I had a Vegetarian Bowl to-go with a bag of chips & salsa--all that for under $10! This is what I love about QDOBA: great food, affordable price, worth a visit or two! This is the first Qdoba I ever went to, when I was hanging out with a friend on my birthday last year. Back then it left a good impression on me, it was like a Chipotle but the food was actually warm and there was free guac and it also had queso! So I thought I'd come back in for another try after my bank visit today, since this is only a couple hundred feet from the Denver Community Credit​ Union. Completely empty when I went in, and the food had tasted like it had been completely empty for awhile and was just sitting there. I got the grilled steak burrito, and the steak wasn't warm and didn't taste like steak at all, more like cube shaped meat nuggets. I couldn't really taste the guac, and when they were scooping it up, looked like some green slime. I added in jalapenos(because usually I love them), and they just kinda ruined every bite they were....sweet. Like someone decided they should marinate jalapenos in leftover sweet pickle vinegar and sweet pickles are just the worst, 0 spice at all. When it was all packed in, I ended up with a square burrito. Burritos aren't supposed to be square they're supposed to be long and rectangular. When I asked for some salsa in those little to go cups he just told me to get the ones at the utensils stand. Cholula isn't the Mexican salsa I want, I want something chunky I can pour on every bite. So this places averages out to a 3. 4 the first time I went 2 the 2nd time. read more

I'm not sure what came first, Qdoba or Chipotle but Qdoba is just as good, or maybe better... Different seasonings make everything taste different from Chipotle but it's the same assembly line format employed there. The fact that both black and pinto bean choices at Qdoba are Vegetarian unlike Chipotle earns them my business if I had to choose between the two. I wish there was one local to me. This is a really convenient location for me but almost every time I go in the employees are very unfriendly with me but chatty and smiling when speaking Spanish with other customers... I don't mind the Spanish I just always feel like my business is unwanted. My other beef is that they are so stingy with the ingredients- the burritos are 8-9$ but mine is always as skinny as the 1$ Taco Bell special. The one time I asked for more shredded beef, please, the lady stared at me at picked up one- exactly one- piece of meat and put it on there then continued. Gee thanks. One of the worst customer service experiences. I went there to pickup my mobile app order at 10:13pm. I stood at the pickup area and no one came to help me or even acknowledge that I was there. There were 4 employees there that I could see and not a single one of them asked if I needed help, if I had placed an order, no one said they would be right with me. No acknowledgment whatsoever. After 5-6 minutes or more, one employee asked for the name on the order in the pickup area (behind the counter where a customer could not access it). The other employee stated my name, still not looking at me, and when I waved my phone to indicate it was me, she laughed and said that I did not say anything. No apology, just laughing and then starts telling a nearby employee and the customer she was serving that I did not say anything (in Spanish, which she did not know that I understood). Why would I interrupt her and the other 3 employees that were helping the 1 other customers in the entire place at that time? He was picking up a mobile order too and they did not have it ready; they were scrambling trying to get his done. All someone had to do was apologize that they were behind, and to give them just a minute. Or ask if I had a mobile order and in 5 seconds, hand me my bag. This was awful and I wouldn't have said anything if the employees did not laugh about it like it was a joke: placing blame on me, instead of them taking accountability for their poor service. So its pretty much like a Chipote. Pretty simple, tacos burritos and salads. Service here was pretty fast since there wasnt many people in the restaurant. Okay, this Qdoba has better flavor than the Chipotle that I've recently been to. But I'm still a Chipotle lover. My friends have been trying to steer me into their teams: Team Qdoba, Team Chipotle. But why not both, right? My friend recently had Qdoba catered into her party and I was super excited to take the leftovers home. This Qdoba has totally challenged me NOT to gain 150+ pounds. Their cheeses are very variety-oriented and they often promote their new cheese specials weekly, from what I understand. I love the portion sizes. They are definitely more than their counter-competition. I love the utter freshness the next day when I use as leftovers. They don't rot as quick as Chipotle does. I loooove the guacamole here a lot more for some unknown reason?? The staff is pretty staffed, and there seems to have no short hands. When we paid for our order, I asked the employee to give me a receipt with the code so I could claim it on my app as I was not able to pull up the QR code and he did not know how to do that. He printed a copy of the receipt that had no code and then just said there was nothing he could do and dismissed me, moving to help the next customer. I was not allowed to speak to a manager. They established themselves on fresh mexican but are reverting to "Fresh, kind of". Changed Chip manufacturer, poor quality. Canned preserved Guac instead of made fresh. looking for a good, quick meal. My family and I were ahead of a two hour drive after just landing in Denver and wanted to grab a bite before hitting the road. We all normally love Qdoba so we went in with high hopes. My first impression of the store was sketchy at best. The floor was wet in most places with NO wet floor signs. There was ONE table that appeared clean enough to eat off of; the rest of the tables had not even attempted to be cleaned. The people behind the counter were MUCH LESS than friendly or enthusiastic about their jobs. We tried to tell the manager about the water on the floor to hopefully avoid someone getting hurt and he just rolled his eyes. This is what I emailed qdoba corporate today 04/15/2017 : 'You can improve this location by having a new, competent manager. I haven't been to this location in over 2 1/2 years because of the lack of professional, friendly, & knowledgeable management. I've been driving to the northfield location because of multiple negative visits throughout the years. I also rarely eat qdoba anymore because of the raise in prices and horrendous experiences at this chambers location. I decided to come here because I was really craving qdoba and this location is super close to me... BUT was wary before even coming in and was proved right. The guy doing my meal was ok and I have no complaints. My issue is the blond female manager or franchise owner, she checked me out and when I went to use my free chips and salsa, I was informed I needed to go through the processs of downloading the app, after her already wasting 3 minutes not knowing what the issue was. After that, I spent 7 minutes downloading and trying to log in while she ignored me and checked out everyone else in line, mind you, all for a chips and salsa. When I finally completed the process and tried to use my qdoba card, she was still having trouble and then tells me I have use the app and choose what I want to use with my points... which aggravates the woman behind me and when everything is said and done, I go to grab my food, the woman behind me snaps and tells me to not touch her food... this all the manger's fault. My experience at this location has been the worst I've ever encountered and the last time I wrote you guys, over 2 years ago, I got no resolution. It's a shame one person and one location can ruin the entire experience of even eating at qdoba. I'm byond over it and the chance I took yesterday solidified my decision to NOT patronise your establishments.' I'm just warning anyone that likes qdoba to go to another location, it's worth the drive. My issue last time was 1/4 of the steak on the scoop had fallen off the top and I asked for them to make up for the lost meat and was informed rudely, by the same woman, that it would be extra and that she 'saw' nothing. I was here and ordered some queso and found a long hair in it which was the opposite color of mine. I brought it up to the manager, who went to inspect it and didn't even apologize (she didn't believe me) and she wouldn't give me a refund. Instead she gave me a coupon. I was pretty disgusted since the hair was really long. I noticed the employees had their hair up but the fact that there was a hair in queso makes me wonder, 1. How long it was there, 2. Why was it even there and 3. Why they were still using the same batch of queso after I brought it up. I went in for a quick dinner. Usually go to Chipoltle, but this was on my way home. The MANAGER ( she said her name was Miriam) was standing on the line, coughing over the food, the servers, and the customers! when I told her that she shouldn't be handling food if she is sick, she got an attitude and explained to me that she had no other choice and I could contact the regional manager if I wanted to. She also said that they weren't allowed to wear a mask when ill to protect the patrons! I don't really know what is happening at any restaurant in the kitchen, but if they will cough all over you, your food and each other in front of the custmer, I don't want to know what these people do in the back!!!
