We love coming here for a Christmas Eve dinner. They accommodate large parties (6+) really well in their enclosed outdoor patio. The restaurant is always festively decorated during the holidays and it's easy to find parking. We've never had a wait and enjoy the atmosphere. This year we had Cadillac margaritas and they were VERY good. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas for the first time and absolutely loved the garlic sauce and the flavors really went well with the beans and rice. The birria tacos, queso blanco, mole enchiladas and fajitas are also pictured here. All of the food is super good portion sizes are large and the service is great! Went last Saturday. Chips were not warm and salsa had no flavor. Did not eat them at all. My salad was nice the best part was the Blue Cheese Dressing. The best I have had in the High Desert. We visited in late Saturday afternoon and we were not disappointed. It was a bit too warm for patio dining so we chose to dine inside. The service was great; very attentive. The Chips were amazing & Salsa was delightful, the Corona's were icy cold! I chose the Shredded Beef Flauta with tasty Rice and delicious Refried Beans with Jack Cheese. Me and my family stopped on the way home (an hour drive) to eat before the long drive. Food was alright. Place was nice and clean. Service was nice and wait time wasn't long since there was only 2 tables (including us) the problem or issue I have is after paying. I gave my card and told the waitress who took the card with the receipt that there's also cash with the card as a tip. I tipped what was recommended on the receipt with cash. My total came out for just the food 59.77. Come to find out the next day they ended up charging my card more making the total over $70. Basically doubling the tips. Because again I tipped with cash informed the waitress her cash tip was in there and later they tipped themselves again with my card. I attempt to call to leave VM atleast to fix the situation and I'm unable to it asking for a password pin. My receipt clearly said what my total was and that's the amount I agreed and signed for 59.77. Later charging a customers total after they sign is not ok. If you pay with card check your statement on your bank before leaving. I will attempt to reach out to them again as it honestly doesn't sit right with me. read more

Food was delicious...but the CAT was the issue. While sitting on the patio, there was a random stray cat wandering among the tables. The waitress admitted to feeding it earlier that day. When our food was brought out and placed on a nearby table so the waitress could then give each of us our dishes, the cat jumped on the table with our food and almost got on the serving tray. The waitress just shewed it away, but was not concerned. Later, as we were eating, the cat stayed near my daughter. My daughter was happy about it - she is a kid who loves animals. The waitress came by, picked up the cat with bare hands (the same hands she served our dished with - no gloves), held it to her chest and carried the cat away. The cat was comfortable with this and it seemed as if this has been a common interaction. Overall - I think the health department might need to investigate this restaurant and the cat issue. I will not be returning with any of my family members. Stray cats can have parasites and other infectious pathogens or even insects...and if they got ON OUR FOOD from the cat itself or the actual servers who handle the cat - that is unacceptable. read more

I only like one other Mexican restaurant in the desert because I like my enchiladas with a good sauce and the cheese in the middle has to be melted which it always is here! March 2025. Came here after a funeral service for my sis n law mother and a dear friend passed away. It was my first time here, it was evening, and the ambiance was beautifully inviting. I had a cheese enchilada and the sauce was tasty and rice beans delicious. My review is more about how the staff made us feel. The staff was aware that we were coming from a funeral and when we left the restaurant, the entire staff stood up by door as we walked out. There is a saying we don't always remember what someone says, but we always remember how they made us feel. This is my favorite restaurant in the high desert. read more

Where do I even begin? This place is excellent. Any restaurant can serve you a meal. However can they provide good service, consistent food and drink quality and make you feel like family while doing so? Las Brisas can - and has time and time again. We go just about every Friday night that doesn't involve camping or going to Havasu. The ambiance is great, the employees make you feel welcome, and can hear them talking and laughing with themselves and other diners. Linda, will often come by and chat too - sometimes will take a seat next to you and stay a minute. We usually get waited on by Danielle (I think is her name) and she always stops and says Hi and asks how we've been, even if we don't end up in her section that night. Las Brisas is the place to bring your out of town friends or your family coming to visit. I can't say enough great things about coming here. read more

This place used to be great but sadly no more. Shrimp Fajitas are $24.99 they add $2.00 for shrimp. Both my daughter and I got the shrimp fajitas. When they came out both my daughter and I got the kids fajitas plate. Both plates had 6 small shrimps. Next the margaritas came in 8oz plastic cups and they were $15 they were all ice. I asked the server to speak with the manager but no one came and the server did nothing. I doubt my family will ever come back. We are a large group and eat out once every week. read more

Las Brisas has been a favorite spot of mine for many years. The food is fantastic, but I'll begin my review with the atmosphere. When you arrive at the place, you will feel like you're in a restaurant in Mexico. You walk by a little fountain/waterfall with a beautiful garden around it. As you continue walking in, you'll see all the outside patio dining area, which is ABSOLUTELY the best in the HD. This area can accommodate big groups, as I've seen it done before. It feels like you're in Mexico. Inside, the restaurant has a wonderful decor, which lends itself to a fine dining experience. The food is well worth it. It's regular priced but the portions are generous. The menu has a pleasant variety, and you can pretty much get whatever your heart desires when it comes to Mexican cuisine. As far as taste, everything I've ever had was very tasty and well worth the cost. You really can't go wrong with anything you get there. The bar has just as much variety as the food, and you can get some really good drinks there. They specialize in Margaritas and you can't go wrong with whatever one you choose. All in all, your dining experience will be fantastic. Give them a try. If you can go with a group and dine in the courtyard, you'll have a great time and you'll feel like you're in Valle de Manzana, Mexico. read more

This is a GEM! I feel like this restaurant belongs down the hill considering how awesome the entire experience was but it's in the HIGH DESERT! Let's start at the beginning, I came at night on taco Tuesday and entered through the back. Beautiful external lighting and the indoor ambiance was so beautiful. There was an indoor fire pit. It's 46degrees outside and the fire pit section allowed you to sit and take off your jacket. The restaurant feels like you're outside. Okay back to taco Tuesday, there was a lady making fresh tortillas. They had pork, chicken, fish, and steak tacos along with a slew of different salsas. Everything was good. I don't typically like Mexican food (because it's played out especially in the high dessert) but their food isn't typical. Their food was made with love. Their chips from the chips and salsa seem to be made and fried in house. Now the staff. Everything was so beautifully designed. So, I had questions and the staff not only answered them, but they were soooo soooooooo sooooooooooo freggin nice. I was literally given a tour during a taco Tuesday night. I also learned that their building was Rusty Bulls building 20+years ago. The culture in the restaurant is just welcoming. I can tell it starts with the staff and the culture rubbed off on the customers because they were even nice and welcoming. It literally felt like a family. The Sunday brunch was stellar with authentic Mexican entrees like Chile rellenos, meaty enchiladas, fresh grilled chicken, beef fajitas,and so much more! Fast forward fall, October 2023... The inside dining room is much the same. The outdoor garden patio is no longer the lush, vines, shrubs n flowers, and lively fountain n fire pit ambiance it once was. Yes, the fountain is there. Just no water. It is clean and minimal in its overall look now, kinda baron, really. I sat in the garden patio and ordered their Cadillac margarita and chicken fajitas. The cocktail was $22 bucks..not at all worth the price.. . Small portion of chicken fajitas with more bell peppers & onions than chicken. Served with beans, rice, with 2 corn tortillas for $19.00. Rice was lacking flavor, soggy in texture. The homemade beans were runny, thin as if put in a blender or something. Service was quick in receiving the cocktail, tho 35 min in serving my order. There were 6 tables in use in dining room. I was the only person in garden patio. No service after receiving meal. No offer for another drink or water refill when empty. Took a long time in getting the check as well. Overall, this restaurant has lost its luster and charm. Very disappointing since I much prefer to dine at locally owned eateries. This one is off my list. read more
