I ordered my puzzle on April 12th. Website said it was available, which is why I ordered. Later got an email that said that their website was messed up, and they didn't actually have the puzzle and it would be 6 weeks or so. I was annoyed, but thought whatever, I can wait. I sent some emails for follow up, and never got a response. Today, June 30th, I followed up. They told me it would be another month before they got it in from their manufacturer. So, basically 6 months to get a puzzle. I cancelled. Customer support was nice, and handled the issue, but this company is clearly incompetent. I would go somewhere else. read more

I understand that the current outbreak is throwing a wrench in a lot of online ordering systems... however, the puzzle I tried to order said it was available and only after I entered payment and shipping info did I get an alert saying the puzzle was out of stock. It also stated that they weren't able to give an estimate on when it'd be back in stock and in the meantime, I would still be fully charged for my order. I was then directed to a webpage where I could "manually" cancel my order which was a complete joke. First I had to create an account and then when I finally went to log in and cancel my order, it kept telling me my password (that I had just created) was incorrect. The link that was emailed to reset my password was bogus and did not work and I'm still currently unable to log in. This website is a joke. read more

I received a used puzzle. The box was wrapped in plastic like a new one. The pieces were in a sealed bag, but one which must have been resealed. The puzzle had been pulled apart. There were some pieces that were bent in the middle at a thin part, some were twisted just a little and no longer laid flat and others had the picture part lifted from the edges. I ordered from Puzzle Warehouse with overnight shipping. Unfortunately, the item did not arrive on time. However, FEDEX is willing to refund the shipping costs under its Money Back Guarantee, if only Puzzle Warehouse was willing to help process the claim and pass the refund on to me. However, they made it clear that they had no interest in helping out. It wouldn't cost them any money to do so. It's not what I would call Customer Service. read more

Ordered puzzles on Dec. 12th for Christmas with guaranteed delivery. On Dec. 19, I called to check on the order and was told it would ship on the 21st and that it was 'not possible' to break up the order for shipping. On the 24th of December, I called again and was told that they were still holding the 5 items they had in stock to wait for one that was backordered. So much for delivery by Christmas guarantee. I tried to support a local, small business and ended up cancelling the order to order through Amazon instead. I could have done that a few days earlier and actually received my order. No brains at puzzlewarehouse it seems to consider sending what they had and notifying me of backordered product. Maybe the management needs to do more puzzles to learn problem solving skills to keep orders coming in, keeping them and having happy clients who want to come back. They advertise free shipping to Alaska but when it doesn't work and you call they make all kinds of excuses. First it was no PO Boxes so I changed it to a street address and then the shipping was even higher. A customer service rep hung up on me and when I called back and asked for a supervisor I was told I would get to speak to one directly and got voice mail. I am now on hold again and will just keep calling until I get what they advertised which is free shipping to Alaska if you spend $75 or more. read more

I recently received a puzzle that was missing a piece from Puzzle Warehouse. When I contacted them, I was told I had two options: 1. Receive a 50% refund that I could use on a puzzle that I must purchase from them, or 2. Receive a 20% refund on my credit card. When I pointed out that I would like the puzzle replaced - they turned me down flat. I used to purchase from Puzzle Warehouse all the time - at one point they were the best place to purchase puzzles on the Internet - but no more. Not only has their customer service gone downhill, but they do a terrible job at packaging their puzzles, and I have had several arrive damaged due to the LACK of packaging materials they put in the box. Additionally, there are a LOT more jigsaw puzzle storefronts on the Internet now, carrying a lot of brands that Puzzle Warehouse does not carry, and with a lot better packaging - so I choose to shop with their competitors. Puzzle Warehouse really needs to take a good look at the marketplace and up their game, or they will find themselves with a fraction of the customers they once had. read more

I have been a customer of puzzle warehouse for six years and have two subscriptions for puzzle of the month. I recently had a terrible experience with customer service and found them to be completely lacking. I had an issue with my debit card, it was compromised. I received notification via email that they had trouble with my card and contacted them the next day to have my account updated. Both of my accounts expired within one month. When I provided them with my new card my membership amount changed from $99-$159. They indicated the increase was because my membership had expired a month ago however I received no notification for this when I indicated that I was told it was not their problem. I spoke to a manager who is then rude and obnoxious, her name was Allee. I called back and asked to speak with someone else but no other managers were available so I left a message and a voicemail and never received a call back. Apparently they do not concern themselves with the support they provide to loyal customers. This resulted in me canceling both memberships and I will not do business with them again. During these times I would expect customer service to be at its best and insteadHave been consistently disappointed. read more

My mistake was not reading their Yelp review before I placed the order. Do not buy from them if you don't want to risk going through the same frustration and confrontation I had to go through. In short: Products were sent to wrong city and then returned to sender, and never made it to me; the request to have items resent to me was first ignored and then rejected; refund was not processed until asked about; customer service philosophy was arrogant, defensive and unfriendly. No intention to help or sign of empathy was shown. Problem was never solved despite multiple attempts to communicate via different channels. Details: I ordered 5 puzzles before Dec with their Black Friday deal. The products were shown shipped and never arrived in the City on the correct shipping address. It was then returned to the sender without my authorization. When I discovered this I emailed their customer service, and the response I got was that it was FedEx's fault, and I have already been refunded. The fishy part is, the returned items had been with the company for a while by then, but not until I emailed them did they actually refund my PayPal. I wrote back again saying I would still want the products, and wanted to get some more information on the mysterious mis-delivery. I was greeted with a plain and cold response saying if I want to get any information regarding the details, I need to contact FedEx myself, and my inquiry to get the order replaced was simply ignored. Anyone with experiences shipping through any carrier would know that the recipients normally do not have any more access than what the tracking page shows. If anyone wants to get more information, it is normally more plausible from the sender's side. Additionally, the carrier was chosen by the seller, I would naturally think if anything went wrong in the delivery when the customer provided the correct address, understandably, whether the issue results from the seller's side or the carrier's side, it would be less feasible nor reasonable for the customer to try to figure things out then the seller. I have been on both sides of this. As a customer I was never told to contact the carrier for missing orders, as a seller I never told my customers to deal with the carrier for missing orders that was shipped to the wrong address. I guess by the Puzzle Warehouse's standard I have just been lucky. I did not think the email correspondence was efficient anymore, so I called their customer service number. A different person than the one I have been emailing with answered. The interactions were semi professional, and the responses I got was equally defensive and cold. Maybe they can or cannot get more information from FedEx, but there was not an ounce of gesture to even do anything regarding this failed order. At one point, I almost felt as if he was hinting that it is my fault I never received the product and they are not inclined to help at all. I requested again to have the order replaced, noting that if I simply repurchase again on their website I would be paying more since I would lose all the Black Friday discounts that I rightly secured last time. All I got was that the only option is for me to order them again on the website for full prices if I want to. When I felt like the conversation got condescending from their side, I requested to talk to someone else, I was told that the only other person I could talk to is the one I emailed with, after I clearly showed frustration regarding the emails. What's more interesting is that, the staff on the phone found it necessary to tell me that person on the email, quote, "is a very big senior manager". Forgive me but I'm lost on whatever effect that was supposed to have. Do I have to have those puzzles? Maybe, but surely not from this company and never in the future. read more

What an awesome find (Thanks Yelpers)! I came here to buy puzzles for the little kiddos I work with, and found EXACTLY what I was looking for. This place is HUGE and is FILLED with tons of puzzles and it is organized so nicely! If you cannot find something just ask one of the super friendly puzzle-loving staff members and they will be able to locate the item for you within minutes. This place is great for teachers (or those in education) because it has a very wide selection of children's puzzles and games. I cannot wait to return here and get more classroom materials. They also have more complex puzzles for adults. Overall great place with great puzzles and great service! My only complaint would be that the puzzles are kind of expensive. A local company that is also National (online). What a great store in Kirkwood despite the awkward location. Make no mistake though as the name states this is all about Puzzles. Again the location is odd, you do have to exit big bend at 44 near the Sams club and head south on Big Bend one light. Then turn left heading East until you wind your way over Hwy 44 again. This place is Amazing... if you love puzzles like my family does. I could spend hours here. They have just about any themed puzzle you could want. From Thousands of pieces to simple puzzles for kids. They have make your own puzzles if you bring in a picture and also a number of "clever" games/puzzles. If they don't have what you are looking for they will find it for you. Trying to clean up my review queues and this place immediately jumped at me. I went there a lot during my puzzle phase. (I'm just cool like that.....lol) It's amazing what an amazing variety of puzzles they carry. From simple ones for the kids to large ones that can cover a wall and 3D puzzles and all the way to other non-puzzle games. They also have other related merchandises like puzzle glue and puzzle table for you hardcore puzzle fans. The location is definitely weird, I had to really follow my GPS the first time. But once you know where it is, there's no problem finding it. read more

I like most others here ordered 2 jigsaw puzzles on their website on April 1, 2020. Today being May 13 and I still have not received one of them - I did actually get the one mailed the day after the first one yesterday. For the amount of $56.00 for these 2 puzzles I could have and should have ordered from Amazon or Walmart. At least I would have got both of them by now. When I ordered I ticked the box that says only ones in stock but as soon as I placed my order and paid I get an email saying one of them is not in stock and would be backordered. I expected that the one in stock would be sent but no. So its 6 weeks and I am still waiting for one of these puzzles. From kids puzzles all the way up to 3000 piece and 3-D puzzles, this store has it all. There is also an impressive separate room with tons of games to choose from. I bought a 1000 piece puzzle of a Seurat painting that will keep me occupied for the next month. It's very tough. It was priced $15 which seemed kind of high to me given that it's a 'warehouse'. Not the friendliest of staff - they weren't necessarily rude, but no one greeted us or offered to help us find what we were looking for. They have a retail section in the front and a warehouse in the back, which is where the employees were working. If you need help or are at the register you have to ring a doorbell to get assistance. This place has the biggest selection of puzzles I have come across. If you're used to purchasing from Wal-mart's selection of puzzles, I sincerely suggest you go here. What harm will a visit do? There are puzzles here that I didn't even know existed. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well, and are always willing to explain how some of the weird games work, or the wooden puzzles work. I did buy a puzzle from here and it had a few missing pieces, which annoyed me... but then I called up Puzzle Warehouse and they gave me the contact information for the manufacturer! The manufacturer was able to send me out a new puzzle to replace the one with the missing pieces. I will definitely go back. read more

My first experience with Puzzle Warehouse has been a terrible experience. I was give a gift of the puzzle of the month club. The first two puzzles shipped and it is now 14 business days and still no puzzles. My second call to customer service has ended with "shipment is probably lost in handoff" so we can ship one puzzle again, don't have the other one in stock and it will take another 9 business days to receive. Little empathy, just that's the way it happens some times. "Things get lost". read more

Wow, wow, wow. There are SO MANY PUZZLES here! There's a huge variety of sizes, shapes, themes, and more. Not just your traditional puzzles. There were tile puzzles, wooden puzzles, and so much more. If you've never been here before, make sure you allow yourself 45-60mins to browse all the aisles and see everything they have. The staff were very friendly and happy to help. We will definitely be returning when we're ready for our next puzzle! Oh! And make sure to head to the back left corner of the store to see their huge 24,000 piece puzzle!!! read more

This was a birthday gift they claimed they could fulfill on time but were not able to; so I ordered the same puzzle from Amazon and it was here on time. Great selection of puzzles, but customer service is awful. I was having a problem with the delivery system - a branch of FedEx that "eventually" delivers to our PO Box. Puzzle Warehouse customer service just lectured me on how delivery works. I had to ask repeatedly for a manager. The rep. argued with me at every request. I was finally transferred to a manager's voice mail, which cut me off before I could give my name and number. It did work the second time. Now I'm waiting for a call back. The original problem was that the Fed Ex tracking kept extending the delivery date. I thought Puzzle Warehouse would like to know if customers had trouble getting their packages.
