Great service and systems in place. Ticket times were short. Well run restaurant with well trained staff. Food was prepared to perfection, served at the right temperature. Great dependable dining option

This is another great location of Tavern in the Square. It's always busy here so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation but I had no trouble finding a time that worked for me. We were say immediately and our waitress, Kaylee, came out promptly. She was very sweet and made sure we had a pleasant experience the whole time we were at the restaurant. I had the general tso's chicken which was perfectly crunchy and a little spicy. I've always enjoyed the bang bang broccoli and this was no different tonight either. I would have preferred my rice to be a little bit more coconutty but it was also very good overall. If you like Tavern in the Square I can definitely recommend this location!

I have to say I love this restaurant ! I normally go to the location in Cranston. I'm beyond excited that they have expanded and opened in different areas. Tonight was my first time trying this location , food was excellent as always. My only real complaint was my martini wasn't really filled to the top. I feel like I got shorted on my drink.

Went for dinner on a busy Saturday! Our waitress was friendly and attentive! The wait for drinks was long! Our apps came at the same time as our first drink! The apps were good and everyone liked their meals! The vibe was loud and happening! It's fun and lively! We will definitely be back!

    My burrito

Staff is super friendly and welcoming! The food is a little pricey and you need to know what to order. The general tsos chicken with the gouchugang sauce is very spicy so if you're an Irish for like me stay away from anything with that sauce, it has a KICK! I was nervous about the breakfast burrito because it has fried jalapeños and red and green chile, but it was the perfect amount of spice. As the waitress put it "similar to buffalo wings spice". Come here!!

Greek salad Sweet potato fries Honey siracha wings sauce Tuscan pizza

Food - Yummy!!! We got the Tuscan pizza which is a summer special 10/10, honey siracha wings they weren't cooked to my request but the sauce was really good, Greek salad 10/10 flavorful and so many different things in the salad which I love, sweet potato were fries good Drink - I got the The Solstice it was very good, their drinks are crafted they are not going to get you buzzed though truthfully my friend had the rose sangria it was good but not strong Service - 9/10 good service, nice & informative Ambiance - love the outdoor patio & the open windows such a summer vibe!! The space inside is really big huge bar, which is great because we got seated right away and they were busy!! I want to give a special shout out to the kitchen staff & cooks, the food was presented well and the service was quick even with the amount of guest that were present, I was very impressed and I'll be back!

My meal! Salmon well done. Quinoa bowl, fried pickles and white sangria!

This is my spot! I love the pickle chips and quinoa salmon bowl for take out. They are always accommodating to my substitutes and always get my order correct. The wait time is very reasonable to run quick errands in the area, or wait with a drink at the bar. It's a sports bar ambiance that has outdoor seating. It's great in the summer.

The food was good not great my salmon was a little undercooked for my liking. The dumplings and pretzels very good. My daughter and her friend enjoyed their selections. The service was great helpful and friendly. The vibe is typical sports bar/restaurant. I will be back to try some of other selections.

I really wish this place had more vegetarian and pescatarian options. It felt a bit challenging to find an interesting option if you didn't eat meat. The bang bang cauliflower was super crispy and not too sweet. The whipped feta has this berry jelly on it that makes the dish a bit too sweet for me, I miss the old recipe for this dish. The mushroom pizza was really nice!

I must say overall that this experience was a little underwhelming and overpriced. Decent Food but not Great and in my opinion, overpriced. The interior decor is the highlight of the experience

    Sweet Thai chicken salad.

Busy Saturday night but we found a seat at their huge bar. Bartenders were great. Ordered the sweet Thai chicken salad.. it was amazing!! I want to go back and get it again..

Nice spot...great food...friendly staff. We made a reservation so we didn't have to wait very long and our server was very accommodating when I decided to remix the menu a little bit and add steak to my breakfast plate because I don't eat pork. Overall, good experience there was some miscommunication about flavor, shots, to add flavor to a regular cup of coffee versus receiving an actual shot of alcohol. Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting it, but it was a pleasant surprise and probably better than just a non-alcoholic coffee. I did have two espresso martinis which were amazing and definitely contributed to me enjoying the overall experience. I came here with friends, because we wanted to meet midway between Brockton and Providence and this was a pretty good compromise. I would certainly come here again, the restaurant was spacious and had a nice aesthetic.

I enjoy Tavern in the Square. Ive been to their locations in Allston and Cranston and enjoyed the food and vibes. Fiance and I came here on a Friday night. Place was PACKED! Parking was not hard to find considering the plaza they're situated in, majority of businesses were either already closed or close to being closed as it was 7 PM. We put our name down for a table of 2 and it was about a 45 min wait, however, it was only a 15 minute wait. For drinks, I ordered the mango margarita and fiance ordered the talk tiki to me. Came out pretty quick, about 5 minutes or so. we placed our food orders, he got the buffalo chicken and bacon mac and cheese and i ordered the tavern burger with bacon and a side of sweet potato fries. our waitress was extremely attentive and so sweet. will definitely be back!

There's pop culture references papered all over the walls, an old school wooden bar and a small dining room that could double as an intimate event space Our bartender was super nice, he let us know what was available to order since the full kitchen wasn't open when we went. We were there for the wings anyway, as RI Food Fights brought us here. We got the Maple Bacon Bourbon wings, a side of fries and the giant pretzel The wings were good! Not super crispy but the glaze coated them well and clung to the wing nicely. The menu said they were smoked before they were fried, but outside of the generous amount of bacon bits that were part of the glaze, I didn't get much smoke in the meat itself. Otherwise, we liked the glaze. The fries are the more expensive, clear coat kind that hold their crisp longer, which I appreciate. They were great plain or with ketchup. The pretzel was warm and perfectly soft. The beer cheese that came with it was excellent. And the blue cheese dressing was as well that we got with the wings. It had a great blue cheese flavor without giant chunks of cheese. They also offer pizza and a number of handhelds that all looked interesting, so I'll have to come back soon when the full kitchen is open!

Giant parking lot means you may have to walk a bit. They were mobbed on a Saturday, lunch time. We took one of the few seats free at the bar. Bartenders are very busy and there wasn't any chit-chat with them. They did keep an eye on us pretty well though so no complaints. We ordered a burger and a Caesar salad with steak tips. The burger was tasty and cooked as ordered. The bun fell apart though and it became a 'knife and fork' meal instead of a handheld. The lettuce in the Caesar was very fresh, the dressing is mild and pleasant. The steak tips were cooked a ordered. I'm not a fan of whatever jarred marinade they use on the steak tip though. Would not order them again. Restrooms are big and pretty clean considering the amount of people in and out of there. The water at the sink though is so hot people were getting their hands burned, so be careful. I did ask about it and was told the water temperature is out of their control. If you like other TitS locations you'll enjoy this one.

We ordered a Backyard Platter to share as well as an order of the Pit Mac And Cheese. The Backyard Platter was insane. $67.50. 1/2 lb smoked brisket. 3/4 lb smoked pork. 1 lb hot honey chicken. 4 smoked chourico. 4 pieces of cornbread. and pickles, slaw, and bbq sauces. The meats were delicious. and those bbq sauces! So good! I definitely wish they gave more cornbread, cause you would think with all the food in this order, they would be full pieces of cornbread, but in actuality they were like half pieces of cornbread. so we felt a little shorted there unfortunately considering the cornbread was really delicious. i just wish there was more. Definitely a shared meal, and definitely on the pricier side. The pit mac and cheese was a miss for us. $16.50. we didn't add any toppings to it since the backyard platter was more than enough and sadly, for the price, we were let down. It felt overpriced for what was presented considering the dish itself was shallow and there wasn't anything that stood out. I would've easily paid maybe $9 for that but not $16.50. it felt more like what their $6 side dish would be in truth. Overall, i'm glad we finally stopped by as it's around the corner for us and we had been meaning to try their food. I would definitely come back and try something else next time!

This place has been on my list for a long…read moretime and when I realized where it was I thought this would be great to check out after a busy afternoon of errands along Route 1. It's located right at the entrance of an industrial area. There is a very small lot for parking but it was completely full when we visited today, so we parked along the road where a number of other cars were also parked. This seemed to be okay and the signs just requested folks not park on the grass. The entrance is set back from the street so you kind of need to go around towards the back. We saw they had a food truck, Farm to Sandwich, which although kind of pricey, was super delicious. We both got the All American Smash burger with fries. Fries were so crisp and well crafted and the burger was amazing with a great sauce reminiscent of a Big Mac. For beers, since it was our first time here, we decided to try a bit of everything with flights. Their flights are $13 for 4, 5 oz pours. I chose the Coffee Milk Stout, You are Such an Ass, Bienvenu and Justin's Jangle. We started which the You are Such an Ass IPA, which was described as a light IPA but really didn't taste like an IPA at all. We honestly thought they had poured us the wrong beer. As IPA enthusiasts, this was disappointing. The Bienvenu, which is a Red Ale with Panela (unrefined Colombian sugar cane) was infinitely better. The Coffee Milk Stout, I understand is very popular, but I thought this was average. Justin's Jangle, a Maple Praline Porter was my favorite! Really nice, complex brew! We also really enjoyed the live music from Jake Frezza, a local musician out of North Providence. He sang and played guitar and covered a diverse sampling of songs including Brittney Spears (Toxic), James Taylor and Marvin Gaye. His version of "What's Going On" was particularly excellent. I normally dread listening to live performers at breweries but this guy is actually very talented! Kudos to Ravenous for engaging such a high quality musician! Also, for a Saturday, it was not overcrowded or over run with kids. There was just one family with a super quiet baby and we noted just one dog inside. On exiting, I saw they have a nice memorial where they offer to pour a beer to a fallen service member. Very nice! Gender neutral restrooms Pinball Separate rooms make it quieter than breweries in just one big industrial space. Friendly service at the bar and no lines! Bar stools with no back, kind of uncomfortable and there seemed to be no other seating options like chairs or sofas. In summary: Highlights: Bienvenu Red Ale Justin's Jangle Jake Frezza live music Nice memorial to fallen soldiers Low Lights: You are Such an Ass IPA Barstools/ seating Would definitely stop back here again when in the area!

After doing some research, we came across chick'n boba, a new restaurant in town. The parking lot can fit about 15-20 cars (I am not sure if it is a shared lot with surrounding businesses), but there is also street parking. There are about 3 tables, and some high chairs facing outside for seating. The menu has about 12 different meals, appetizers, and about 12 different boba / tea options - with almost everything being under $12. Since they're still new, they did have some deals. We ordered 2 small taro milk tea with tapioca, 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, and fries, all for $24. After about 10-15 minutes we got our order. All of it was nice and hot. I liked that they wrap their sandwiches half way so you can hold it. I noticed the cheese on the chicken sandwich was not melted, and it had jalapeños to make it spicy. It would have been better if the cheese was melted and if the jalapeños were infused into the sauce. I wish there was more of the sauce it did have because it was delicious. The bun was nice and soft, and the chicken was perfectly crispy and moist. The fries were delicious and had just the right amount of salt. I did not realize until after that they have sauces on the menu (I would have ordered some for the fries). I have never liked tapioca but these were so good. They were soft and actually had a good flavor. I am used to tough and flavorless. The taro was sweet but not anything overwhelming. I would definitely come back for more.
