Sizzling fajitas at Mama Maria's for my birthday!
    Heidi M.

The food was 5 stars! My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday! We had the sizzling fajitas trio for 2 (steak, chicken, and shrimp) that came with rice, beans, guacamole, and sour cream. Also enjoyed chips and salsa, margaritas, and the most delicious fried ice cream for dessert! Highly recommend Mama Maria's Mexican Grill.

Very friendly staff. Women working there front tonight are super kind and she even complimented my hair really good food.

    Ceviche so many onions

The food has gone downhill here. This was always my go to place but I will probably never go back. I think the last 6 times have been pretty bad but after the last experience I'm done. I had the ceviche and it was over 50% onions. I ended up picking most of them out. No kick to it and very little cilantro. If you want good margaritas but don't care about the quality of the food this is the place for you. Their margaritas are the best I've ever had!

First time here, drive down from Wrightwood. ordered Flautas and they are delicious! And the margarita VERY good! Definitely coming back !!

Great place, definitely coming back. And thanks to Salvador for being so accommodating!

First time here in in 10 years. The customer service is awesome!!! So friendly and attentive! Especially Pedro. Their food was tasty and filling! We decided to try the sampler since we couldn't make a decision. All of it was delicious. Their beans are on point too. Or margaritas were strong and satisfying. We will most def be going back !!!

Coming to the Wrightwood Inn for the first and last time this weekend, wasn't a great way to end the night. Vibes were definitely off with the way one server was treating certain people. As the night went on it got worse. Ive never seen anyone treated so horrible as I witnessed Jessica scream at someone, kicking them out. The other people did nothing and just walked in as she noticed them and yelled at them "to get the f*** out" in their face multiple times, her hands up. Doing that in their face all the way till they simply walked out. Completely out of line. Instead of handling the situation with grace she went over board. We left shortly after. I cannot support a business with workers that treat people in that way. Unacceptable and I wont want anyone I care for treated that way so it definitely wont be a place I suggest to anyone.

Don't expect any type of a dining experience, but when you're fayded-it does the trick! The decor is pretty cool, with a vintage mountain ski vibe and pool tables up stairs. Plenty of locals come through here while it's the only place that stays open late. The drink selection is pretty basic, with simple selections of beer and basic cocktails. The prices are slightly above average. If you are looking for a place to grab a few in this mountain this town, check it out!

My children like this place, my wife likes this place and obviously lots of other people do. My wife and I shared the poutine, and we had some chicken wings as an appetizer. She likes Guinness draft there and I had Sour Monkey Triple draft. The poutine was good and it was the first time my wife had tried it--she loved it. I thought there could have been a little bit more of the cheese curd, it was fried, but I know every place makes theirs a little different. The atmosphere is great; it reminds you of a cabin on the inside and of course you're in Wrightwood CA so it's a perfect mountain hangout. The tables are clean, the area swept up and a very inviting indoor environment as outdoor environment. This is a rustic environment, so don't expect four-star accommodation. Again, as I said, it is perfect for this area, and I would expect nothing less. The service was great, we had two or three different servers, and they were always polite, knew their menu well, and offered upgrades. Had a great conversation with this server and he had been coming up there for years himself before working there. His daughter and wife were outside, and he would periodically chat with them which made us feel like it was a great family environment. The menu is varied and they have some excellent hamburgers; I have had the patty melt in the past. There is something about being 5000 feet above sea level, having a cold drink, and hot food; it's amazing. If you happen to be up in the Wrightwood area stop by at this place you will not regret it the food is hot and tasty, the beer is cold and the service and ambience is excellent,

We each walked up to the counter and placed our orders. While waiting, we enjoyed the cozy interior and a live band on the patio. We ordered a few sandwiches, huge pretzels, and a cheese flatbread for the kiddos. I ordered the cold 6" Knuckle Sammy, and it was filled generously with deli meats and fresh ingredients. A very satisfying sandwich. Other sandwiches enjoyed included the Meatball, Pastrami Reuben, and Wrightwood Philly. The pretzels were fantastic, hot and soft, and came with a tasty cheese dip. The beers on tap were terrific. I had the Seasalt & Lime Lager, which was cold and refreshing. I got to try Hazy IPA, which was good, and if you like sours, the Plum Sour is worth a try. They also have hard seltzer and non-alcoholic beverages in the cold fridge next to the cashier. The staff was kind, and the service was excellent. All the beer tastes great. They have a lager, red ale, black beer, and stout. The have other rotating beers and seltzers on tap such as sours. They also have canned beverages. I really like the canned happy dad's. The food is really good. They offer breakfast, sandwiches, lunch sandwiches (Turkey avocado is my favorite), flatbread pizza, and most recently, wings. The lunch sandwiches remind me of My Hero Sub if you're familiar with that establishment in the Inland Empire. So good! All the ingredients on the sandwiches are fresh. They also can make your sandwich into a salad - I have not tried that yet. Great spot. The locals love it. Give it a try if you like laid back breweries. You can eat inside or outside.

Sometimes on quiet days in town there is a wait because the cashier is also responsible for preparing the food/drinks, but it's always reasonable. The prices are very fair, they do not hit you with the "mountain tax" at all. The drip coffee is tasty and the espresso is good as well! I haven't had the pastries yet but they look good, especially the donuts, and I'm excited to come back and taste them. Today I had the breakfast burrito, the cashier was very helpful and accommodating of some recent dietary restrictions I have developed, and she made me a great burrito! I swapped out the bacon for avocado (not normal for me, but like I said, dietary restrictions) and it was just as good as with bacon! My burrito has avocado, eggs, hash browns and tomatoes, and it was exactly what I needed. Good to note that the only bread option is sourdough, however, it is very tasty homemade and fresh sourdough, which is quite the treat. Unfortunately, not for me today, but I have enjoyed it in the past. I usually get to go and drive up the hill to picnic with a view, but I'm looking forward to eating in one day. That atmosphere is very cozy and calm, both the inside and the patio are nice. Speaking of atmosphere, I was happy to see many pride and pro LGBTQ flags in the restaurant, helping foster a welcoming environment for all. TLDR - 1. Good food , good coffee , very fair prices. Mostly serving sandwiches, pastries, coffee. 2. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff. 3. Big wine selection. 4. Cozy interior or nice patio for Al fresco dining.
