I ordered their signature lamb shank noodles, lamb rib noodles, and the lamb tripe soup. The lamb shank and ribs were super tender, flavorful, and not gamey at all. The broth is rich and almost like a red-braised stew, though a bit on the salty side -- it would've been perfect with a Chinese sesame flatbread! The noodles themselves are basically instant noodles, nothing special I'm guessing they don't actually make hand-pulled noodles here. The lamb tripe soup has a slightly stronger lamb taste, but adding some cucumber and lemon helps balance it out. The flavor is quite unique -- not the clear broth style we get in China, but more of a saucy, braised type of soup. The tacos were surprisingly good, very close to what you get in Mexico. I tried beef, beef intestine, beef head, and pork tongue. The beef head was gelatinous and flavorful, and the intestine tasted great -- nicely seared, fragrant, bouncy, and absolutely no funky smell. Overall, it's a spot worth trying. Mexican flavors generally suit our palate well, but the noodle dishes are on the salty side, so having extra drinks definitely helps! read more

Wow, this place is amazing! At first, I didn't know what to expect because it is located in the cuts of Anaheim/Stanton in a little Korean strip mall. The restaurant is kind of like tucked away in the corner so it's not visible as soon as you enter but when you turn to the left, you can see it. You could tell that this place is brand spanking new. My husband saw it on Facebook and he was like where is this at? I need to go! And let me tell you, this was the first time he ever had this reaction to a food Facebook video. So naturally I found it , and we tried jThe sign was lit in a small humble place but there's enough seating for what the restaurant is. We browse the menu for a little bit and ended up ordering the Beard Ramen and the Bea combo plate which came with beans and rice. I tell you you can't go wrong with anything here. The food is spectacular. I even ordered a Carne Asada taco alongside my food and ate it and one thing about me is I never finish a food collector and I always take things home this time. There was nothing left to take home. Service is also top-notch here they want their name out there to get the business. They deserve. They offer you samples of their meats as soon as you walk in the establishment. I've never had a place to do that. No matter how new, they were. It's clean, it's cute so you can have your little IG food aesthetic post. This place has an ample amount of potential and I really hope that this place gets the foot traffic that they deserve. Give this place nine out of 10 stars I would, but I will give it five stars on behalf of my husband and myself because he is and he knows authentic Birria and he said this is it. I'm only docking one star because we both decided the thing that would take this place to the very top is handmade tortillas. That's the only thing they are missing. You are offered all the options for your menudo so you can choose how it comes. The flavor ran deeper than the Rio de Janeiro! The guys running it were very attentive and always hustling. Best tacos ever! I tried the cabeza, tripa, and buche. My brother loves the tripe so much: the meat had a crunchy crust to it. The cabeza was really juicy. And the buche was interesting and had a grainy texture to them. There's a salad bar with all the salsa and pickled veggies and toppings to top your dishes with. When I came here it was fairly empty, there was not rush or a lot of orders pending. Which leads me to my first complaint which is poor customer service. The moment we walked in there was no greeting, which I don't really care about too much but it was just an awkward moment while we were looking at the menu and the cashier was just standing there. After we ordered we got some of the food but not all of it. After some new customers went in and got their orders we went up to the front to ask about it. They forgot the order. We didn't get anything for them forgetting our order, not even an apology. Now the review for their food: Tried their ramen and sadly the photos you see are not accurate. Do not expect to get that nice piece of rib bone sticking out. It was the packaged ramen which was disappointing. But the Birria was good, not the best I've had but also not the worst. Their enchiladas were good, nothing notable. Sadly to say I will not be coming back here. I've tried many birria places such as Birrieria Guadalajara, La Super Birria, and other authentic birria places in the Santa Ana area, but this is by far my favorite. It's a mix of chivos and beef. The broth is rich, hearty, and does not have a gamey taste from many chivo birrias I've tried. They also give generous portions. The broth isn't as salty as many other birria places, but if you feel it is, the lime will balance out the saltiness. I personally think the broth is perfect. They have an amazing side of the chili oil that you can add it to make it spicy. But, be warned, it does have some heat! Another must order is the quesabirria. I would also rate it a 5/5. The meat was buttery, flavorful, and had a nice crisp from the grill. It was delicious! I really hope this place stays open because it really is a delicious place. read more
