So, when my portable AC leaked onto my flooring last night, I knew who I was going to contact. I called when they opened, and found out that he was booked for the next week. I decided to send him a message to see if there was a company he would recommend to me. He actually responded immediately and said that he'd be able to squeeze me in! You have no idea how grateful I was to hear that. He gave me two time options, and called me when he was on the way. I had no idea how much water had made its way into my flooring, so I was preparing myself for the worst. Turns out, it didn't end up being a catastrophe! Matthew used a thermal camera, and a moisture meter to inspect for moisture on the floor/subfloor and flex ducting. Once again, he was thorough at his job, and in his communication. It's difficult finding people that take pride in their work, are trustworthy, and do a great job. I've had quite a few companies do various types of jobs for me, and there are only two who I'd recommend. Mathew with Puget Sound Water Rescue is one of them!

Mathew, the owner of Puget Sound Water Rescue was timely in his responsiveness over the Yelp App (on a Sunday afternoon) and ultimately provided us the perspective and information that we needed to determine whether or not professional remediation services were warranted at this point. Ultimately we determined with his help that they were not. Despite the fact that we did not end up hiring (anyone), his knowledge, honesty, and helpfulness were 5 stars worthy. Highly recommend talking to and/or Mathew for your remediation needs!

The team at Restorion took complete care of us, handling both the mitigation and restoration flawlessly. They also helped us handle the communication with our insurance company, which took a massive weight off our shoulders. They were always polite and on time. They took great care to protect our home and furniture and make sure there is minimal disruption during the process. Jose also personally examined the work at every single stage to ensure the quality, which gave us great peace of mind. What truly set them apart happened at the very end: they noticed a small issue with our showerhead. Even though it wasn't related to the leak, they bought a replacement and installed it for us just to ensure we were left with a fully functional bathroom. Restorion does high-quality work, but more importantly, they are kind, honest people who genuinely care about their customers. We are incredibly grateful for their help.

They did a flawless job at a reasonable price, completely erasing any sign of the damage. We have already brought them back for two additional projects. Here is what sets Restorion apart from both a management and execution standpoint: Total Transparency: They provided highly detailed, itemized estimates complete with photos. Whenever the scope shifted, they immediately supplied updated paperwork. Because of this meticulous tracking, their final invoice actually came in under the original estimate after we removed a few line items. Outstanding Communication: The office sent an update to the HOA Board every evening, and the crew always arrived when scheduled. They explained the technical details without ever talking down to us. Site Management and Safety: Their containment barriers, PPE, and ventilation systems were top-tier, keeping our living spaces clean and their crew safe. They also maintained a meticulous, regular cleanup schedule. Professionalism: All the work, except for the final painting, was completed by Restorion employees, not subcontractors. That made me feel comfortable leaving the building (and my home, particularly) in their care while they worked. Every staff member was exceptionally gracious and respectful with the different personalities in our building. Special thanks to Emanuel, Ricardo, and Stephanie. José, the owner, was also amazing

We called several emergency water restoration companies, but Green Planet Restoration was the only one able send someone out to access our situation that day. David, our field supervisor, thoroughly inspected the damage and gave us an honest and careful outlook about the restoration process. Optimistically planning on insurance coverage, but realistically expecting denial, he made sure that all work and costs were approved by us before and throughout the insurance process. Thankfully we ended up being covered, and David helped negotiate on our behalf. Olman, our project manager, was attentive and communicative. He kept us up to date with all the work and progress, and helped us coordinate with the workers we had coming and going for several weeks. The crew working on the house was excellent, too! Giovanni walked us through the work, and helped us when we wanted to make adjustments. We made some pretty drastic changes to our spaces, installing LVP in both rooms and painting the wall and ceiling a dark color in one of them. These big upgrades were easily handled. At no point did we ever feel like we were left hanging or out of the loop. Even throughout the payment process, with several hiccups with our insurance checks, they were kind, patient, and understanding. Green Planet Restoration and their team help make a nightmare of a situation much easier to manage. Thank you to the whole team!

After getting several bids, I went with Vitaliy (owner) and his team. Here's why: - Vitaliy was exceptionally clear, punctual, and spoke in facts (he was not at all sales-y). - He did what he said he'd do (call me back, or prepare an estimate) when he said he'd do it. From the first interaction, it was clear he has high integrity. - Vitaliy noticed critical details (such as the fact that none of my windows had flashing!) that nobody else documented in quotes or discussed with me. - And, his responses to my questions were patient and thorough. Vitaliy helped me understand all the aspects of the project and design choices, which helped me feel confident and supported. And then the work began! - Slavic and Alex were assigned to my project and wow - they are exceptionally skilled and hard working! - Slavic and Alex have great attention to detail. The siding work is very precise and they made simple and beautiful enhancements along the way (like swapping out old and poorly installed vents). - Rot was discovered under a stairway off my kitchen, and I decided to have the staircase rebuilt. It is beautiful. They even noticed that the original staircase had a weird drop off from the interior floor and corrected that so there's now a seamless landing that is much safer and easier to use. The work Slavic and Alex did on this part of the build is as high quality as their siding work. - The work site was always SUPER tidy. Slavic and Alex took great care to clean up as they worked, paid attention to simple details like ensuring nails were picked up and that hose covers were back on (winter months), and they were very respectful of the driveway which I share with my neighbors. - Throughout the installation, Vitaliy kept me updated via text, phone calls, and site visits. I always knew where things stood and what degree of rot was uncovered (or not) at the end of a demolition day. The level and consistency of communication was outstanding. This is the biggest home project I have ever tackled, and it was by far the easiest. And that is because of Vitaliy, Slavic, and Alex. Their communication and the quality of their work is exceptional. Hire these folks!

Having been through insurance-related water damage before, I knew I needed a construction company I could truly trust. Boulder Peak was the sixth company I interviewed--and the last. The moment Moses explained that they work directly with insurance companies, I was sold. He came prepared with an incredibly detailed estimate using the same software insurance adjusters use and fought hard on our behalf, from securing two coats of paint when insurance wanted to cover only one, to submitting change orders to bring our electrical up to code. Moses and Helaina were also fantastic design partners. They guided us through every decision, created multiple 3D renderings, and were endlessly patient when we changed our minds (more than once!). They even designed custom shower glass to accommodate our upgraded bench. The crew's workmanship was pristine--and that's saying a lot because I'm very particular. Today, we couldn't be happier with our new bathroom. I would 100% recommend Boulder Peak to anyone needing construction work, insurance-related or otherwise.

This was due to a less-than-stellar experience with the initial company, but those details belong on another review... Working with Boulder Peak was a breath of fresh air! From the initial consultation to finishing the job, they were professional, informative, timely, communicative, and considerate. The consultation was quick and informative as Moses helped me determine what work was needed. He even included estimates for my requests that potentially needed a structural engineer for an exterior door in the room. At no point was I pressured or made to feel dumb for asking these questions. He simply helped me sort out the size and scale of the project with his expertise. I then got to work with Irish to schedule the project. I liked how the payment structure was setup into three 30% payments(due at various stages of the project) and a 10% payment at the end AFTER I'm satisfied with the results. Irish was on-top of the paperwork and ensured the project started quickly. I appreciated that they sent a quick "hey sent over X" instead of just relying on email/docusign/quickbooks to notify me. One thing I didn't want to do was "manage" the project myself -- asking when/if/how things would get done. Elena was great to work with because she took care of everything! She checked in during various stages of the project and stopped by several times to ensure the work was progressing and of good quality. The project was going well, so I asked to add-on a couple of additional items(dry-wall patches, adding an outlet to a wall, etc...). Elena got them added quickly and easily. These were all done WITHIN the initial time estimate with minor cost additions. They even worked with me on some completeness items that weren't in the original estimate but that we noticed on final review. Speaking of final review, I really appreciated the continuity and professionalism from Boulder Peak. The same person, Moses, who did the initial estimate was the same person who validated the final work. He was inspecting the work with more scrutiny during the final walk through than even I was, if I'm being honest. The work itself was done in exactly the amount of time they had originally estimated (about a week). It looks like a brand new room! I'm so happy to have my bedroom back! I sincerely and highly recommend Boulder Peak to anyone looking for mitigation and restoration in the Seattle area!

If you are reading this after something awful has happened to your house, you are probably…read moredesperately looking for someone to help. Go ahead, call Green State. You won't regret it, I promise. In September of 2025, we had a pipe burst in the middle of the night in the upstairs of our house. By the time we found it, it was "raining" downstairs. We had terrible, extensive damage and the damage was still actively happening as I looked for someone to call at 5am. I found Green State Restoration Monroe. They seemed to have good reviews, so I called them. They had someone at our house extremely quickly, and a full crew followed. They immediately started mitigating the damage, but that was only the beginning! We were now facing negotiations with our insurance company and extensive reconstruction. By this time, I had time to research Green State more thoroughly. We decided to go with them for the entire project. I cannot even begin to tell you the great job they did from beginning to end. Viktor, who was the first person in our house that tragic day, handled the mitigation and managed to make us feel like everything was ok. Then it was handed off to Alex, who worked with our insurance company to figure out what and how we could rebuild. Irene and her team came and took our belongings out of the house, meticulously cataloged, and had them store. Then, Jesse, our project manager, handled all of the reconstruction seamlessly. He went above and beyond on many items, including when our countertop material was delayed. He talked to me on the phone while I was at home and he was at a showroom. He knew getting the house done quickly was our top priority, and he found a countertop we liked and that was available right away, saving us a delay. We want to give a special call out to Yuriy, too, who did a lot of the actual work on our house and made everything look better than it did before our disaster. I can't recommend Green State enough. We will be using them again when we are ready to do some renovations to the house, this time without a huge flood to start off with!

Stay. Away. Green…read moreState used an unregistered contractor for unlawful electrical and plumbing work, without pulling permits or having inspections, and then incorrectly told us they weren't needed. And that's just the beginning of our problems with them. We haven't been able to use our master shower in 7 months because they caused a leak just before Thanksgiving of 2025, and they haven't fixed it. Our Christmas photos have 3 large, beautiful holes in the ceiling, above our tree. And their contractor left our jetted tub in a hazardous state, without GFCI electrical protection, and we've been told not to use it for our own safety. You can see they've been cited for multiple issues - the state provides a tool to verify contractors, here: https://secure.lni.wa.gov/verify/ Their tile installer did extremely poor-quality work. Like jagged breaks in glass accents, wandering tile cuts, edge pieces not lining up, grout in the wrong places, and lots more. The account manager and project manager reviewed his work and said it was industry standard. Literally, they looked at this big, jagged piece of glass glopped in with grout (among tons of other problems, large and small) and told me it's industry standard work and they wouldn't fix it. Not joking. It makes more sense when you hear that: - the account manager is the son of the project manager, - the project manager hired his son-in-law for the tile work, - the son-in-law had been in business less than 6 months, So, he did bad work which they defended. There are actual industry standards, and I read them, and his work definitely doesn't meet them. And then, still, the tile guy installed the underlying waterproofing incorrectly. It's incomplete, it's incorrect, and it doesn't follow manufacturer instructions. He made our shower curb flat instead of angled to drain water, so we ended up with standing water, growing mildew, on top of incomplete waterproofing. The repair they proposed, I discovered, would have been incorrect and not manufacturer approved, too. And then Green State told us we'd have to pay to fix it some of it. They say they have a workmanship warranty, but they ignored requests to warranty their work. So, to recap, they hired an inexperienced in-law who did bad work, asked us to pay to fix their bad work, then refused their warranty. Then there's the hole into our attic they made around September 2025, told us was fixed multiple times, then come to find out they hadn't, so they finally fixed it at the end of January 2026. Or that they fabricated our new countertop wrong, so there's a gap between the side splash and the wall. Or that they didn't seal it with silicone either so water can go straight back to the wall... So, like I said: Stay. Away.
