Came to Pzza on a whim as we were in the area for shopping. It's located in a little strip plaza, with pretty limited parking. But if you know Mizner, you know to expect it. When we got to the door, the door was open, and it wasn't even nice outside. My pet peeve is when restaurants leave their doors open, it was also warm and muggy on the inside, not sure if they're AC was broken or what. We didn't plan to eat it to go, so we just ate there. It definitely is more of a takeout spot. They have outdoor seating, but kids were taking up those tables, so we ate at the bar that they have. You order from a tablet on the wall which I honestly prefer than having to speak to an actual person. We ordered the chicken caesar sandwich, the 12" vodka pie, and a side of truffle fries along with 2 cans of soda. The chicken caesar sandwich was the perfect balance of crunchy, tender, and saucy. The fried chicken cutlet was cooked beautifully, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and paired perfectly with the cool caesar dressing. I do wish this sandwich had a bit more flavor though. I think the Caesar fell a bit flat for me. It also seems like you can double up on the meat for the sandwiches, too, when you order. The vodka pizza crust had that ideal mix of light chew and crispness, and the vodka sauce was rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. The truffle parm fries, while crispy, did not offer much truffle or parm at all. They were pretty bland, but still a really good french fry, just not a good truffle fry, and you're paying extra for the truffle and parm. Overall, our meal was a little over $42. I would say the prices are pretty on par for most pizza places these days which is absolutely insane, considering pizza should be pretty cheap. The vodka pie is on the lower price end of their pizzas considering the fact that it doesn't have meat. So if you are getting meat on your pizza, expect to pay more. It was an okay experience, I would go back to try other things, but unless it's a cool night out, which does not come regularly in florida, I'd absolutely get everything to go, however I'm not 100% sure how it would hold up during a drive. I guess we will find out eventually!

We visit there today and we just had the two person pepperoni pizza fresh from the oven. It was very good and very fast. Other people we were with had the Smashburger and I think they are known for this one and they absolutely loved it. I think we would definitely come here again.

My son and I were in the area visiting Gumbo Limbo Nature Center and started craving pizza. After browsing a few Yelp reviews, we came across PZZA, and we're so glad we did! The restaurant is tucked into a busy shopping strip, so parking is a bit tight, but the pizza is well worth it. Their cute gator logo makes the place easy to spot. Inside, you'll find high-top seating for dine-in guests, and I appreciated the variety of ordering options: a large digital menu, handheld copies, and a self-serve kiosk. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered at the counter with a kind young woman and went with a classic cheese pizza (12 inches, 8 slices), two garlic knots, and a cold-pressed strawberry lemonade (all for about $24). We grabbed a couple of seats by the window, which gave us a nice view for some casual people-watching. The garlic knots came out first, hot, fresh, and just the right size for a light bite before our main meal. By the time we finished them, our pizza arrived, served with two plates. The pizza was outstanding: thin crust, flavorful sauce, and a well-balanced overall taste that hit all the right notes. PZZA is a solid hidden gem, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!

Half Cheese Pizza with Stracciatella Burrata

Really yummy pizza. Extremely crispy, almost no flop when you hold it. Smash burger was also very good. I didn't love the mozzarella sticks, they were a bit overdone, but my mom still really liked them so I guess it was a matter of taste, and the cheese inside was really stretchy and nice. The soft serve is a skip, unless you want an artificial vanilla taste, I know some people find that to be nostalgic, but it isn't what I prefer.

After hearing some buzz about the place, I had to stop by and check it out. I liked both the Burger and the Pizza but upped my score to a 5 because I like the people here. Jules took my order and Jimmy made my pie. They are both awesome... taking the time to explain everything and answer my questions with a fantastic attitude. This store is small, and very laid back. First had a Single House Style SmashBurger w/ American Wagyu smashed into the griddle for a crispy outside, w/ White American, Red Onion, Japanese Mayo... had great flavor, liked the preparation. Then ordered a Pepperoni and Onion Pizza. Top quality ingredients and always appreciate Ezzo Pepperoni. Jimmy cooked it perfectly. They only have 12" pies, so the 8 slices are very small... next time I'll ask for 4 cuts. Wish they offered larger pies as well. A pizza place like this with Saratoga Water tells you something about their attitude toward quality. RECOMMENDED

A little disappointed. Thought this place was going to be amazing bc of all the tiktoks I've seen but it's very average. Got the chicken Cesar sandwhich. Not nearly enough lettuce on it. The chicken was very good though and great dressing. The bread is soft, not your typical bread so didn't love that. It was also very small. The pizza was super mid. And you can only get slices of like three of their pizzas not all of them. Wanted to try a cool flavor but didn't want to get a whole pie so couldn't. Weird that they cut one slice into four pieces. Very overpriced all around also.

If you hate when pizzerias make a pepperoni pie with pepperoni spaced out as an afterthought rather than it being a focal point in placement, then belly up to the counter. The pie was pretty damn good, with a regular bake (as opppsed to well done or charred) the crust was firm and without a flop. The chopped cheese sandwich was equally good...a good bit pricier than NYC bodegas, but it's Wagyu. If you're in the area you should stop by and try it out. The smash burgers are good as well.

10/02/2024 - 4 stars are for the awesome service on the phone ordering our food. The girl who helped me on the phone was so patient and so helpful since I had tons of questions and requests. The food was good but was pricy for the amount we got. FYI it's best to eat this food fresh instead of takeout. We had: * RONI - not too bad * Double WGYU SMSH BRGR (Wagyu Smash Burger) - NOT bad , I am sure it would have been better if we ate the burgers there. * Ranch - Made in House! - VERY good * STRACCI (Stracciatella Burrata) - not too bad * Mike's Hot Honey - very good on Roni pizza * Honey infused with chili peppers. Normally the pizza is very good. Tonight I ordered a Lux with pepperoni on one half. What I got was a regular pizza with half pepperoni then throw some slices of cheese on it. This is not a Lux. I drove all the way from Miami Lakes to try this place, and it was definitely worth the trip! I had the sandwich, pizza, and smash burger, and honestly, I can't choose a favorite because I enjoyed them all. Everything was fresh and surprisingly light for a pizza and burger spot. The social media posts aren't lying. This place can seem gimmicky from afar but the food is actually amazing. The service was good too, but mostly driven by what I assume to be the owner or manager. None of the other staff except for one really interacted. Regardless they were very nice and accommodating. You get what you pay for these days and although this place is a little pricey I will happily pay it again and again. We tried the burger, pizzas, and salad. All amazing. Wow!! This spot really blew my whole group away! We got a pizza and two burgers for a group of 4, perfect amount of food, the burgers were such an amazing surprise for what we thought was only a pizza place!! They were smashed and had a bunch of different topping and flavor options, we got the blue cheese and onions and it was just perfection! The pizza was also stellar!! We ordered it "well done" and it came out crispy and hot and super flavorful. The owner and everyone we spoke with there was super nice and helpful for our ordering and happy to chat anything food/ingredients/business just awesome. The restaurant itself isn't huge but has room for 10 inside and it's nice and cool then also 4 two tops outside that they will push together for groups. We also had the deep fried oreos and someone from the Midwest I'm picky on how things are deep fried and this really held up. Overall this place is such an awesome hidden gem, definitely come if you are in the area! read more

I had the chicken parmesan pizza at PZZA. The flavor, EXPLODED IN MY MOUTH. Like guys if you are in mizner PZZA is for you. I also had the KNOTS and the FRIED OREOS. AMAZING. Best pizza we've ever had; including in Italy! I can't speak highly enough of the crust- crunchy and cooked to perfection. We had the supreme pizza, and it was ohhhh so good! Update: leave it to the business owner to try to pretend as if I never placed an order. First off, I did order on DoorDash, secondly, it was under my husband's name. Believe it or not, sometimes people have accounts shared with their partners. My review is completely accurate, I am not affiliated with any pizza place, I'm sorry that your small mind has to try to rationalize a bad review in a way that makes it not your fault. This pizza is absolute garbage. Have a digorno, you'll be happier. I am convinced that the reviews on here are fake except for the one bad review which clearly is correct. It is obvious that they just had their friends post fake good reviews because this pizza is absolutely terrible. I got it on DoorDash and the pizza was so small no wonder they listed it as "half off." They mark up the price and then make you feel like you're getting a good deal with the coupon. The pizza has terrible flavor and is reminiscent of lousy chain delivery places. You're better off eating a frozen pizza. Don't fall for the fake reviews. read more

This joint is terrible. The pizza is mediocre at best. The staff does not work in a clean healthy manor. No gloves, no hair restraints, they don't wash their hands after handling money. Good for what it is. Good burgers, and good service. Only complaint is the seating, all bar/high stools is tricky for handicapped and small children, for that crowd try the swanker and pricier places across the road. Best bang for your buck in the area. read more

The BBQ and Buff Chicken pizzas are delicious (only ones I've tried). They also had a lobster/truffle pizza which I'm excited to try next time! Pizza sizes are big enough for one if you're hungry or can be split between two people. Staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant has nice indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Place is way too expensive for what you get. I just went today and they made their buffalo fries which were 14 to 19 and the Diet Coke was 2.50 and now is 3 bucks. i even pointed out that was more than last time and got the menu to show the prices were lower and i was told that the menus were wrong and then I looked at the screen that has the menu and saw that those prices were the original prices I mentioned earlier. Not sure what's going on here but I'd rather shit in my hands and clap then get charged almost 30 dollars for fries and a drink. read more

Had to wait for an hour to get my cheese pizza. When I got it, it was burning hot and the cheese was too melted, all of the tomato sauce and cheese literally almost dropped onto the floor. The pizza crust is really thin, a bit too burned on the bottom. Compared to my favorite Costco pizza, the slices are tiny, thin, and don't even taste good. The only thing I like is the crunch. That's it. The place is tiny but well decorated. Does have some inappropriate stickers on there, as long as kids don't look it's fine. Staff is fine I guess. Dish so I called Back and I expressed my concerns to the gentleman who answered the phone and basically he hung up on me and this is why I'm writing. This reveal very unprofessional. I am a pain customer and was treated like shit today.

While waiting for my slice to exit the stainless steel commercial oven, I noticed the bakers making everything fresh and got a peek at a full tray of garlic rolls. THINNY THIN NY STYLE…read more.. Next to Padrinos in the Mission Bay Plaza is this small local Italian pizzeria chain. The counter guy was cool and briefly chatted about the business. The cheese pizza looked great in the display so he heated me up a decent sized slice. Razor thin slice with a nice medium undercarriage char and a crisp edge and absolutely no flop. Needed a little more bing-bang zest to the sauce, but still good at only $4.00, but had better. The gender neutral bathroom was spotless. The cool brick wall with a traditional Italian red and white table cloth surrounding the lower area of the sink were nice unexpected attributes.
