purchased the pump from them. Rightly so, he's a busy guy, but he showed up on schedule and did a very professional install and programming of my pump. Important to me, was his Service AFTER the install, because questions came up. He was right there on the phone with me at no charge. Very nice! He even helped me re-program my pump's Running Schedule which gave me a chance to learn how to do some minor changes in the future by myself. Very nice again! I purchased a new solar panel system to heat my pool couple of years ago, they were really good in scheduling and even now, 2 years later, I contacted them because I saw water leaking from the roof and I thought it was a bad leak but Gabrielle came in and did some adjustment on a pipe that a guy disconnected by stepping on it while hanging Christmas lights. Honesty!! I had a few leaks on my swimming pool solar system. The company that installed it based out of Orange County were going to charge me $330 just to look at it.
