My partner and I ordered two burrito bowls from here and are happy to announce we've found our new spot for burrito bowl delivery! Our food came quickly and was accompanied by several delicious salsas to use. Our bowl had white rice, black beans, birria as the meat and onion, lettuce, corn, cucumber, cotija cheese, sour cream, guacamole sauce (so good) and mixed cheese melted on top. The balls were filling and extremely healthy. They reheat well and the meat was tender and delicious. It had the perfect amount of add-ins mixed together. The only thing we noticed was the rice was a little undercooked but aside from that everything was great. Will definitely be ordering from here again! read more

A solid, no-frills Mexican spot serving all the classics you'd expect. It reminded me of the taquerias back on the west side of Chicago. I had the carne asada burrito and shrimp tacos. The burrito was solid, generously portioned for the price, and everything tasted fresh. The shrimp tacos were also fresh and above average. The salsas on the side were a standout, each one uniquely good in its own way and reminiscent of the salsa bars at San Francisco taquerias. The owner is a super nice guy, and the food came out very fast. The only reason this is a 4-star instead of 5 is that I still prefer the carne asada burrito at Taqueria Al Pastor in Bushwick. Really yummy spot for birria! I tried the tacos and was impressed by how filling they were, nice crunch on the outside shell, and delicious beef with consommé. I haven't had guac in a birria taco before but it worked and felt like a steal for the price. I'd definitely get takeout again, delish! read more

I ordered on uber eats tried the loaded nachos they were very fresh, but I found there was too much lettuce and not enough beans. The flavors were decent, but it could use a bit more balance. I also tried the birra consommé, which was quite watery and lacked much flavor. That said, I absolutely loved the mangonada it's honestly one of the best I've had and definitely the highlight of my meal. Absolutely crazy experience. Angel greeted us right off the bat and helped with our questions and made us feel welcomed. The set up of the resturant feels inviting and lively as well. BUT THE FOOD?!?! We order uns cemitas de Milanese de res and a quesadilla de pollo, plain. And there was nothing plain about this. It was some of the most seasoned and marinated chicken I've ever had in my life. I utterly groaned. It gave me the most dopamine I've had in years and for that I will always return. So yeah. Really good burrito!! I got the chicken al pastor and it was really good and totally huge! I took half home. I spoke to Alex who was working behind the counter- he was very nice & said everything is made in house. He said the mole enchiladas & al pastor tacos are his favorite, so that's what I'll get next time! read more

Food was incredible, I've been there twice and had salted beef, chicken tinga taco and empanada, and spicy pork. I recommend all of them (my fave was the lasted pork. Also the fresh juices go great with the tacos Service was just as good. Everything made fresh, the gentleman running the front was very kind, offered recommendations. The owner very humble, great personality , made you feel welcome. The food was amazing, delicious and made me want more. Very Authentic Mexican food Best in the area. The Mangonada very delicious didn't make it in the picture it was gone immediately, it was like eating a fresh mango and the candy hit the spot. Definitely a 10/10 can't wait to try the entire menu. I like this place. It's nothing fancy, but the food is good, and the price isn't exorbitant. The place is run by a father and son. They're both friendly. I come here on occasion when I'm at the corner bar, so they let me place my order, then come back in 20 minutes to pick-up and pay for everything. I usually get tacos, but I'll change things up on occasion. I can't say as I have a favorite, but that's not a negative. They all taste good. Also, for a Mexican place, they have a surprisingly good burger. I'll usually grab a Blazing Burger when the mood strikes. A beef patty with jalapeno, bacon, and spicy mayo. Damn good! My only small complaint is I always ask for no cilantro, and most of the time they put it on anyway. I don't like the taste, and picking it off is annoying. Ambiance is pretty standard for a small, neighborhood place with cheap food. It's clean, but nothing spectacular. read more
