I am surprised I have never written a review about this Torchy's location. We come here fairly often and love the food and staff! When we first started going to this location is was like a black hole for internet connection. They have since fixed that, which is nice. This is a great location to watch some sports. We go on Sundays sometimes to watch football games and enjoy some delicious cocktails and tacos. Their queso is bomb! I just love this location so much. The bar garage doors open and invite a nice breeze during nice summer and spring days. The tacos are always on point and loaded. I just really enjoy this location a lot. read more

We ordered takeout so can't comment on the ambiance of the restaurant. If you are ordering takeout, ordering the Family Pack is the way to go! The tacos are always great but this way you won't have to worry about your tortillas getting soggy from all the toppings and sauces. We ordered the Family Pack Crossroads with Combo Tortillas and Hillbilly Queso & Chips. We order to cheese dip every time and love the fresh chips. The side avocados were all browned and the beef brisket in the Crossroads pack was cold and had to be warmed up, which was disappointing. We live only 5 minutes away and the restaurant wasn't busy at time of pickup. Overall, not a bad experience. read more

Still a solid 2 stars because orders are consistently wrong. We get Torchy's about 1/month or so, and the main order has been ok, but they never put guac in the queso anymore. I have complained multiple times and gone back in, and they will give me a little side of guac, but the past two times, I just didn't feel like the hassle and ate the queso without it. It's ridiculous at this point. I honestly think they do it on purpose to cost cut or something and just wait to see if someone notices. If you don't want to add it, please just take it off of the menu description. I want to get what I ordered! read more

Dined at Torchy's Taco tonight and I would give it 3.75 stars, but will round up to 4. Service : 4 stars. After placing the order our food was out within 5 mins. Food: the chips and 3 dips were really good. The Baja Shrimp tacos were really good, the steak fajita wasn't that good. The steak was tough. My brisket taco was pretty good too. We visited on a Sunday and we found parking right away. There was no line when we got there. We ordered a grilled shrimp taco and my boyfriend ordered the fried shrimp taco and the beef Democrat taco. I liked both the shrimp tacos they were good with the pickled veggies. The queso was really good and flavorful and a little spicy; I really liked it! The churros were also really good and I liked the crunchy texture with the dulce de leche sauce. On Cinco de Mayo weekend, I recommended our tournament baseball team eat here for lunch between games. Torchy's tacos used to be, at this at least at this location, a slightly upscale place to grab Mexican. Like a Mexican Tokyo Joe's. -1 for no human being checking you in and having to check in on 2 screens with so many options that it takes forever to get through them all with people in the line behind you. -1 for room temperature, probably two or three day old brisket in a seven dollar taco. -1 for combination of workers standing around and an option to "add a tip" on the checkout screen. Torchys queso is the bomb! Ordered one of the family platters with beef. It came with all the fixings and an extra beans was even thrown in. Could have used more tortillas based on the amount of toppings which is not a bad problem to have I suppose. Was pleased with the quick to go service and quality of everything. Have only eaten a couple times in person but this location is really nice with comfortable outdoor seating. We've had torchy's tacos at other locations and enjoyed it but this one was particularly atrocious. 4 of us got food and all felt like the food was low quality and not cooked well but this was not my particular issue. The staff were rude, disrespectful, inattentive, and all together terrible from the start. When we first walked in the place was empty except for one other small group. The two employees (one I later learned was the manager) were talking and laughing and did not acknowledge us upon entering. We waited 10 minutes at the register waiting to order and eventually went to them asking to order. They just seemed irritated we interrupted their fun conversation to make them work. The guy taking the order forgot to order multiple things such as chips and queso, etc (we had to reorder several times to get the items) When I ordered I told him multiple times that I had food allergies and asked if it was possible to get it without those ingredients which he reassured me was fine.When the meal came out, these allergens were on the taco (and were noted to be removed on the receipt which I showed them) and they refused to remake it without the allergens and the manager stated they could not accommodate individual needs. I let them know that maybe they should not say it is alright and note it on the receipt (as well as other locations did it just fine) and she said I should just be less picky (allergies are not being picky). All in all very disgusted with the service here and will probably not return to any torchy tacos locations ever again. read more

This location is one of my favourites around town. Plenty of parking so call on all of your friends to join you for some tacos! With a pretty sweet menu this place has it going on. The Democrat and the Baja shrimp tacos are some of the best in my opinion. Recently I joint their rewards program and have scored some free tacos and queso. They do have catering as well so that helped me get the points to get the free food. Came here on Monday night. They have a big selection of tacos. Ordering is very easy. The lady cashier wasn't too friendly but she did her job. Food came out really fast. I liked their selection of drinks, I tried the mango juice and dark cherry grape juice. I like all their tacos since I've been here multiple times. Today I got the Baja shrimp, tipsy chick which was a little spicy but not bad, democrat and chicken fajita. They're always packed with flavor. They're definitely not skimpy and 2 to 3 always fills me up even with my healthy appetite. Prices are ok. My neighbor grew up in Texas and was fortunate to have a Torchy's food truck in her area. She went on and on about how their tacos and amazing and somewhat authentic and out of this world. Tonight I was blessed with two tacos and chips and queso ... I am a suppppppeeeerrrr picky eater whenever it comes to tacos and "Mexican" food in general. But Torchy's ... this was extremely well done, and could tell they cared about their food, reputation and quality. The queso dip they offer is something out of this world. It's sweet, spicy and so flavorful! I have NEVER been this impressed. I also was given a Democrat taco ... was not a fan until I poured the avocado spread on top of the taco. I also got a green chili pork carnitas taco .... HANDS down one of the greatest concoctions I've ever had. I didn't even need to green chili on top to give it flavor, it was flavorful all on its own. The only reason I would give this place a 4 is because of the tacos. They were flavorful, filling, and very big. 2 is enough to fill you. I'd also recommend the chorizo queso.
