We booked a reservation for a table and unlimited putting. We checked in and were advised it would be about 5-10 minutes while they buss a table- no problem! 30 minutes later, we watch another family get seated, questioned the host about it and his reply was "we will get you seated in 2-3 minutes, we need to buss a table." We asked to speak with a manager, was told "absolutely!" Yet no manager showed. We were sat at a table 12 minutes before our tee time, roughly 45 minutes after our table reservation time. Our waitress was amazing, but we asked about speaking with a manager and was told "I'll send them over"- yet no manager showed. We asked the host to push our tee time back due to the delay which he accommodated with no issues. The food is mediocre and options are limited. Their drink menu seemed to be full of options and the bar was packed, so I will assume the drink selection is what is outstanding here. I wouldn't bother with a reservation as it has no impact on when you will dine or play. read more

I decided to check this place out for my birthday with family and friends. I called on a Wednesday to ask if I would be refunded for any admission not used. The woman on the other line said I could be refunded for any unused slots. I purchased 12 and ended up using 10. I arrived that Sunday and we made our way to our course. When we arrived the ball machine was not working or out of balls? I'm honestly not sure. An employee was standing by it waiting for something. I step up when she instructs me to and our balls begin to dispens. At no point did the employee offer/allow me to enter my phone number to redeem my free birthday game. Once we were checked in there was so explanation on how this all worked. I understand it's mini golf and pretty self explanatory. What I was not told is that you do not need to play the holes in order and each player does not have to go in order. You can jump around and play out of order go ahead or behind your group. The lack of help and explanation was disappointing with all the customers and staff present. No signs posted that I saw. Once completed I made my way to the check in at the entrance to ask about next steps for my refund. I was told no refund would be given. A manager came out and said no refunds after 12 hours/day of. She was super unhelpful. Not a single employee I interacted with was friendly. I called my credit card company and they handled it for me. Kelsey - I appreciate you taking the time to read and write me back. I would love for you to make it right and provide me with two free games for my troubles. I'm sure you'll just glaze over this part and say "we'll pass this along to management". I know this is not the best service you have to provide. Do better. Thank you. read more

This was probably the worst managed putt putt golf/poorly ran business I've seen in a long time. I could probably write 5 paragraphs on how bad it was, from the un clear, misleading website to the horrible check in process going through 3 different sets of employees to "check in" to the actual playing experience and long lines and confusion from workers and customers, it was honestly a very bad experience. First and foremost, every single worker here was terrible, they all had attitude, treated us like we were dumb for not knowing how to navigate the "check in" process and it was very easy to tell that all of them hated their jobs. From the start, The website should clearly state that you are only playing 9 holes, the website literally says a cheesy line like "make sure to book two rounds, the first round is only a practice round" that's misleading, usually at putt putt place, a full round is 18, not 9.(The employee even said to book the extra round online and you'll get 50% off, which was not the case, we even looked online and the 2nd round is not 50% off???) Not sure why that isn't in there, maybe you guys should focus on properly communicating to your customers how it works and what you should expect instead of coming up with cheesy nicknames for things on the website like "the deets" instead of "details of the booking" when checking out lol. Next, when we walked in to check in, the employee said what color are you? And we said we don't know we are here to check in, then she says you had to check the board for what color we were, so we had to walk half way across the restaurant and sit and look at a screen for 5 minutes to see what color we were. Then we come back to the desk and tell her blue and she says we have to go upstairs to checkin (already too many steps) So we go upstairs and walk up to worker/desk #2 and tell her we want to check in and she asks if we have are registered online and we say no, then she says to go to another worker to check in (10 min after "tee time" at this point) Then to worker #3 upstairs, located to next to a dinner table with a family eating and a couple steps with waitresses and waiters walking through every 30 seconds, awkwardly waiting to check in (already looks so unprofessional and unorganized) she greets us and nonchalantly rushes through all the instructions and check in process in about 30 seconds, and we still have no clue how anything works cause she didn't explain anything, then we start asking questions on how all this works and she proceeds to tell us that the management is terrible and doesn't communicate anything to the employees and there's tons of confusion and chaos every day. We started playing and the first 4 holes went fast but then we had to wait for hole #5 for about 10 minutes because they literally let any of the guests play out of order so there were constant lines and people running around the whole place. The holes were extremely crammed and way too small for 9 holes. Putters were super cheap, You couldn't even fully putt because they had a wood block behind where you place the ball so it would hit your backswing every time lol. There was no way to order a drink, very unsafe with little table stands put in random places all over the place, it was complete chaos. There's honestly too much to list here on how bad this place was, it seemed like the owners or managers don't understand the customer experience or just simply don't care about it. Im not writing this as an unhappy customer because we tried to make the best of the situation while we were there, but I hope the manager or owner actually reads this because this is real constructive criticism on such a poorly run business, we were actually laughing at one point by how bad it was. read more

A few caveats: did not eat/order food, and we had been to another location prior to this (London). If you're coming here expecting to be amazed by craft cocktails or food, you're not in the right spot. This is putt putt first, everything else after. We made a reservation online, came in with 5ish min and our res was already available. Jumped onto the Amber course, Astrid was the waitress at hole 1 who was friendly and very quick to grab us a red bull and a cocktail. Surprised they did glass containers, but didn't matter much overall. We went after 7pm on a weekday, so there was some remnant company parties and larger groups, but it's 21+ after that time so it felt a bit more mature. Got held up a few times because of larger groups ahead, but got through the course in 45ish minutes. Booked the next round and played emerald, which was completely empty and we ended up finishing in 20-30 min. Lots of fun, diverse games at each hole. Overall, a few things to dock points over: 1-if you walk in the side entrance, it can be a little confusing about where to go/what to do. 2-in the other location, they had a screen that showed wait times for the various courses so you could game plan if you wanted to try and make a new res. Not knowing what it looked like upstairs, and having to wait at amber, could've been nice to go to a diff course so that we're not standing around 3-it's loud, so don't expect this to be a quiet, intimate experience 4-when you're booking, you don't get to pick course. One of the employees told us that you can change which course once you're called up to one, but knowing that that's an option beforehand would be better 5-the time between tee times of small vs big groups could be better regulated Overall, great location, good date night spot. If you've got a big group, just be conscientious of spacing and expectations! Would def recommend read more

We we're brought here for a business get together, and overall the experience was fine. I wouldn't say that I would recommend this place for that kind of function. The food was okay, drinks are okay. Staff was awesome, no issue there. It just didn't strike me as a business type venue. It seems much more of a venue that I would suggest for a birthday party, or family event. I didn't have food or drinks so I can only speak on the mini-golf experience. We came with reservations on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed with people, as expected. There are four different courses (two on the main floor and two on the second floor). I don't think you have a say in what course your party is assigned to. You are given a club and a golf ball that is electronically linked to you, then sent to the first hole. There is a screen on top of each hole that displays the players name and scores. You putt your ball, then move on to the next hole when everyone is done. It's a cool concept and the courses are creative, but everything was built too closely together and there is barely space to stand on. We bumped into other groups several times. Plus it was really awkward when our group was still playing and the group behind us was already crowding us, waiting their turn. It was not fun. On top of that, we had three technical difficulties during our game. One hole didn't register my putt and made me do a redo. Another hole wouldn't light up green to start my turn. The last hole completely froze on us, and an employee had to come and reset it. It took away from the fun. I honestly wouldn't come here again. It's kind of fun, but expect to book a minimum of 2 games ($14 per person, per game.) There are 9 holes on each course but there are lines on each hole so you are expected to move along pretty quickly. It also gets pretty crowded amongst the holes, so don't expect privacy with your group. The holes were pretty creative, but I guess my biggest disappointment is how short the holes are and packed in. Each hole is like 2 putts and you can move through a course in 10 minutes (maybe longer if you are waiting in line.) Overall it was a fun experience, but I dont think I need to go back. There was such a big hype about this place so I had to check it out. It was Saturday night, so it was packed as expected, but of course, I wanted to be there when it was popping! BAD idea. We had made reservations at 10:10, and while we were let in at that time by the front desk, we then had to go upstairs to wait in one of the lines for 30 minutes before we were given a putter and ball. Good thing we grabbed drinks from the bar upstairs before joining the line because although we were informed that there would be people taking/delivering our orders while we played. In the whole hour that we were doing 9 holes, we did not have a single server come through the area to take orders. The overall concept was neat, and with the music pumping it really felt like a club. There are 4 different courses (you don't get to chose which one you go to) and we got the ruby course. Our family recently visited Puttshack for the first time for our 6 yr olds birthday and had a great experience! We met one of the managers who was very nice and all of the other employees we encountered were friendly and helpful as well. The reservation system was a little confusing but they helped us to figure it out and we got in pretty fast. Our first course was on the first floor and was really fun but slightly crowded. For our second round, we went to a course upstairs and it was much less busy. We all enjoyed ourselves and definitely want to go back sometime. My only suggestion is that the computer giving feedback was quite rude. I could see how it would be funny with a group of adults, but for a little boy still figuring how to play mini golf hearing the computer say something like "What a string of bad luck" or "Yikes," was a bit disheartening. It would be great if there was a way to input that there was a child playing and have it adjust the audio accordingly. Otherwise, everything was great and the new technology in mini golf was super cool! Highly recommend! read more

This is not your average putt putt. It's so very unique. I've never been to a spot quite like it. They have very strict tee times because it's so popular that they need to keep the flow of the game going. Upon checking in, you're assigned one of four 9 hole courses. We were on the Amber course. Since this is no ordinary putt putt, we were explained the game. Your ball has a tracker in it, and it recognizes which player is putting. The best part is that it keeps score for you so you can simply focus on the game and have fun. You put all the way through your turn and actually want to earn points. The way you do that is by getting hole in ones. The best way to do that is by hitting Supertubes and avoiding the Hazards. Each hole was super unique (half pipe, drums, roulette, etc.). This was my first time, and I ended up getting four holes in one! It was one of the coolest putt putt experiences I've ever had. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other courses. read more

This place is quite possibly the biggest disappointment that I have come across in AZ. They must have offered huge discounts for 5 star reviews, since this place is garbage and feels like the ikea setup of mini golf yet they charge $50 per person for 18 holes despite the fact that half the holes are EXACTLY the same. Also the tech system kept glitching and not only did several holes not even register our scores, but they continuously had to get their tech team out to reboot the system which resulted in massive lines as well This place is legit a joke. read more

There was a DJ playing music, and so many AWESOME COOL courses to golf compared to any other I've been to which makes it 10x more fun! The food was meh at best. They say the bao comes with sriracha Mayo but they served it with plain as plain can be mayo...yuck. The Brussel sprouts were under cooked. The stools are INCREDIBLY dangerous. When I went to sit down it slipped out from under me not once but twice and then the same thing happened to my husband! For whatever reason they couldn't find my table reservation but were made sure to accommodate us, even though it was packed. I appreciate that since I did indeed have a reservation. Ambiance wise, it's cute. I like the concept a lot. But it's way too packed. Not just with people but also cramming the holes too close together. Space seems tight. The entrance looks like the patio sitting area but it's actually the entrance. The parking garage is right in front of this place so that's nice. The upstairs is less crowed but you don't get to pick where you golf. There is a bar upstairs and elevator to go up. There are 4 courses, 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs. Let's start with the good things, a new place to have a fun activity indoors in the Summer is a welcome addition to the valley. The creativity of the holes we played was really fun, but you only get to play 9 holes and they are all Hole-in-One possible and average 2 strokes per hole. There in lies the reason I cannot recommend this place. I do not remember the cost but it was on par with most putt putt places for expense, and therefore we assumed we got 18 holes of fun. You do not you get 9 holes that took our entire group including our 67 year old grandmother 20 minutes including check in to complete the course. Go to Pop Stroke take your time stop mid game have lunch finish your round, have some drinks and play some more holes for fun, skip this place unless you have a bottomless wallet and like toddler level putting challenges. We were so offended by the golf experience we left and ate and had drinks elsewhere. I think I liked this spot better when it was an American Girl store, at least my daughter did. read more

We did one of the courses and it was a lot of fun...wish it was longer. It only took us about 20 minutes and we took our time. The holes were very fun! DON'T waste your time on the food- overpriced, over seasoned and the service was non existent. We had to wait 30 minutes for a drink and when we got it, it was melted like it had been sitting at the bar for a long time. Never offered refills for our tea and sodas. I can overlook mediocre food if the service is good but it was horrific!!! Don't think we will ever come back. They tote as kid friendly but the wait time on food is certainly not great when you have kids. Cards on the table, you will have to wait. Especially during the peak times... we went on a Friday, got a couple of tables for my party of 12 with a reservation at 6pm for food and drinks. Seated in good time, maybe waited 5-7 mins. Wasn't TOO too busy at that time but progressively got busier. Obviously. I read the reviews the night before we were going and I almost wanted to cancel honestly. The reviews aren't great. There's a few good ones here and there but overall they aren't great. I persevered and hoped for the best. It was my birthday weekend and maybe the birthday gods would be in my favor. I don't know if that's true, but our server Tyler (I think, it was loud in there) was pretty great. Again there was 12 of US and he had other tables of multiple guests. Sure there are hiccups and waits but consider the amount of volume he has. It's gonna take time. And considering all that, he did really well. (Always room for improvement but for how busy the night was, it was still great) the food was good from what we had. Some elevated basics but tasty. I dunno. It's not about the food really lol. The line just to get your gang going and getting your club and ball did take quite some time as many of the other reviews states. Part of our problem I think was the girl was not trained all the way and couldn't log in herself. Besides that the first hole is right where you get your ball and club so that's additional time you have to wait and again.... We're a party of 12. Our tee time was already pushed back due to how busy they were but again, I knew that from reading the reviews the night before. I embraced the knowledge and just went with it. Not everyone in my group was as patient but when we finally got to actually play, roughly an hour or so after our initial tee time, it was actually pretty interesting and dare I say, FUN! I would totally appreciate more courses/holes because 9 goes by way too fast. Even with our group. Sorry to the couple(2) behind us lol. Also I have to mention the a lot of reviews complained about not having drink service or not seeing anyone that worked there. We DID have drink service so thank you birthday gods and thank you, Taylor?! Omg having a blank all of a sudden but we did get drinks, again keep in mind they are slammed and doing their best. She was kind and helpful and brought us drinks. Thumbs up. So to sum up my memoirs over here LOL... They are a new business, obviously still working out the kinks. It's hot and their air is working but it's also working overtime with all of those extra bodies and the consistent 115°+ for weeks. It's going to take time to find their rhythm but for what's happening, at least I'm my eyes, it's not too shabby. Maybe don't show up (we had prepaid reservations) on a busy night with 12 people, that's my bad. I was sure to thank our server and our drink attendant by name because they are people too. It's really small and crowded - having two different 9-hole courses next to each other You make a reservation, pay decent money for each player, and get 9-holes that you finish 5 minutes and that's all. Came here one night when my cousins were in town to have a fun night playing some mini putt golf. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance because if you show up just for a walk in, especially on a busy night, they typically do not have times available When you are wanting. We did sit down and have dinner while we were waiting for our putting time to come up and they had a good selection of food as well as some fun drinks. I tried the drink where they make a smoke bubble on top of the martini glass so that was fun to see, be sure to pull out your phone! One downside was that the entire upstairs was closed due to some problems they were having with the game so the downstairs was very crowded but by the time we were up to golf, they actually opened it up so it was nice so we didn't have to wait as long between holes. Again, we will definitely be back, but recommend making a reservation in advance. read more

Where do I start. Like most, got there 20 min before our reservation and had to wait until 20 minutes passed our reservation. No big deal. We ask to sit and eat in the empty dinning room and we can't because we have to people under 21. It's 6:30 on a Monday (holiday Monday but still a Monday). We get a table for 4 and have to remind the server for our drinks. She admits to not putting in some of our order. Her and her coworker stand at the bar more than working because there are maybe 4 tables in use. Maybe 6. FYI, we tried making dinner reservations and they online help said it was full. Manager ends up telling us that it's because of staffing issues. Our name comes up we go to check in after we checked in after our greeter tells us to check in. (Read all the other comments, there is a lot of checking in to this check in process). It tell us to go to yellow so we go. The lady there doesn't communicate at all. Never greets us. Doesn't even look at us. Someone in our party asks her to take a picture and she does. Then someone asks what do we do. She says we have to wait because they are out of balls. There are now 15-20 people behind us. No one is communicating at all. I start telling people they are out of balls and we have to wait for people to finish. Someone from our party says do we get a putter? She says yes. Again, no signs, no communication. I finally had it and I say something like can you communicate with us? Can you smile? Can you tell us what's going on? Can you tell the rest of the people that have been called to yellow what is going on? Her response is priceless, "I've been here all night. I don't care." That was it I head over to ask for a manager. As I come back and wait for a manager there is another employee who is now re routing everyone to different courses. I tell him what was said he was like so what. I don't think he understood what was going on and was on a mission to handle the chaos. And he did. Talking to the manager was worthless. He sent us to another course that had no wait and waited another 25 minutes. He gave us 12 free game cards to come back, 2 a piece. Problem is the way he handled it was the last straw. I'm not coming back. We shoes up at 6:30 for a 7pm tee time. Got on the course at 8pm. Course is pretty cool to play but dirty and not one time did we get served. We played six holes before the server cleaned off the tables and never once asked us to place an order. Terrible service. In my opinion this place was as busy as others had claimed. Logistically it was a nightmare. When we come down to leave the first manager asks how it was. I said we waited a long time to play and his suggestion did not work out at all. He just kept saying everything was just wrong tonight. Very similar to the rest of the complaints. This is when it got worse. A second manager Alex comes up to listen and seems irritated. I ask him if he is the GM and he says no but he is also a manager. Then asks what happened. I start to tell him and the first manager says this is the one I was talking to you about. Alex without making eye contact rolls his eyes and said we didn't do anything right tonight. Good bye and walks off. It was just awful. Even as I read these other comments the response from the owner is so generic and very similar to the ones before. Horrible customer service, horrible leadership, and the logistics to get started are a nightmare. Proceed with caution. read more
