I made an appointment with Maggie and although it was my first time seeing her, it felt like I had been going to her for years. She was so patient and helpful and put a lot of thought into what she thought would be best for me and my hair. She gave me soooo many tips and suggestions that I had never thought of trying. My hair has changed a lot after having kids so I have felt overwhelmed and a little lost as to what to do with it, but Maggie managed to give me the exact look I wanted and tips on how to manage it. Now, we all know it feels great to walk out of a salon with a fresh cut that looks amazing, but I am always a little hesitant to get too excited because I find myself thinking "What is this going to look like when I do it myself?" But after seeing Maggie, for the first time in my life, I got a haircut that not only looked great on the first day, but also on the second day, and when I let it dry naturally, and also when I tried to style it myself! I am honestly soooo pleased with this haircut. It was such a great experience for so many reasons. I haven't worn my hair down for years because I just never have time to do it, or it never looks right, etc. but since I saw Maggie I have worn it down almost every day and have gotten so many compliments. Which also never happens to me after I get a haircut! If you have young kids you know it's so easy to get in a rut and just kind of give up on putting any effort into what you look like but let me tell you, it is AMAZING what a good haircut can do for you!! Maggie is a perfectionist and has wonderful suggestions. All of her hair color products are natural. I no longer need to sit in a salon breathing toxic fumes and have an itching/burning scalp. She genuinely wants her clients to love their hair and over the last 6 months she has given me advice on products, a fairly inexpensive hair dryer (salon perfection), and general pointers that are invaluable. Instead she & her assistant over processed my hair by leaving me sitting and waiting for an hour. I called that evening to speak to Stephanie but no one answered so I left a voicemail. She didn't bother to return my call! Instead she texted me! How unprofessional! I called the next morning and the receptionist told me Stephanie was too busy that's why she didn't call me, which is ridiculous! Your receptionist never contacted me, I called the next morning myself after I saw your text. You have never called my phone nor has the receptionist. I had to call you all. I told the receptionist the assistant didn't follow the 20 mins off and 20 mins on for the haircap. She left me sitting there for about 20 mins before she turned the time on. Put the cap on and set the timer. Followed by taking the cap off and setting the timer again for 20 mins! She also failed to leave me with the toner for an additional 5 minutes like Stephanie told her. She over processed bleach and under processed toner. So my hair looks terrible on the top of my head! I can't even run my finger through my hair not to mention some of my hair strands are white and not blonde!!! Stephanie if your assistant doesn't understand how important processing time is maybe it's time to teach her! I will never return and I don't recommend your Salon! You are very unprofessional! Offering to give me a deep hair treatment will not fix over processed brassy hair! Next time have some sense and call your client back! By the way I paid $440 for my hair! FYI by the way years ago she bargained prices so that's how it use to work Stephanie. I see things have changed! But the quality of service has gone down. The picture you took of my hair was a small shot. You never even sent me the pics which I asked for. You wanted to me to leave. Let's not talk about the choppy haircut you gave me to hide the broken hair. Not taking accountability or even caring for your clients is a terrible way to run your business.

What I love about her is the fact that she took her time checking my hair, how to achieve the color I want and the haircut I was aiming for. She did a hair test first before applying color all over my hair which all salons should really do first. Then she explained every process and how long will it take. She took her time doing my Color and Keratin treatment. After 4 hours... I so love the end result and will definitely be back.

I also needed my roots touched up so I agreed to call and set up and appt. I had to reschedule my first appointment because my day off got switched at work... She was able to fit me in on a Saturday after I got off work, which would put her past the time she normally worked and I was very greatful! When I got there, I showed her the picture of what I wanted. The same picture I used to get the the color I was currently at, which was not far off. It just had a little more brassy tone than I wanted. After showing her the picture she asked if wanted to cut any of it. I said yes a little. We agreed to right at my breast (my hair was almost at my butt) She cut it across real quick and I was happy with the length. She gave her assistant mixing instructions and then started coloring my hair. As she was coloring it, she said what I'm doing is just starting over. I said ok... as I believed she was just re-foiling the hair (in the same colors , the color in the picture). As she put all these foils in I could estimate this was going to be a full foil price. Not what I agreed to but if she was going to make it look great, I was ok with it. Long story short... She ended up going a whole different route with the color. It pulled super ashy to the point it looks grey/silver/green in most lighting. I don't know why in the salon lighting you couldn't see it but as soon as I walked out side, I could see it and it got worse as the day went on. On top of that when she went in to finish up the cut, you know just clean it up, since she already cut the length to where I wanted it.. She ended up cutting several more inches off and adding tons of layers. Basically a sag cut. Which would have been great if that was what I wanted! She chopped my hair off and didn't even ask! My hair went from all the way down my back, to touching my shoulders. Ladies we all know, when you have your hair long and you don't have any intentions of going short how you feel when someone takes it upon themselves to cut all your hair off! You think that's the end of this story? Then wait for the bill! $485.00 BEFORE TIP! WHY???? YOU ASK? WELL apparently I needed two things of gloss at $55 each on top of the $290 for cut and foil... I also needed another color I didn't know I needed for $95 and then I needed extra product for $20. I went from just remove the brassy and do my roots... To ending up going home with all my hair cut off, an ash gone wild hair color I didn't know I wanted. AND ALL THAT GLOSS I PAID FOR!?!! IDK HIDING BEHIND THE ASH? Is going to get fixed you ask??? Sorry she isn't available any of the days I'm off for the next several weeks and she closes at 5 pm every day so that's not happening. If I came in to her salon and said , I have no clue what I want, I want you to just do whatever YOU want oh and money is no object!..Well then I got what I asked for. But this was not the case.
