    3 Piece Birria Taco
    Raia S.

Really yummy spot for birria! I tried the tacos and was impressed by how filling they were, nice crunch on the outside shell, and delicious beef with consommé. I haven't had guac in a birria taco before but it worked and felt like a steal for the price. I'd definitely get takeout again, delish!

I ordered on uber eats tried the loaded nachos they were very fresh, but I found there was too much lettuce and not enough beans. The flavors were decent, but it could use a bit more balance. I also tried the birra consommé, which was quite watery and lacked much flavor. That said, I absolutely loved the mangonada it's honestly one of the best I've had and definitely the highlight of my meal. Despite some ups and downs, I would order again, mainly for that incredible mangonada.

Absolutely crazy experience. Angel greeted us right off the bat and helped with our questions and made us feel welcomed. The set up of the resturant feels inviting and lively as well. BUT THE FOOD?!?! We order uns cemitas de Milanese de res and a quesadilla de pollo, plain. And there was nothing plain about this. It was some of the most seasoned and marinated chicken I've ever had in my life. I utterly groaned. It gave me the most dopamine I've had in years and for that I will always return. So yeah. Come on over, feel welcomed, watch a game or a novela and eat some food cooked with the love you've been deprived of. Because you can find it at Q Rico No Manches. A wide variety of food and it opened up my mind and pallets I'm grateful this place exists and I wish to share this joy I have found with you.

Really good burrito!! I got the chicken al pastor and it was really good and totally huge! I took half home. I spoke to Alex who was working behind the counter- he was very nice & said everything is made in house. He said the mole enchiladas & al pastor tacos are his favorite, so that's what I'll get next time!

Most recent meal tacos and an empanada

Food was incredible, I've been there twice and had salted beef, chicken tinga taco and empanada, and spicy pork. I recommend all of them (my fave was the lasted pork. Also the fresh juices go great with the tacos Service was just as good. Everything made fresh, the gentleman running the front was very kind, offered recommendations. I did take out, but the restaurant its self was cozy and comfortable with good lighting. A large tv adding to that Can't wait to go back.

The owner very humble, great personality , made you feel welcome. The food was amazing, delicious and made me want more. Very Authentic Mexican food Best in the area. The Mangonada very delicious didn't make it in the picture it was gone immediately, it was like eating a fresh mango and the candy hit the spot. Definitely a 10/10 can't wait to try the entire menu. Would love to see them open in the mornings to try the Coffee and breakfast menu.

I never write reviews -- but this food was absolutely delicious!!! Coming from Texas, its hard to find comparable Mexican food in the North East, but this hit the spot. Wonderful owner as well!!! So kind! Will be coming back :)

No frills taco spot in Greenpoint that is very popular! Expect a line. The tacos are super fresh…read moreand the star of the show is definitely the meat. My favorite was easily the pastor as it was so well balanced. The tacos are self dressed, so you can decide what toppings to put on it. Something to note: the tacos are definitely on the smaller side compared to other places like Los tacos no. 1, so get an extra to account for that.

Taqueria Ramirez is a popular, authentic Mexico City-style taqueria in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, known…read morefor its tacos like al pastor, suadero, and tripa, often finished with a blowtorch for a crispy texture. Owned by Giovanni Cervantes and Tania Apolinar, the spot stands out for its real flavors, busy small vibe, and unique options like nopales and a rich dipping sauce. The owners opened it in 2021 to fill a gap in NYC's taco scene. I was in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, to pick up an order from the popular fish spot Piscator. I wanted to check out the food scene there and did some research, which led me to Taqueria Ramirez because it's so popular. When we got there, there was a line, but it moved pretty fast. The place has an open kitchen where you can see all the food being made. They offer toppings, but you add them yourself from a table of condiments. I got two Pastor Tacos, a Suadero, Longaniza, and the famous Tripa taco, which is pig intestines. The Pastor tacos had big chunks of meat that were super tasty and flavorful. The Suadero tasted similar to the Pastor, but it was still packed with flavor. I wasn't really a fan of the Longaniza; the flavors didn't do much for me. If you like bold tastes, you might like it. I also didn't love the Tripa -- the texture was off, and it was too soft. They blowtorch the Tripa to make it crispy, but I didn't really get the crunch I expected. Overall, this place makes some really good tacos, and I'd definitely go back to try their Gringa Al Pastor Tacos, which are only available on Tuesdays.
