I went to this nail spa for a mani-pedi. The nail tech did not understand English and spoke limited phrases. During the pedicure she would push and pull on my feet to either be placed in the water or bring out of the water. I tried to make polite conversation, but that was a waste of time. We then proceeded to my gel manicure and I have had many over the years. I was asking her questions about her process because she was not following any way I have had a gel manicure. I asked for two coats of the glitter polish and she said "no" it would be too thick. I went to wash my hands before the final process and she was gone, already working on another client. Four days after my gel manicure, it is already chipping and coming lose at my cuticles. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I initially came here because I followed my trusty nail tech here after he left a previous location. I have not been disappointed in the least. The staff is accommodating and friendly. I religiously get a Mani (gel) and Pedi every two weeks and have yet to have a bad experience. I work on my feet for 12 hours+ a day and they need to be well taken care of. They are at QD Nail Spa. It's a clean and friendly environment and often very busy so try to book an appointment in advance. The staff never greets me without a smile and I'm always offered a beverage. I've seen the managers (who are nail techs as well) walk around to check on the customers being worked on to see if anything is needed. I've seen first hand they are good at communicating whether or not there will be a long wait time for a walk-in. On occasion I bring my 10 year old daughter with me and she loves the special kids Pedi chairs they have! The nail techs are wonderful with children and she always feels special when she comes. My feet always look and feel pretty post a pedicure and I ALWAYS receive compliments on my nails at work! The owners are very good at assessing the skill level of their staff. So you may get someone different doing your pedicure vs manicure. Which I would rather than being forced to stick with one individual who may have a stronger skill set in one area over another. The owners and nail techs really do well in creating an environment where customers feel comfortable enough to freely engage in conversation all the time. This place is my treat for my feet! I have been to this location one time and actually received mediocre service. I left worn something opposite of what I went for (per the technician's recommendation) but it was ok. Thereafter, I have called and went to the location a few times to receive services, and each time I was not able to get what I needed. I go they say they don't have any openings, the gentlemen is outside smoking and acts like he doesn't want you to come in. They tell you they close, when the website clearly says they stay open until A certain time. Whomever the lady is answering the phone, is RUDE and that just happened today! This is the last time I am going to try to even go there! They blew it for me! I get that working in customer service can get overwhelming, but this is what they sign up for. This was our absolute best experience at a nail salon! My two friends and I went here and all got dip-manicures and the service was hands-down, the best my friends and I have experienced! If sanitation or soft feet after a pedicure are your expectation, My suggestion is to avoid this place. I will not go into detail but here is an overview of my traumatic experience. While getting my pedicure the tech dropped the instrument she was using on the floor. She then put it in the water with my feet to "clean" it. She then attempted to use it on my foot. I wanted to leave at that point but I didn't. I asked several times that she either clean it or use another one. She said it was clean Bc she put it in the water. When she filled the bin w clean water something went wrong and water went all over the floor. When I got up out of the chair to choose a color (she said I couldn't use the one I chose on my feet bc it wAs gel) it wAs as if I slipped on a banana peel. The floor was covered in wAter that she didn't get up. I hurt my back in all the commotion of trying not to hit the floor. I was able to catch myself and fall into the chair. More bad things happened but I will jump to the end. When I got ready to put on my shoesmy feet were hard and rough. I showed the tech and person who seemed to be the manager. They told me that the weAther made my feet rough. I said that I expect them to be soft after a pedicure, especially when I am still in your shop. Classic or basic manicure and pedi was $58. I was racially profiled recently with them. I have been coming to them within the past couple of months and I was asked to pay before my service was not even complete or started on. They have never done that. They also did not as the Caucasian women to do the same because I had asked them. I asked why was I asked for payment when my service is not completed and the woman said that's policy. I Said If It was policy, why the past times i have come here no one else has asked me to pay. I just wanted a general understanding from the woman I spoke with and she was not understanding and she pressed the issue of me paying for my toes. I had no issue paying for my toes because she did service me, but my issue was the fact she asked for the payment for my nails before a service was even done. I told what she said to me to another worker and she honestly looked as if she wanted to say they do not do that, but she never did. She was not understanding either. I got a pedicure here this afternoon and the nail tech cut my right toe. He immediately, without asking or getting my permission, put an unknown substance on it, when I ask what he'd just put on my open wound he couldn't tell me (which had me very freaked out since I am pregnant). It was a faded bottle and all he could make out was the manufacturer. The cut did not clot for almost 20 mins!! I've had many, many pedicures in my life and have never had such a deep cut, and had someone care so little about it. I asked how they sanitize their tools and was provided an extremely vague answer ("we clean them"). He seemed like I was inconveniencing him with my inquiry! I am very concerned about infection and have my doubts about the cleanliness here... Stay away if you're expecting a cut free, sanitary pedicure!! read more

I went in for a mani/pedi. I had never been there before. I walked in and there was only one other person getting her nails done and three other ladies that worked there. I told them what I wanted and they took me to the chair. I enjoy going to get my nails done special treat to myself. I enjoy the relaxing experience. I have never felt less relaxed and rushed. They said they both worked on me because it takes less time. I am sorry if It would take more time but be jerked around and a light set on my lap was not relaxing I couldn't even stretch my legs or close my eyes.
