They were professional, hardworking, efficient, and paid close attention to detail. Every room was thoughtfully organized, and they made the overwhelming process of unpacking feel so much more manageable. They treated our belongings with care, worked well together as a team, and were always willing to adjust things based on our preferences. What impressed us most was how much pride they took in their work. They didn't just unpack boxes they helped create a home that feels functional, organized, and welcoming. We are so grateful for Ingrid and her team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, detail-oriented professionals to help with moving, unpacking, or home organization. Thank you all for making such a stressful transition so much easier!

I recently moved from a two-bedroom apartment into a small one-bedroom condo and had to downsize, unpack, and figure out how to make everything fit. Between work and life, I felt completely stressed and overwhelmed. Ingrid came in and immediately took so much pressure off my shoulders. She helped me unpack, organize my closet, and even went through my wardrobe with me so we could let go of clothes I hadn't worn in years (or ever!). She color-coordinated everything beautifully, and now my closet feels like a peaceful, organized space instead of a source of stress. She helped me get my living room back, I can actually sit on my couch again instead of staring at boxes and piles of clothes! She did such an amazing job that I had her come back the following week to organize my bathroom and bedroom as well. She added the cutest dividers and baskets, and everything has a place. My home finally feels calm, functional, and enjoyable again. Instead of feeling stressed when I walk through the door, I feel at peace and love being home. I'm even having her help me redesign and decorate my patio next! Ingrid is sweet, funny, patient, creative, and so easy to work with. She has such a gift for creating beautiful, organized spaces while making the process fun and stress-free. I truly couldn't recommend her more!

DISHONEST COMPANY. TAKES ADVANTAGE OF ELDERLY WITH DEMENTIA…read more My father, who had dementia, contracted with this company to move to his household items to a nursing home. The company pushed for an in person estate sale DURING THE HEIGHT OF COVID in 2020. Almost no one came to the estate sale, so it only earned $400. However, they billed $3000 just expenses toward the estate sale, resulting in a loss of $2600. After my father passed they hounded me for payment (including additional charges to move his materials to his new home, which is reasonable). Of course, my father had dementia and had no ability to sign a contract, but not wanting this to have this drag on I paid to leave this behind so I could grieve. This business claims to provide compassionate service for the elderly, but our experience showed otherwise. They exploited my father's situation, pushing unnecessary services onto him and charging exorbitant fees, all while providing negligible results. They failed to respect my family's needs and showed no accountability for their actions. If you are looking for a service that genuinely cares about its clients, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. SHAME ON JAMI SHAPIRO THE FOUNDER. NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND DISHONEST AND WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR LOVED ONES. Update: I'm sharing a disparaging remark that Jami made about me when I reviewed her service with the better business bureau. She knows nothing of the situation in our family, the sacrifices we made in our family, the hardships that I endured to care for my father. Hire her team if you want someone who makes nasty comments like this after your loved one passes away. None of this changes the fact that: 1) My father had major neuro-cognitive disorder when he signed a contract with this company, 2) The "estate sale" they encouraged was against his financial interest. 3) When my father passed they threatened to take the estate to small claims court when I questioned the legitimacy of the estate sale that only racked up expenses. I paid for her services in full so that we could grieve but we never forgot how they took advantage of us in our grief. This is textbook elder abuse, which is why I am reviewing and rating her company to warn others of this practice. Update: Jami continues to lie in her review. "Arranged for the sale of the car" this is something I did alone as I held power of attorney. I agree that she provided necessary moving services, which we were happy to pay for, that is not in dispute. We thank her company for this. The dispute is over holding an estate sale that earned very little in revenue insufficient to offset the costs of estate sale, and then threatening (very quickly, when I asked any clarifying information about the bill) to take us to small claims court so shortly after my father's move and his passing. That is not compassionate care. This could have all been prevented had her team donated my father's possessions rather than held an estate sale. Furthermore, her condescending remarks towards me reveals plenty about how she thinks of her customers.

The challenge just sat there. Then I discovered Silver Linings. They were professional, patient, understanding and went the extra mile in their work. They helped better place furniture, organzed all closets, hung the pictures, got rid of what was unwanted, assembled shelving in the garage, put together some purchased furniture. They anticipated, advised and accomplished. They were, indeed, the silver lining to the challenge of moving. Dr. Michael Harris

We also met with two other local/national companies to back up our ultimate decision. One of those was easy to let go of - the person who visited our house had strange personal habits and felt comfortable sitting on our bed and brushing pencil eraser bits onto our pillows. The second one came really close, and it was a hard final decision. They offered a different approach than Tailored and there were strong points to both. In the end, the connection we made with the designer, Nick, and his willingness to dive into the challenge, won us over. With our input, he came up with really great custom concepts including an entryway closet that had a couple elements that they don't typically do. One was an area where mail could drop from the mail slot, and the other was slide out shoe trays. We still look at those and smile. The on-site installers were great. The lead installer Cassidy was our main point of contact and did a great job. We'd done some other renovation prior to the closets, and our expectations for communication were formed by those other contractors. He was respectful throughout the install, patient with our questions, and always let us know what to expect. Personally, I also appreciated the way he worked with the other installers, too. He looked like a good mentor for the others. Kudos to him and the rest of the team, Luis, Kevin and Ismael. I'll be surprised if Luis isn't in a leadership role there soon! The installation was so professionally done, with plumb walls and level shelves, that it revealed how unlevel our flooring is. When that left some gaps, the company recommended a solution to mask that without changing the original design. Cassidy came back out, assisted by Victor, and made those updates in just a few hours. Overall, this was a great experience, and we recommend the company.

SCAM ALERT This…read morecompany advertises themselves as a large and resourceful corporation "in over 40 different locations" with large resourceful "teams" and a "lead organizer" for those teams. But all it proved to be in our experience was a social media account. They charge a consultation fee ($50) which then apparently if you book goes toward the job. I scheduled a consultation, paid the fee and then get an email with no explanation simply that my home "was not a good fit for the company." I needed 6 rooms organized. Only 1 of which had a time constraint (which I would have been flexible on). The best explanation I was offered was "we have no time on the schedule [for the small office by the way]" But why would you schedule a paid consultation if you didn't have time to schedule the job at all? They happily accepted my $50 check and didn't offer to refund it until AFTER I spoke up. And if you have such a resourceful team, why not send another team member to help? Then I realized YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN INSTAGRAMMABLE SPACE. I told them no photographs of the art in my home. Comments that maybe served to suggest they prioritize instagrammable spaces included "wow look at your gorgeous view!" "The bathroom is wow like a department store" and "you've got a whole rainbow of colors in here!" Save yourself the $50.
