I used to go to this place almost every day but the workers they have hired recently are terrible. We arrived today at opening. The girl that opened the door glared at the people outside waiting. Everyone in line was talking about it. Then we get up to order and the lady put her gloves on sprayed the counter with chemicals and wiped it with her hands. The veg are always watery so we ask that they squeeze the water out so the pizza isn't totally soggy. The girl doing the veg to day would not do so for me, no matter how many times I asked. Then they burn my pizza so didn't get to eat with my spouse. They remade without me watching and when brought out it wasn't made with what I asked for and it tasted like chemicals. Two Wednesday's ago The app was not working correctly, so I called in to talk to the restaurant as I was trying to build a pizza and get the ingredients but they weren't showing up correctly . So the manager took my order over the phone insured that it would be ready and kept his word as I arrived, and everything was ready in exactly as ordered. This was my first time at this Pyro's and I loved it. I came here with my mom and grandparents after I told them about my experience with another Pyro's and they decided to try it out. I love the location and the way things worked in this one. The staff were very friendly and the man on the register was very nice and professional. My mom and I made our own pizza, I had the alfredo, she tried the gluten free crust. My grandparents each had a salad and a pizza as well. I really enjoyed my pizza (I have great taste in toppings) and everyone else liked theirs too. Just a heads up though, the gluten free isn't as thin and crispy as the regular but I love that they have an option for people that can't eat gluten. Their soda machine is so cool, you can try out all the sodas you haven't gotten a chance to try before and they have various flavors to mix, Overall I had a great experience at this Pyro's and my grandfather couldn't stop talking about it way after we left lol. Will definitely come back soon and can't wait to try out a different type of pizza. I love Pyro's! I've been to the Union and Ridgeway locations and have had good experiences. So when I heard there was a new location in Collierville, I wanted to take my husband since he has never been. Unfortunately, the pizza at this location was a complete disappointment. Like all Pyro's this location was pretty spacious and accommodating for a number of people. It was clean and had ample parking. Like all locations, it also has the same subway style set up where you choose either a full size pizza, snack pizza, and/or salad. Then literally you tell the person the type of sauce, meat, cheese and toppings you desire. When we arrived at this location, we quickly placed our order. Staff were friendly, and pleasant and our food arrived quickly. However, my pizza was undercooked and lukewarm. The toppings on the pizza were still cold. It had to be the worse pizza I have ever eaten from Pyros and I truly love Pyros. I gave this location 3 stars for the sole reason that customer service was good and I love pyros. I am hoping that the disappointing pizza at this location was a one time occurrence. read more

This place has gone down. The original mgmt was so good. The kids working their trained well. Now nobody knows what they are doing or perhaps don't even cares. We don't come here as much any more because of this. Also something is always out or not working whether it is the soap in the hand washer, paper towels to dry your hands, the ice machine, even some of the drink offerings in the soft drink machine. As it's National Pizza day I had to make a stop for the best pizza. I was lucky enough to be helped by Johnny Lee and Izzy and they are the absolute very best, had my nieces with me and they made them laugh and have a great time, and was topped off by made the perfect pizza, it truly hit the spot!!!! This is the perfect spot to meet our daughter and family for lunch: everyone of all ages is happy. But then again, this is also the perfect spot for my wife and I to have dinner alone. My wife requires gluten free, no onion or garlic, which means a gluten free pizza crust (which in many places tastes like cardboard) with olive oil instead of marinara. No problem at Pyro's; my wife had a pizza this past weekend that she said was one of the best ever, as was my pesto/pulled pork/mushroom/roasted garlic. Salad very fresh and delicious too. Good inexpensive wine by the glass. Service friendly and helpful. Quite reasonable. Pyro's style is similar to subway, you pick the ingredients - meat, sauce, etc and they give you a tracker for your order while you seat yourself and they make the pizza. During lunch time, there usually is a long line since there is a lot of businesses/workplaces around. So up to 10-15 minutes in the line to order can be expected. They have adequate seating so I haven't found myself without a seat after ordering yet. On Tuesdays, they have a special deal where if you check in on Yelp or social media, you get a free drink given that you order a pizza or salad. So I've been a regular patron every Tuesday. Overall, this is a great place for lunch breaks at work and you can't decide what you want to eat on a Tuesday. read more

Feeling disappointed. We have been coming here for a long time but tonight was a mess. We stood at the front of the line for a long time and no one would address us. One young man actually refused to take our order so another girl had to run up and take them. They ran out of rolls and dressing. We did not come in late, around 6:30. When asking for what dressings they had a girl went to the back, stayed there a long time, then was eating when she came out of the door. Once we finally got our orders in there were no clean tables and we had to clean one off ourselves. Some of the staff were trying their best to get the others in line and things in order but there were two or three that were just not cooperative. Ordered Pyro's (Collierville) on DoorDash an hour ago. They just canceled the order. Our poor Dasher was waiting at the restaurant for almost 45 minutes. Our Dasher did text us that Pyro's was "backed up" after they had waited 15 minutes. I called Pyro's right after the order was canceled in order to determine if this was a Pyro's or DoorDash issue and was immediately put on mute/hold with no one ever speaking. I called back again and a girl answered. I explained that our order was canceled an hour after it was placed. She said "we're very backed up". Mystery solved. It's a management issue at Pyro's. Walk in and get in line to see the workers playing around behind the counter. Whenever we get to the counter to order, the young lady who was preparing the pizza had hair that hung below her shoulders. The hair was not covered with a hair net and was hovering over our pizzas while she was prepping them. We were given our food in boxes and told everything was to go after we had received a buzzer for our food. It was 8:15 at this time and the dining room did not close until 9:00. Workers were seeing giving fellow coworkers the middle finger and the playing around continued during our entire visit. Out of all the Pyros in Memphis, this one is by far the best EVERY TIME. The restaurant is clean, the staff are courteous and respectful, the bathroom is immaculate, the ingredients are fresh, the pizza is delicious and comes out extra crispy just as I order it. The manager Jonny Lee is doing an incredible job holding the standard high. I feel like I've stepped back 20 years when these attributes were part of our common culture. Ordered my food online about 20 minutes before going into the restaurant, at pickup time I was told my food was in the oven. I don't mind waiting a few minutes, so i said okay. After 20 minutes go by, i asked the cashier how long more and he went to check the pizza. I noticed him scramble and realize my pizza had not even been made. In the next 2 minutes my pizza was prepared and placed quickly in the oven. I got my pizza about 15 minutes later. Food: In a similar fashion to "Chipotle" or "Subway", you line up and tell an employee how you want to build your pizza and they add the ingredients right in front of you. They have some good basic "combination" of toppings if you don't want to decide, but I recommend you decide based on your own tastes since you can get a lot of cool stuff. They offer just about every meat and veggie in the world and you can choose your own type of cheese or a cheese blend. These are personal pizzas that I find to be pretty filling for one grown adult. If you want you can add a small side salad or garlic knots if you need a little bit more food. As an added bonus they also serve a lot of different beers and they have one of those cool touch-screen soda fountains that kids love. Atmosphere: It's a nice fast-casual chain restaurant. Nothing too fancy, but the dining room was very clean and all the tables were bussed. Service: Solid service, you "make your pizza" down the line, then while they bake it you can get a drink and sit down. Sometimes they just bring them to you, sometimes you have to go up to get them. Price: If you just get a pizza and water you can be out of here for around 10 bux which is really good. Delicious pizza anyway you'd like it! My wife and I like to split a pizza and a snack salad. Pile it up however you'd like and then they throw it in the oven and bring it to the table for you. Make sure you get the CANDIED JALAPEÑOS (seasonal item)!!! The snack salad, same thing minus the oven. Lol. We like ours with the shaved almonds and honey basaltic dressing! You will too! They have a great collection of hot sauce bottles to top it all off. Ghost pepper, chipotle, sriracha, jalapeño, etc etc. They also serve beer and wine at a little side bar. I was surprised about several things on my first soirée into a Pyro's. I was surprised at the one, very reasonable price, for a pizza with either one ingredient, or ALL the ingredients! I was surprised at the selection of ingredients, and the quality of those ingredients. I was surprised at the generous portion for the price. And I was surprised by how much I really enjoyed my pizza. The dough bites were bland and kinda pointless, honestly, but next time maybe I'll try the cinnamon things. It was clean and the staff were friendly. I was a little claustrophobic as they were slammed with customers and corralling us all down that narrow chute toward the preparation stations. I figure I just won't go back when it's crowded, or we'll call in an order and pick up. Although we did a late lunch, arriving after 1:00, the restaurant was bustling; we waited 20+ minutes before our turn to order, as well as another 15 to get through the line with our pizzas. And with such a big crowd, the staff couldn't clear tables fast enough. I bet they'll hit their stride in a few more weeks! EATS: I took home half of my entree-sized pizza. My family and I love Pyro's! I am a Girl Scout Daisy Leader and my mom is a Brownie Girl Scout leader. One of the things our Girl Scouts wanted to do with their money they earned from cookie sales was to have a pizza party. We asked Charity if we could and not only were we allowed to come in, we got to have the girls make their own pizzas.
