Visited the Attleboro location of Tavern in the Square and had a mixed experience, though the service really stood out. Our server, Madison, was amazing, so kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet, which made a big impression. We ordered the fries, broccoli, and cheese pizza. The broccoli was probably the standout. It had really good flavor, and I'd order it again, though I wish it had a little more crispness. The fries were a letdown, which feels odd to say about fries. They came out a bit cold, thick, and under-seasoned, so they tasted pretty bland. This is another great location of Tavern in the Square. It's always busy here so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation but I had no trouble finding a time that worked for me. We were say immediately and our waitress, Kaylee, came out promptly. She was very sweet and made sure we had a pleasant experience the whole time we were at the restaurant. I had the general tso's chicken which was perfectly crunchy and a little spicy. I've always enjoyed the bang bang broccoli and this was no different tonight either. I would have preferred my rice to be a little bit more coconutty but it was also very good overall. If you like Tavern in the Square I can definitely recommend this location! read more

Staff is super friendly and welcoming! The food is a little pricey and you need to know what to order. The general tsos chicken with the gouchugang sauce is very spicy so if you're an Irish for like me stay away from anything with that sauce, it has a KICK! I was nervous about the breakfast burrito because it has fried jalapeños and red and green chile, but it was the perfect amount of spice. As the waitress put it "similar to buffalo wings spice". It gets loud and overcrowded quickly. Tried coming here with in-laws before 5 pm on a Sunday and the wait was going to be 45 minutes. We ended up leaving. We order takeout often from here but I wish it were more comfortable to eat with my family there so we could relax a night outside of the house. Parking is terrible here. We made a reservation so we didn't have to wait very long and our server was very accommodating when I decided to remix the menu a little bit and add steak to my breakfast plate because I don't eat pork. Overall, good experience there was some miscommunication about flavor, shots, to add flavor to a regular cup of coffee versus receiving an actual shot of alcohol. Not going to lie, I wasn't expecting it, but it was a pleasant surprise and probably better than just a non-alcoholic coffee. I did have two espresso martinis which were amazing and definitely contributed to me enjoying the overall experience. I came here with friends, because we wanted to meet midway between Brockton and Providence and this was a pretty good compromise. I enjoy Tavern in the Square. Ive been to their locations in Allston and Cranston and enjoyed the food and vibes. Fiance and I came here on a Friday night. Place was PACKED! Parking was not hard to find considering the plaza they're situated in, majority of businesses were either already closed or close to being closed as it was 7 PM. We put our name down for a table of 2 and it was about a 45 min wait, however, it was only a 15 minute wait. For drinks, I ordered the mango margarita and fiance ordered the talk tiki to me. Came out pretty quick, about 5 minutes or so. we placed our food orders, he got the buffalo chicken and bacon mac and cheese and i ordered the tavern burger with bacon and a side of sweet potato fries. our waitress was extremely attentive and so sweet. will definitely be back! read more

The steak was cooked to a perfect medium-rare and was accompanied by a fresh mix of lettuce, black beans, corn, turkey, tomatoes, and avocado. I called in takeout because the app didn't let me apply a free offer. I got there and the order wasn't in the system like she thought but it wasn't a big deal. Her and the manager apologized and I didn't mind. I walked around a bit and checked out the patio then the food was ready a couple minutes later and he insisted on giving me a gift card which was very kind of him. There were a few hostess and they were all helping each other and trying hard. Sometimes you go places and everyone is on their phone but not here. The siracha honey boneless cornflake chicken was great but MAN is it spicy. I thought it would be more sweet but it is a stick hot hot hot. It was good but not for those that can't tolerate. The waitress let us know it's what they use on the Nashville hot, and that she would rank it hottest is the siracha then the buffalo then the bang bang. I would like to try the bang bang next time she said it's got a little kick but not too spicy. I enjoyed all the starter options, we ended up just getting a bunch of starters and small plates. A total miss tonight! Medium rare cheese burger comes out as a well done burger with no cheese. They throw a slice of cheese on it and send it out, still well done and now cold. The pasta dish was so spicy I was unable to eat more than a few bites. They offered to remake it and I refused the offer my mouth was on fire. They took the dish away and offered a desert. No thanks. The bill comes and they charged me for the awful meal that I didn't eat. My wife and I dine here on a regular basis, after tonight we won't be back any time soon. read more

We arrived with no reservations and we're told it would be a 30 minute wait. Our party of 4 was seated within 20 minutes. Adam, our server was attentive. The place was very busy. Adam's service was a little slow, but it was not a problem as our appetizer arrived and we were busy with the nachos and enjoying each other's company. The nachos were good.. they would have been better if they had more cheese, but they did the trick. Adam took our orders. Two of us ordered fish and chips. (Mine was ordered gluten free--unheard of in most restaurants). My wife had the Mac and cheese (she asked for it with no crumbs on top which is how she likes it). Our friend ordered General Tso chicken. It was a while before our dinners arrived, but they were hot and what we had asked for. Our friend said the General Tso chicken was spicer (hot) than he thought it would be, but said the flavors were good. Everyone else was very happy with their meals. The fish and chips was excellent. I made sure t check with the staff that it was gluten free. It was amazing. Best I've had even counting before I knew I needed to be gluten free. The food was excellent. We are older than most of the crowd there that night. If I had any complaint, it would be that the atmosphere was very noisy, but that is true of most of the newer places today. For us, we would prefer a little quieter atmosphere to enjoy our meals. I would love to eat there again, probably not on a weekend evening. Maybe that would be a little quieter and service might be a bit faster. read more

Families with kids, adults at bar, etc. The mixed drinks were very weak, could barely taste the liquor in them, maybe they goofed and made them non alcoholic or something, I dunno... . I would definitely not spend money on them again. Stick to beer if you want something I guess. Have a cocktail at home before you go if that's your thing . Food was decent, mostly pub style food. Burgers, sandwiches, a few main dishes. I would have liked to see more side dish options though. The only real vegetable option was broccoli. Would have liked to see a side salad, roasted veggies, honey garlic green beans, etc instead of the fried stuff.
