Great spot to get a clean cut. I live a few buildings over and had seen it opened a couple moths ago but just never got around to stopping by. I received a mailer with coupons and said what the heck. Took my boy along with me as he needed to get his mop chopped too. Paula did a great job and was professional and friendly throughout. This is my first time at Q Cuts. I lost my hairstylist when their salon closed because of Covid. My husband goes to Q Cuts so I thought I'll give them a try. I went to get my much needed haircut and I ended up getting a hair color too. Paula was very helpful, took her time to help me pick the right color and made sure that I liked my haircut. She was very patient, she wasn't rushing and she made sure that it's the right color that I want for my hair. I'm very pleased to find Paula. She did a great job with my haircut and color. Paula is the best hair stylist I've ever had and made my first experience at a new salon truly extraordinary! I don't write too many reviews but the high level of customer service I received with Paula and her team could not go unmentioned. Paula was very prompt with responding to my appointment request & questions and I was booked almost immediately! My hair/look was suffering after not seeing a hair stylist for 2+ years (years!) but Paula skillfully and effortlessly breathed new life into my hair! I have naturally wavy hair and she was able to give me the exact cut I wanted to accentuate the waves. She was so attentive and would constantly check in with me to make sure I was happy with everything so far. The whole process took longer than anticipated which, unfortunately, made Paula a few hours late to a family event. She was so determined to complete my appointment to the very end though rather than have one of her fellow stylists finish it for her. I even told her that I was fine with someone else curling/styling my hair or even just not getting it curled but she insisted that she needed to see me walk out of that salon feeling beautiful and completely satisfied with the service. I appreciate her dedication and passion. Lon was also very helpful, kind and assisted in any way that he could. He and Paula make a great team! It was my first time at Q Cuts and I had such a wonderful experience. All the staff were so sweet and accommodating and really prioritize customer satisfaction. Paula and her team work hard to make sure their customers leave with not only beautiful hair, but that it's healthy as well. They do everything they can to make sure your hair is in good hands and that it's being well taken care of. Paula makes sure all of her customers are being paid attention to, unlike in other places where they rush the process or are so busy that it's difficult for them to manage all of the clients at once. Like other people, when COVID hit, I took hair grooming into my own hands and it didn't turn out all that well. I noticed Q Cuts was open and wanted to support a small local business. I went in to set an appointment and was greeted nicely. When I came in for my cut, I said I just wanted my hair evened out and she suggested a cut that would compliment my hair type. My hair is so much lighter and looks amazing. I was also recommended a product to help maintain my hair and I bought it there as they sell hair products too. Just took my 2-year old son for a haircut at the new Q Cuts Salon on Wilbeam near CV Blvd. Paula was fantastic! She actually got him to be OK with the clippers and hair dryer after doing a scissor cut on the majority of his hair. Price is $10.99 for a few more weeks, then $14 after the promotion. We got a punch card for a free cut after the 9th cut. They have toys in the waiting area and Paw Patrol lollipops. Highly recommend! read more

I have not been able to cut my hair since lockdown began. Now that salons are open, I wanted to cut 5 inches off and get long layers. Q cuts were extremely affordable and the staff was incredibly friendly! I was charged $20 for services, nothing compared to the $50-80 haircuts I used to get before going to Q cuts. The salon itself was super clean and took various precautions in response to COVID-19. The lady working on my hair wanted to make sure she cut my hair evenly and gave me the layers I desired. Second and last time. First time I came and instead of 30-40 min appointment I had 1.5+ because my hair stylist Paula was busy to solve some problems with other client, so she was running from me to talk to her until I asked her to complete my cut and then solve the problem since that client was just sitting anyway and deciding if she wants to pay or not for some service. Before that I was offered some other hair stylist to take care of me. I actually had an appointment with Paula, so why do I want to go to the other one? Second time I also was offered to go to the other hair stylist because Paula was busy. However, I was specifically call her to setup an appointment with her and she scheduled the time, I was not walk in customer. So I left, decided to go to the other salon since I am a little tired of this 'service'. Also, when you setup an appointment - make sure you have correct one. For some reason, my appointment was setup for medium length hair and I have short. The difference in price: short - 35-45, med 45-60. I actually always leave not less than 20% tips, but somehow I do not feel good when someone is trying to take advantage of me, not providing the service and have put me in higher rate, not even asking me what length my hair is. About cut itself - it was not bad, when hair grows - it was not manageble, but for the a couple of weeks it was OK, that is why I wanted to try second time. Unfortunately it did not work. read more

My two elementary age boys love getting their hair cut from this place! I initially came in because of coupons that were mailed to us, but have come back every 3 weeks because the cuts have ranged from great to pretty good. My kids have mostly had their hair cut by Paula and Jeff. Paula is the owner and SUPER friendly and approachable. No attitude at all just because shes the most senior stylist. I love how they note the details of the haircut in their computer system so that the next stylist who cuts my boys' hair will know that they need a fade with a number 1 razor. One of my sons had one bad haircut here. He ended up with a bowl haircut (so short and straight in front) which to me is a horrible stereotypical look when you're an Asian kid. I guess I should have given better directions about what to do with his hair in front. Now I stay away from that stylist (don't know her name; she is older and heavy set). That's why I cant give 5 stars. But other than that one experience, it's a great place to get a cut. Because it's pretty new, there's hardly ever a wait! read more
