Dive bar setting I went in last week on monday. Bought fried pickles for 14.00, gin shot for 5.50 and a pineapple ace for $9. My bill came up to 29.69, Why did the bar add a $400 tip to my card?! I gave the girl $4 cash and wrote cash on the check. They altered it and added $400 can you believe it! Please do not come here. Now i have to dispute their fraudulent activities

If you ever in Hesperia California and need to find a spot to chill and grab a bite to eat and drink with your friends you found it here at the Whiskey Barrel. From Midget Wrestling events to fight nights and an occasional bar fight or two (hey it happens everywhere) . This Is the Spot. They have music, dancing, and security is pretty good at taming the crowd. So order up a Whiskey Neat and enjoy the vibe. The waitresses and bartenders are as good as they can be and the meals are decent. I had a vegan burger last time and I was not disappointed.

And I'm a new fan of an old favorite! The food is old timey, country style cooking. It never occurred to me until I tried it but this is the style of cooking that those tv dinners try to emulate, but this food is so much better. It won't win any culinary awards but the portions are huge, food is rib-stickingly satisfying, and it's a guarantee that you'll leave completely full and very likely with leftovers for the next day. The prices are pretty fair too- it was about $20 for a full dinner w 3 sides and 2 biscuits, which was about the same cost but twice the food as the meager fast food option I got the day prior. Between the two I would go for this place every time. It was so nice being on the road and having a real food option without breaking the bank

My husband wanted the Fried Chicken, mashed potatoes (brown gravy on the side) and green beans. The sides were the only things that tasted fresh. The chicken, was precooked, too breaded and reheated. My husband also wanted all dark meat, but the guy said he couldn't because it came in a bag? He ended up eating the two dark pieces and throwing the others away. I ordered the Rainbow Trout, broccoli and although I ordered a Sweet Potato, they gave me a white potato with everything. The trout was dry and not very flavorful. I threw the 2nd filet away. The Broccoli was delicious and cooked to perfection. The potato was a potato and not what I wanted. I won't be ordering dinner from Cracker Barrel again, however, I will still do dine in breakfast on occasion.

For the food: - Rattlesnake bites (2/10): soooo salty. beyond my imagination. has jalapeños but not spicy at all for ppl w/low spice tolerance. - Filet Medallions (9/10): comes w/ 3 sides, 2 sauces, + 3 filets. I ordered the sirloin here last time and this was definitely way better. for the price + what it comes with, this is def a life hack. I got it w/ Mac and cheese and that definitely needs to be worked on. It looks like Kraft but somehow tastes worse. I didn't like it at either of the locations I went to. Soupy little sauce that one. - Sirloin and Shrimp Combo (8/10): My dad really liked the shrimp but I don't think it was anything crazy. Frozen probably & for the price jump with the combo, I probably wouldn't order it myself. Overall, would obviously come back. This is my second weekend in a row. The bread + peanuts get me everytime.

We came here about 3 years ago for my son's birthday, and he insisted on coming back here again for this year's birthday. The waiter was nice and attentive, he didn't have any issues waiting when we needed more time to decide on our order, and he was quick to correct an issue when our food arrived. We never ran out of our drinks, which is a feat in itself with how fast the kids drain theirs! The best part for me was when I showed the waiter a picture of a drink I ordered 3 years ago and the bartender was able to replicate it and tell me what it was so I could order it again. It wasn't on their menu anymore, so it was impressive that he was able to identify it from a picture. Bring back the White wine Sangria, it's delicious! Oh, I also have to mention that when they brought the ice cream out to sing happy birthday, they made sure to include an ice cream for my 5 year old so that she didn't feel left out. The item was actually supposed to be chicken suizas, but we received chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Ironically, my mom liked this first order more than the second one. My mom enjoyed her chicken enchiladas. 2nd order: Shrimp fajitas, but I received fajitas with chicken, shrimp and steak. I made an attempt to eat the steak but it was dry. We ordered chicken suizas and received the actual chicken suizas, which did not have shredded chicken but blocks of chicken. My mom hated this dish and said it made her sick unfortunately. The manager was gracious in correcting the mistakes and gave us some delicious churros, so that helped. The flour tortillas seemed handmade, they were very fluffy. The salsa and chips were good. I enjoyed my fajitas but sadly my mom hated the suizas.
