Went for the first time today. It was such a fun experience and the owner Bryan is wonderful. Very clean. Felt safe from covid concerns. It was appointment only and we were the only people there. I have tried cryo freeze and that didnt help w my pain issues, but pure sweat help me w my pain issues.... I had very bad inflammation in both heels, I went to a doctor and he gave me meds & inner soles for my shoes and it didnt help.... My wife says I should come w her to pure sweat and see if it helps.... ni Well I did try and guess what, it helped tremendously... Girl in charge was great. Liked the tea and oranges at the end. What I didn't like was you can hear everything and the smell of the clothes. This is supposed to help detox but you are using smelly chemical detergent and fabric softener. Next time I'm bringing my own clothes to wear. Please consider a different detergent and softener. to the reader: I am very impressed with my experience. MY session was not any thing I imagined prior to arrival. They do have TV to watch if desired....Personally I find TV makes it harder to focus on a practice where stillness and breath work is key! I requested to have no TV and Brian, the owner, offered some meditation music and I greatly obliged. I really love that they do 3 month long contracts with flex to give your sweat pod to a friend thats not a member. That is awesome. Brian is very kind. He is the talk that walks!. I didnt meet his wife but I watched her going in and out of my session. She held the space of love and professionalism as she assisted other guests. She wore a beautiful smile at all times. Sweating this intensely is not for the faint of heart! Despite the current pandemic, the owner, Bryan, took every common sense precaution in making sure the facility had a minimum number of people inside (appointment required to enter), and all surfaces and equipment were constantly cleaned and monitored. While sweating in my cozy, hot "sleeping bag," I was able to relax while watching Netflix and Bryan made sure I was hydrated and not overheating by placing icy cold towels on my forehead. Afterward, I was given sliced oranges, hot tea, and iced water to aid in my recovery from a fierce session. I felt relaxed and great afterward, knowing I was being kind to my body, albeit in an unusual way, especially living in a desert climate! Needless to say, I'm going to treat myself again! read more

I have been attending to Pure Sweat Spa for weekly infrared sauna blanket for a year. It is similar to the Shape House from Los Angeles, California. You will start to sweat more after being in sauna blanket for 30 minutes while watching the Netflix. Then you will experience continuous sweating for last 30 minutes then you would feel the heart rate to go up. That is goood because you would be burning more calories! After that, you will be escorted to the relaxing room where you will be served with slice of orange and tea of your choice. At the end, you will notice your glowing face and reduced inflammation in your muscle. I highly recommend it! read more

This was one of the best and one of the worst experiences in my life. During it I was pretty sure I was going to die. I was sweating everywhere, my head had a drum set playing in from my heart beat and time moved at a glacial pace. When I was done though I felt amazing. I slept better for multiple nights, my shoulder pain relaxed and I had more energy. The owner talked me into watching a show best advice he could have given me. The distraction from the show made it better than it would have been listening to music. If you think you can sleep during this I'm telling you ....it's not that kind of sauna. read more

INCREDIBLE! I'd give 10 stars if possible. So hearing about this place I went to the website (puresweatspa.com) and you are greeted with 6 benefits of sweating on the home page. I agree with the benefits of what they promote. 1. Detoxification- I must be toxic because after the session I was a like a wet towel. 2. Increased Energy- Not afterwards, but waking up the next day and getting the day going I felt like running a marathon. 3. Skin Complexion- I wasn't going for skin issues, but walking into work the next day I was told I looked younger. Fluke? I don't know, but at my age I will take the compliment. 4. Pain Relief- This is why I came. After the constant on and off struggles of living with back pain, I am very open to try anything other than physical therapy, pain medication, surgery and chiropractors. I've recently gone through a spell of being out of whack with lower back pain, hip, shoulder and neck issues driving me crazy. Waking up the next day I had no signs of neck, hip or shoulder pain and just a faint tinge of lower back pain. Was this just a fluke? I think not. 5. Weight Loss- Obviously you sweat a lot during this treatment and the session is 55 minutes long and a person will burn 800 - 1500 calories. Judging by the soaked clothes I was probably near the 1500 range. I do the stair machine at the gym for 30 minutes every day and usually burn 500+ calories and even though I sweat, it was nothing compared to this. 6. Improved Sleep- Anyone that has chronic pain will understand the struggles of getting comfortable at night or getting stuck in a pain medication rut. I'm not a big fan of taking pain pills as it is just a mask and doesn't help you feel what your body is telling you. Either way, I don't sleep solidly through a night. Generally I toss and turn, up and down, repositioning and wake up feeling exhausted morning after morning. The night of my treatment, once I hit the bed I felt completely relaxed, actually overslept and was late to work. I did not get up once and I slept harder than I have in ages. Services provided here are labeled Blankets and Sauna. I did the infrared blanket option. You are given comfortable pants, long sleeve shirt and socks to prepare for your session. The changing rooms are very nice and welcoming and they have showers. You are provided baskets to place your belongings and keep in your area. The rooms are separated with curtains and each have a TV with headphones to help you pass the 55 minutes away. The staff help you get tucked into your blanket and get you water with a straw and check on you frequently to make sure you are doing good. I chose a Netflix movie and saw the first 10 minutes before zonking out as the warmth took over my body. I woke back up as the technician placed a cool cloth over my head and returned to my movie, which I will have to finish when I go back. About 35 minutes in I started to feel my body starting to sweat and my heart beat was elevating like I was doing cardio. The last 10 minutes I was getting hot, but stuck to the sweat commitment. I was still not feeling super sweaty until I got out of the blanket and reality struck me. I was soaked from my neck to my ankles and felt a sense of tranquility. I was escorted to a relaxation room and snacked on orange slices and chose tea to sip on as my body cooled down. Generally I would feel disgusting and maybe embarrassed due to my sight, but I was in the relaxation zone and feeling groovy. Showers are provided but I chose to wait until I got home and tidied up in the bathroom before leaving. The place is very well put together. I've never been to a spa, so this place left me with a great impression. The staff are attentive and super friendly. I was probably uncouth in my demeanor as I was talking to loud at first, but caught on quickly to the relaxation and meditative mood of the place. The lighting is soft, but not so dark you can't see anything. The areas can be private or you can open the curtain if you are with someone. The movie selections were endless and you get a remote control to choose from the selections. I agree that whoever designed the place has a attention to detail and knows how to make people feel welcome and relaxed. I'm not sure if there are any other places like this in the valley, but I'd be shocked if this place doesn't catch on and explode in popularity. Being a sufferer of back pain from hard living in my youth, this place was a miracle for me. I will be going back again and getting my sweat on. Thank you Pure Sweat. read more

Talk about DETOX!!!!! The sauna was calling me I could feel it! My gym didn't have one so I googled sauna and found puresweatspa I know some of my friends have tried this before...... I JUST DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS MISSING!!!! I burned anywhere from 550 to 700 calories in 50 minutes(I will bring my Fitbit next time). It has blue tooth!!! I hooked up my Pandora and had ME TIME. The whole experience was really great! Staff is very helpful and informative throughout the entire appointment. The personal TV's with Netflix made you feel right at home! The cool refreshing essential oil towels brought towards the end of the sweat session were so great and really help you hang in there those last few minutes. To finish it off, the relaxation room with fresh orange slices is the perfect way to cool off and end the experience! I wish I could give five stars. The infrared blanket treatment was excellent and the other reviewers describe it perfectly. The lost star is due to not being given some of the information that I read here on Yelp. I wasn't told about a buzzer or showers. I was told there was a water bottle but it would have been helpful to have known exactly where it was. I will be coming back as I think the heat treatments truly do have great benefits. My husband and I used their saunas but we were disappointed because the saunas were extremely tiny, you are forced to sit and cannot lay down. There is no privacy as the man enters the area while I was half nude, there is no privacy so embarrassing, he never apologized. While trying to relax the people next door to us had the music so loud we couldn't relaxed, just to warn you the place is open so you get no privacy. The showers are timed. I do not recommend, overpriced! read more

I absolutely love the infrared sauna! I like the idea of boosting my immune system and my face looks really good for a few days after a session (I am guessing from the red light). The owners are super nice and accommodating. They bring you water, an ice cold rag with orange or lavender oil on it, and check on you during the session. Afterwards, I personally like to sit in the cool down room where it has dim lighting and it's quiet and relaxing. The orange slices and herbal tea hits the spot as an added bonus.
