2nd time here in as many days and they didn't disappoint. The Meatballs are incredible with the focaccia bread and Mike was incredible with recommendations. Will continue to comeback and keep trying new things on menu. Great vibe, great playlist and great food.

What a nice place! I really enjoyed the decor here. It feels more upscale, but pricing is affordable for the quality food they offer. We had a vegan person in our group and they were so happy to see there were vegan pizza options. We showed up a half an hour before the restaurant closed but our server was wonderful and never rushed us. There were some TVs around the room making it seem like a good place to watch sports too. I'll definitely come back!

I've driven by PV Pie and Wine so many times and was excited to finally have the opportunity to stop in for dinner. I came in with a group of 4 on a Sunday evening around 530pm. They weren't very busy, and we were seated quickly. I really liked the modern-ish decor here, and they also had TVs on with sports playing on them. I tried the hummus board which was pretty good, I really enjoyed the house made pita bread that came with it. The honey was also a nice touch. For my entree, I decided to be brave and try the pizza of the month, which happened to be some kind of Chicago style hotdog pizza. It was definitely interesting... and it worked, but I'm not sure if I'd order it again. My friends ordered the magic mushrooms pizza which was really delicious. I would come back here and try something else another time.

I really enjoyed my experience at PV Pie & Wine. And it could have been very different but I attribute this all to Mason -- the best bartender/server!! He was totally tuned in to providing the best service -- despite that their internet was down the night we came in (Sunday -- luckily for them!) and they could only take cash or an old school manual imprint of your credit card with a NCR invoice, LOL. That must have been frustrating but Mason never showed any annoyance or anything! My friend and I are very difficult to wait on too -- so Mason should get a gold medal! My friend is a "mea-gan" -- a meat eater who doesn't do dairy but eats meat, and I am a vegetarian -- no meat but love cheese!! Initially we ordered the Brussel sprouts but turns out they were out (could have been another negative!!) So....we decided the hummus board to start. Then we proceeded to order a very complex half meat/no cheese and half veggie with cheese pizza. Mason was so smart because half way through the hummus board and fries (oh yah we ordered some fries too -- we were hangry!!) we decided we were full, and oh lord we had this entire pizza coming... but thanks to Mason's smarts he hadn't fired the pizza yet! We were so glad because we were so done. I will definitely be back to try the pizza -- and take more pictures -- I was in the middle of catching up with my friend that I realized I only took one pic as we were entering -- and it's not very good, LOL.

Stopped in yesterday for a work lunch. Promptly greeted and seated. I ordered the lasagna bolognese and it was a very filling and flavorful dish. Our server was great at making sure the meal was great and drinks were refilled. Great atmosphere

I remember getting a coupon in the mail years ago when PV Pie and Wine opened. It took me years to finally go there, and now I have been there like 4 times in a few months. They have good small plate Happy Hour options from opening to 6pm, weekdays only I think. The space is very open and beautiful. The food is good. Turns out that brussel sprouts are now one of my favorite veggies, and theirs are really good, with some pork belly I think it is. Aaand, for the first time this week I tried their desserts, and... I shouldn't have... the lemon cheesecake was tasty and fluffy, and the coconut cream dessert was really good as well. I think my second favorite is the kale salad... Oh, the shishito peppers are awesome too! There is parking all around the building. Service has been between blah to OK... I shall update if the service experience improves.

I really enjoyed the Kale rustico salad and my fiancé loved his short rib melt. I'd come back just for this salad. I do wish they had a larger pizza menu- none of the pizza options really stood out to me.

I had been to PV Pie several times. About four months ago I had a bad experience and wrote a bad review which was responded to and then I removed the review. Went back today (4 months later) and it seems there have been some positive changes going on here. Service was better than ever. Food was fantastic. Fresh and new menu items. Great atmosphere to enjoy good food. Happy hour was happy for me. Just what I needed.

Honestly, I don't know what all the hype is about this place. My friend and I pass by here daily. The parking lot is always full. Finally I said lets try it, we came here 2 time for the weekend Happy Hour, sitting at the bar both times. Both times the bartender couldn't be more unfriendly, no hello, no what can I get you. He put down the menus and immediately walked away. We had to get his attention to order both times. To note: he was very friendly to the regulars that sat at the bar. The 2 times we went we had Peachy Keen, Bottomless Mimosas and Beers. We also tried the Meat Me and the My Margarita Pizzas along with a Crab and Shrimp Cerviche. The best item that we liked was the Margarita Pizza and then again it's really not a pizza, it's more like a flat bread pizza which seems to be the trendy item these days. The Meat Pizza was overdone (see photo) and the Ceviche was OK. I'm glad we tried this place, so now I can take it off my list. Atmosphere: nice, bright and trendy. Service: OK from the bar area. Food: OK.

The pie we had was amazing. Best ever. I said I liked the Go Green but it did not have red sauce so our waiter said they could add it. The wine was great. We rarely have dessert but tonight we had the special - it was flan with berries. I could have this every visit. The restaurant was warm and inviting. Our waiter Brett made it feel like we had been coming here for years and it was our first visit. It felt upscale, warm and inviting - all at the same time. We will be back the next time we are in this area. The manager Justin stopped by the table to check on our service. He was warm and personable. I felt like we had the opportunity to visit with an old friend, It was a perfect evening and we are so glad we selected Pie & Wine.

I recall visiting this location when it was the Covenant though have only been to PV Pie & Wine a few times since it changed. I believe it may still have the same owner and be tied to O.H.S.O. Last night, my wife and I joined two friends for dinner. We made a reservation on the phone, which I didn't know we could do, but it turned it it wasn't needed as there were plenty of open tables at the restaurant. The service and food were good, and it seemed like a fun atmosphere where you could sit at a table, a booth, or a bar. Our server was Bree, and she was great! She created good rapport and wanted to share in the stories about our dogs. She answered all of our questions and made good recommendations. She also gave us a "Free Pizza Punchcard" where you get a free pizza after buying five entrees or pizzas; she also gave us a $5 off your next visit card. My wife and I shared a Trust Us pizza, which consisted of house white sauce, four cheese blend, mushrooms, spinach, and caramelized red onion (though we left off the mushrooms). Our friends ordered the Magic Mushroom, made with garlic oil, four cheese blend, roasted mushroom, ricotta, truffle honey, and parsley. We all thought our pizzas were unique and very tasty. We could have ordered more food, but we wanted to save room for dessert. My wife and I shared a flourless chocolate cake with seasonal fruit compote, and our friends ordered the seasonal pie (by Pie Snob) which was a caramel apple pie. My wife and I loved the cake, which was decadent and chocolatey. Our friends enjoyed their pie, though they were surprised there were nuts in it without warning, but thankfully they didn't have nut allergies. Their happy hour is weekdays from open until 6 PM with $6 beers (all draft beers) and $8 wine and cocktails (all wines by the glass and specialty cocktails). From 3-6 PM on weekdays, there are $7 food specials. Other specials include the $15 half salad and half pizza (weekdays 11 AM-3 PM), $19 bottomless bubbles (10 AM-3 PM daily), the $35 pizza and a bottle of wine special (Mondays and Tuesdays). I live around the corner and have never been here. Came in by myself...sat at the bar and used a coupon. Staff masked up and some others seated. Food was great... had the green pizza with red sauce and two IPA beers... perfect lunch and great service! I'll definitely return!! read more

Happy to have found myself in north Scottsdale with a large number restaurants to choose from. The lunch deal was hard to pass up, given I had never been here. The gluten free pizza was great!! We loved PV Pie & Wine. We ordered takeout so didn't sample the wine but the pizzas were fantastic. We ordered a couple of their pizzas with cauliflower crust and it was some of the best crust we've ever had. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area again. read more

Happy Mother's Day!! Not. My mother in law wanted to try something new in our area so this was our pick. Bad idea. Now I know Mother's Day is a very busy time for brunch at restaurants, but the staff here front and back of the house seemed very unprepared, understaffed, untrained and just no sense of urgency plus bad attitudes. We were the 5th table to be sat with 10 of us at opening 10am. Water was brought out with 3 kids waters, after the waitress took drink orders my mother in law asked "may we please have some straws" her response was "as you can see we are very busy and you guys need to be patient. Great response. As for food apps were ok the Brussels sprouts were not cooked long enough and was very chewy. Kids pizza came out first and the rest of entrees came out over 30 minutes after. Given we ordered all entrees together and the order was taken 5 minutes after we finished eating the apps which made for a long wait for our food to trickle out to the table piece by piece. People done eating while others get their food makes for bad timing. Managers, no managers in sight. You would think on a busy day like this a manager would be on the floor grooming customers asking how everything is going, small talk here and there, making sure expediting of food and drinks are going smoothly, helping out servers who are in the weeds, maybe Happy Mother's Day! Not! The person I made out to be the manager was just standing in the corner with his head in the clouds. Unprepared for the rush I put that on management. Asked for silverware and was told "as you can see we are very busy and don't have enough silverware to just hand out" and same goes for the glassware for champagne flutes was told they had none left. What?!?! You guys just opened up shop. unreal As for food quality the food was very bland. Need salt. My gochu burger and my wife's green chili burger was lacking seasoning. Kids pizza was burnt on the bottom. Everyone else said food was bland. 1 star for food presentation. Other than that our experience was not worth $220. Happy Mother's Day!! NOT read more

Went for dinner , no wait for a table. Ordered meatball appetizer, good a little spicy. We then ordered 2 pizzas. Food was quick, fresh and hot. The pizzas were good. The is owned by OHSO next door. It was The Covenant restaurant which had this huge beautiful bar in the center which is gone now. It was good, I actually liked the trust us pizza more, lots more flavor. read more

Been coming here for years and can't say enough positive things about the place. Brett and the rest of the staff are Amazing. They will treat you right. The food is great and the drinks are perfect. Don't listen to "Carol" on the one star post that was left here. She is known here as one of the most annoying patrons and butts in to everyone's conversations at the bar and I'm sure if Brett wasn't giving her full attention she got annoyed thus the horrible rating. Ignore the rating as it is just an attention hungry person lashing out. read more

I went for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised by the food. They have a lunch combo that is a half salad and half pizza for $13. Strawberry goat cheese salad was delicious and paradise pie was pretty good. They serve Pie Snob slices for dessert! I will definitely be back. Great service! read more

Wife and I went for a rare date-night. This is a terrific restaurant. Food was really good with a good cocktail, wine, & beer selection. The staff are super friendly and there when you need them...not when you don't. It's a bit on the pricier end but was worth it. We will return if/when we can get another night away. Yelp used to call the 1 star review "Eek, me thinks not!", spot on for how I feel about PV Pie & Wine now. Accumulated filth is unacceptable, which I'll describe later. They kept the temp at about 90 degrees, so that even the icy cold drinks in their Streets of New York-reminiscent huge plastic cups didn't cool me off. The people seated at the next table walked out saying it was too hot. I was in a booth against the windows and kept feeling hot air blowing on my back. I look around to see where it's coming from and notice the upholstery on my seat back is encrusted with about a quarter inch of accumulated filth. It was right against my head and shoulders, and that blowing hot air was blowing it in my face and food. I've posted a picture of it with this review. "Eek, me thinks not!" indeed. read more

My first Yelp review...I don't take this stuff lightly. Eight of us at a family dinner on a Sunday night. No joke, and we all agreed, it was the absolute worst restaurant experience any of us have ever had. I started typing details but it would take too long and maybe not seem so believable. Only detail I will provide is assistant manager Zack is brutally bad, offensively so. I have had conversations with the the lead representative at pv pie and also at Ohso corporate. They have been great but there has been no satisfactory resolution over a week later. I won't go back and will discourage my friends, clients etc from going there as well. It's too bad - had to write this place off our list - maybe you should too. read more

Decent food. Weird pizza box that is way oversized for their pizza. Service has been fine, no complaints. I love the decor inside. The patio is a miss because it is on the south side. I would have preferred it on the east side, but I'm sure the lot owners didn't want that so it's not their fault. read more

Just got 2 lg pizzas for a get together, pd almost 35$. EXTREMELY small rectangular pizzas. Together, maybe the size of a large pizza anywhere else. Now going to Il Capo for the REAL deal. Live and learn. read more

We did not enjoy the food - it really had no flavor, the pizza crust is not freshly made in house and the sauce has no seasonings. The chicken sandwich had the smallest piece of chicken and there was too much bread (and the bread was very good). The salad was drowning in dressing - like they were trying to hide the quality of the vegetables. read more

They have hit it out of the box with their menu and selection. We've only just been here once and fell in love with it. Will def be regulars. To Harris H who wrote them a negative review: every server and kitchen staff is wearing a mask and when I asked the manager he said that mask wearing is strictly enforced. The kitchen is an open layout so you can see not only the food prep but also that they are all wearing masks. I ordered the surf and turf Mac-n-cheese which was amazing and the beet salad is the best I've had. My wife ordered the skirt steak, rare and fries with truffle aioli sauce. The steak was actually rare and delicious and you've got to try the fries! I hope they make the fries available on more dishes. Yum!! read more

I was excited to try this place! We missed out when it was The Covenant- tried to get in and always seemed to choose to go elsewhere. This place is the perfect mix of class and casual - the drinks were delicious and the pizza was excellent!! Our server was talkative and knowledgeable of the menu! He was great!! Forgot to mention the Covid Awareness here- staff masked, hand sanitizer as you walked in, a complimentary mask while you wait (if you don't have your own). Sanitized areas after folks are ready to leave. Kudos guys!!! Super prepared!! This will be our new go to! read more

Checked this place out a couple weeks ago. Food was good and service was ok which was kind of expected given it had recently opened. Reason for 2 stars is that they were taking almost zero precautions. Saw a couple of the chefs in back wearing masks but none of the wait staff, managers or hostesses. Tables were spaced out which was good and fortunately it wasn't that crowded. Waking in to a restaurant wearing a mask to be a responsible citizen and neighbor and seeing hardly anyone else at the establishment doing so made for an uncomfortable experience. Left a poor impression on what otherwise would have been a 4-5 star experience. I hope they decide to be more responsible going forward - it's sad when a business must be mandated to make changes before they take a public heath crisis seriously. UPDATE: changed from 2 star to 4 star review after learning that they made significant changes after we visited. We will give it another shot soon! read more

Third trip in two weeks and this place continues to exceed expectations. The food is an explosion of flavor and adventure with superior service that can't help but make you feel FANTASTIC. Great place for happy hour - excellent pricing. Had very refreshing cocktail special, good pours on the wine and good appetizers. Excellent Brussels sprouts and quince special app. Garlic knots a little bready. Service was good although it felt a little at the end as if they wanted us gone as business picked up. Music was loud but didn't disrupt conversations. Nice atmosphere with windows open. Parking can be a challenge. read more

I did not like the covenant but after they redid the restaurant and renamed it, we had a better experience. The decor is super cute and the bar is much smaller. It's really nice In there. Our waiter was amazing, sorry I don't remember his name. The food and drinks were all good. I'm pretty sure we will be back. read more

Ambiance not too loud not too soft. It has more of a casual feel than The Covenant. Food is on point here. My kiddos says its the best pizza, so that's a win win. Got the calamari and ceviche as an app, and the Chicken Milanese of the restaurant week menu and it was awesome. read more

This place was bomb! You can smell the dough from outside the restaurant! Popped in for a casual dinner and ended up enjoying every bite! Calamari and shishito peppers to start, never a bad option but loved their cauliflower crust pizzas! We got the Trust Us and Go Green, definitely will be doing those again! Also surprising but loved the blueberry cheesecake that they get from a local bakery! The overall experience was a treat! read more

As soon as I entered, I was captivated by the clear wine cellar surrounding the bar - a unique and visually appealing touch. The happy hour menu offered a fantastic selection of bites, and the best part was that all drinks were priced at just $7 (with beer at $6). What a steal! The Meatballs with Focaccia and Brussels Sprouts stole the show for me; they were incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. However, the Spicy Shrimp Cocktail didn't quite hit the mark for my taste buds. For dessert, I treated myself to their seasonal cheesecake, which was a delightful conclusion to my meal.
