I have been going to Q nails for 8 years now. I have never had anything less than great service. The owner Angie is very nice and does a great job. I have gone to several other business to get my nails done prior to here and no ones work compares to hers. She amazes me that she remembers all of her customers names. Place seemed ok. Clean, got 4 of us together in fairly quickly. But when the technician turned on the jet in the basin, water came like a fountain into my lap. None of the other people who worked there came to help and by the time she got the water off, I was soaked from waist to knees. I didn't make a huge deal. Laughed mostly, but one quick apology and that was it. Rest of my plans for afternoon with my mom and daughters were ruined because I now had to go home. I had gone here for about a year ....but have stopped going. The service was very bad last time I was there. The owner (I believe) was very rude to me - tried to tell me that I had not informed her of the services I had received before paying. I had told the girl who helped me. After that I started going to another salon - I don't need to be treated rudely when treating myself to a mani/pedi. Also, once I saw the cleaning done at the new place I started going to, I realized QNails was not cleaned/sanitized as well as it could have been. I will not go back here. read more

We had a great experience here. Very friendly and accommodating. Three of us have gone a few times and everything seemed clean and instruments sanitized. We were happy with pedicures and manicures. I go here every two weeks. It's the kind of place where they remember your name and are always happy to get you in. If you get the pedi, get the deluxe! Extra salt scrub rub and leg/foot massage is what keeps me coming back. Also, excellent eye brow waxing services. I cannot read these negative reviews written about Q Nails and not leave my thoughts about the incident that happened with the young lady that is confined to a wheelchair. First off I do feel for her and can't imagine how hard life is for her. That being said it is or should be common sense that in order to have a pedicure you have to be able to get into and sit safely in the pedicure chair. A manicure could be given to someone confined to a wheelchair but there is no way that they could give a pedicure without being seated in the pedicure chairs and the individual needs to be able to sit without the risk of falling out. A wheelchair accessible entrance is exactly that...A wheelchair will be able to get thru the door. I don't believe any other Nail Salon could have provided her with a pedicure either. This WAS NOT discrimination against a handicaped individual it was COMMON SENSE! I have been going here for years and have NEVER seen any of the girls there be even the least bit rude to any customer. I use to lived just a few blocks from the Salon but moved several miles away in January and still come back here even though there are many other Nail Salons much closed to me now. Please DO NOT pass judgement on Q Nails...they did NOTHING wrong. read more

I have been going to Q nails for several years and they have been able to treat anyone as best as they can, from disabled to non disabled individuals. Even to the point where they have used pillows to support people having low back issues. None of the ladies there have ever been disrespectful to anyone that has walked through the door. There are various issues that the women are trained in so they know what areas/individuals can be worked on and those that are unable to be worked on. For instance, anyone pregnant within their first trimester should avoid pedicures/manicures. After the second trimester starts, manicures and pedicures are able to take place. Individuals with blood clotting disorders should watch what they can have worked on so make the ladies aware of what you may have regarding health and they are able to work around it. read more

I saw this post about Q Nail and just wanted everyone to know the truth. This is a place I have been going to for over 10 years and have watched them service handicapped people if at all possible. From my understanding from the owner which I know very well said the young girl had to be picked up and put into the chair. After seeing the young girl was unable to support herself in the pedicure chair they were afraid she would slip out and fall. As she needed to be strapped into her own chair as not to fall out. Please know that this business is welling to service any person they feel is safe in their care. I haven't been to any nail spa that is able to accommodate someone unable to support themselves in a pedicure chair. Not sure they even manufacture this type of chair. However my heart goes out to the young girl and hope they find a spa with a handicap pedicure care. read more

I have been going here for over 14 years. The service has always been warm and friendly. They absolutely do not refuse treatment to people with disabilities. I have seen them service many clients in wheel chairs, walkers etc. they were wonderful to me during chemo and radiation treatments. I truly believe there was a language barrier that caused hurt feelings on both sides of this issue. The staff was afraid of hurting the young lady not knowing her medical condition, not because she was handicapped. To have others post negative postings just to hurt a small hard working business is not necessary. This staff goes out of their way to make their customers happy. read more

Very unhappy with manicure & pedicure at Qnails. My nails had many major flaws when completed. I asked to have it fixed, got major attitude & barely an attempt to correct. I came here because I saw a lot of good reviews, and had a horrible experience. I was rushed through, and when I could see through the nails to nail polish that wasn't removed, and the woman got hot pink nail polish spots from her fingers on my white tips, she got mad that I asked her to fix it, and acted like I was being ridiculous. She also completely missed parts of my toenails on my pedicure and I can see her fingerprints. read more
