I did have an early appointment and since having never been here before I arrived early so I wouldn't be late. They did open their doors a little early before they actually opened. I didn't want to be that customer/client who tries to get in early so I just waited lol The woman at the front desk was super nice and helped me check in and let me know that Katie would just be a moment while she prepped her station for me. I had been up since 5am and really didn't want to fall asleep because I wanted to know what the process was and what was being done. Small chit chat didn't keep my attention so I did almost fall asleep. The service was fine? I guess? My lashes on the left eye like didn't take? Not sure if it was because of how it was done or the product that was used? The right eye seemed to work fine. I thought maybe I just needed to put on mascara to really see the difference. I followed after care instructions to a tee! Didn't touch, didn't put on make up for over 24 hours, didn't have them touch water, didn't sleep on my face... The next day my left lashes were pretty much flat compared to my right eye. Ugh. I did get a follow up call to see how my lashes were doing but I was at my bridal shower so there was no way I was gonna stop partying to take that call. I did follow up with them that Monday about how they turned out. They said I could come in so they could fix it for me. I thought, oh wow awesome! They asked for a time that would be best. I said it would be cutting it close for 3:45pm since I get off work at 3:30pm but they said they'd still take me if I got there no later than 3:48pm or something. So they put me on the book for a lash lift fix and I get the email to confirm. So that day I was scheduled, I HAUL ASS because I know time is money, only to be told that they wouldn't be able to do anything. What. Why have me drive out there to tell me that? This could've been a phone call. I get they need to see the lashes but... this could've been communicated to me beforehand. I felt like it was such a waste of my time and money. And then I was told I could come back in the recommended 4 weeks, but I'd still have to pay the same amount... lol why would I pay for a service that didn't work the first time? They offered to comp $20 but that was after I asked. It's just shocking they don't stand by their product. I have gotten my hair done at multiple places (I've moved around a lot), nails done at multiple locations and they offer to fix that service and comp it (if there's anything wrong, which is rare but at least it's offered) And those services are much more expensive than a $70 lash lift. It was really shocking. Take what you will from this review, but I will not be coming back.

On our appointment day, we took advantage of the first wax free. When we arrived, we were greeted kindly and felt welcomed. My partner had all of his information correct in the system, but mine had to be redone, which was a little frustrating. Thankfully, his appointment was first, so at least it wasn't too terrible. My wax, which I had my eyebrows done, was great. I really appreciated the attention to detail on not just wax, but also making them less long and plucking the stragglers well. I also have a piercing, and the care around it was well-appreciated. The room and table was comfortable, and it didn't feel awkward at all. The climate control was perfect too, which i greatly appreciate since many businesses are so cold to me! I definitely think we will be back! We may even sign up for a package deal.

Until now, the massage quality and overall experience had been good, and we consistently tipped well, typically $100 per massage therapist. We had a last-minute situation come up and missed our scheduled couples massage. Afterward, Aquarius charged us a total of $720, split into two separate transactions: $300 and $420. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies. However, charging loyal monthly clients $720 after one missed appointment feels excessive, aggressive, and completely out of proportion to the situation. For us, this destroyed the goodwill they had built over months of repeat business. We will not be returning. I am filing complaints with the appropriate agencies in Missouri and I would strongly caution others to be very careful before doing business with Aquarius Health & Wellness. I also have serious concerns about their card-on-file and customer data practices. Since they were able to charge our card after the missed appointment, customers should ask how their payment information is being stored, who has access to it, and whether Aquarius Health & Wellness is properly following applicable data security and payment card compliance standards.
