Came in on a weekday for my birthday and, despite the hustle and bustle vibe, I got bar seating right away! The complementary tiny arancino was a wonderful start to a delicious meal. I thought the carpaccio was delightful, as was the Gricia pasta - both were balanced and flavorful. But the star of the show was the fried artichokes, with its bold, tangy, unapologetic lemony flavors!! For desert, I couldn't miss a chance to enjoy the pistachio gelato, which was heaven in a bowl, I will be thinking about this frozen treat for a long time! The complementary birthday chocolate and candle were a nice touch. While the hosts by the entrance appeared distracted and cold in their greeting, the rest of the staff were wonderful and provided helpful recommendations. I'll definitely come back when I'm in Detroit!

We made reservations a few weeks prior online. Got seated quickly. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful and so was the sommelier. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool restaurant with a central bar, and bathroom was decorated cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cocktails were good- had the violets turning violet and it was kinda like a whiskey sour- very tasty. And the wine was really good. Got a mix of lots of food- it was all DELICIOUS! Our waitress was really helpful with pointing out what options had dairy or not. Some of the standouts were the carpaccio- was so good with parm and crispy capers, the cappelletti alle fave- my husband said it was so creamy, the fried artichokes, and scallops- they did half of them in a nondairy sauce to accommodate. The dessert was soooo good- we had the torta di cioccolato- it had chocolate cake and balsamic strawberries and a toasted meringue- I would come back just for that dessert.

Came here to celebrate my cousin's graduation and the whole experience was pitch perfect! Our table of 7 split a number of different starters which were all excellent. We did two orders each of the focaccia (the whipped gorgonzola served with it was SO good), the farinata (the chickpea pancake), the artichokes, and the asparagus. My mom and I also decided to order separate pasta dishes and split them, I went with the carbonara and she went with the stuffed shells (conchiglie alla norcina). Hands down my favorites were the artichokes and the asparagus. So fresh and flavorful! The stuffed shells were also quite good and quite a hearty portion. Admittedly my least favorite dish was my carbonara. It was very pepper forward which I'm not super crazy about. I anticipated that given the base is their cacio e pepe but I was curious to try it as the chef intended but for me it was a bit too much. It was still very good, but next time I'd ask them to go a little easy on those extra pepper grings to match my personal palate a little better. For dessert we split the dark chocolate gelato and it was so good and VERY rich. Perfect for splitting. Our server (whose name I forgot which is a bummer) was so great! She explained she was in training and to forgive any mistakes but there were none! She knocked it out of the park. My cousin (the celebrant) also has several nut allergies and they were incredibly accommodating and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was good for her. They also offered little touches for celebrations which were quite nice and made us happy we selected them for the special occasion. They sweetly added some congrats messaging to my cousin on her dessert, gave her a greeting card signed by the whole staff, and a bag of their milled flour for pancakes as a little parting gift. She felt very spoiled and it was very sweet! Overall, it was an incredible experience. Looking forward to my next visit already! Especially when celebrating a special occasion!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Not a very big space but had additional seating outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had a great waiter who explained the menu and every dish. We were told that the restaurant is famous for its home made paste. And produce is source from local farms. I liked everything I tried. But portions are not big. Focaccia bread with a cheese spread was very good. Zuccini appetizer with burrata insides spread were excellent. We tried a couple different pasta dishes and they were good. Lots of flavor. We finished off with a pistachio gelato and I liked it very much.

Great place to bring back fond memories of Rome! We started with the chick pea pancakes, secondi was the Amatriciano pasta (pasta perfectly el denti and right flavor), main dishes we had fish and scallops. The scallops were the star of the evening - well so was the pasta. Warning only 3 scallops but they were best I have ever eaten. The whole fish was great too. Do not shy away from the sautéd kale with the fish, it was FANTASTIC! We had the fried artichokes for a veggie! GREAT! Cocktails the aperol spritz and my wife had one with basil. Both very good. I had the one with compari too but I did not like it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was updated casual and fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service top notch - compliments to Kaylee. Chef, the chickpea pancake should be thinner. Great dish but pancakes was too dry. Suggestion: make sure you order the rosemary bread for the table! It is to die for! We will be back and highly recommend SheWild!

Tried the tasting menu at SheWolf and it was definitely a memorable experience. It's one of the pricier tasting menus in the area, but they do deliver on quantity and variety -- we had 12 dishes total, including a few appetizers, two pastas, two mains, a side, and two small desserts. Appetizers included bread and polenta, beet salad, and a wagyu carpaccio we said we liked from the menu. We also really enjoyed the pastas - perfectly al dente with really thoughtful sauces, with the bone marrow ravioli being a favorite. Our clear favorite was the lamb shank, which was rich, tender, and full of flavor. A few of the other bites were interesting but not necessarily things I would choose again, which is part of why I'm a little torn on whether the tasting menu is worth it compared to ordering à la carte. If you're someone who wants to pick your favorites from the menu, going à la carte might be a better value. That said, I still really enjoyed the experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was well paced, and the space feels intimate and beautiful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're in the mood to splurge and try a wide range of what SheWolf does best, the tasting menu is a great experience!

Came here for an anniversary. Our server was great and walked us through the menu and helped us understand all the items. Pasta was the best flavors and textures I have had in metro detroit. The only dish I would not get again is the fish. The lemon and skin helped but fish itself had little flavor. If you like something lighter, fish might be a good choice

A little taste of Rome in Detroit. This place is absolutely amazing. I was beyond wowed when celebrating my birthday here. Everything single thing from the service, ambiance, drinks and food were outstanding. We opted for the chefs tasting menu. They did not bat an eye at my gluten free and nut allergy requirements. They were beyond accommodating and never made me feel like a nuisance. Every bite we took was perfection. I don't even know half of what I ate but damn was it all delicious. Its hard to decide what I love most, both pastas we had were outstanding, cacio de pepe and arribiarita with theit handmade gluten free chickpea pasta. I also was blown away by dessert. We had this chocolate coconut tartufo that had shaved truffles on top. That sounds crazy, I know! But my goodness was it heaven. This meal came with a heafy price tag and iys certainly not in everyones budget. However, I would rather splurge here for a special occasion than have a mediocre meal somewhere else. We cannot wait to come back!

Excellent meal! Server was patient and helpful. Glass of Merlot w Linguini Al Granchio (pasta w blue crab all over!) and Carciofi Fritters (artichoke fried w lemon) and for dessert, take out for tomorrow Torta Agli Agrumi, now in the freezer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not rushed a bit loud w good music for us 5 ladies trying to talk in the corner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall a truly wonderful meal!!

One of the most incredible chef's menus ever! Stated as "5 courses", but each course comes with a handful of dishes so you're really trying more like 12+ dishes. You also won't leave hungry! Delicious way to try a lot of food, and I thought it was cool that if there's anything on their menu that catches your eye, you can request it to be included. We let chef decide on our experience, and loved it! You could taste the quality in the food, and I enjoyed some unique and elevated flavors. Courses take you across a journey of apps, pastas, meat & seafood, and dessert. No misses, and just a lot of amazing food. There doesn't seem to be a specific dress code here, but there were some folks dressed very nicely (suit and ties, dresses, heels, the whole works). Also folks in tshirts and leggings. In any case, I appreciate their welcoming, friendly, and non-pretentious atmosphere!

Absolutely Blown Away - A Birthday Celebration to Remember at SheWolf! My best friend took me to SheWolf to celebrate my birthday, and I'm still not over how incredible the entire experience was--from the ambiance to the service to the unreal food. The decor is stunning--chic yet warm. We were offered a beautiful outdoor table surrounded by flowers, but opted to sit inside since it was a hot and humid evening. Honestly, either option would've been lovely. Our waiter, Bryan, was phenomenal. One of the best I've ever encountered. He was extremely attentive, gave thoughtful recommendations, and made the whole experience feel special. A+ service all the way. We went with the chef's curated tasting menu and shared our dietary restrictions--my friend is vegetarian and I'm pescatarian--and the team seamlessly accommodated both of us. I lost count after the seventh course because every dish that came out was a revelation. Each course brought new flavors, textures, and ingredients I'd never experienced before. It was like culinary storytelling--beautifully plated and masterfully executed. To top it off, they surprised me with a candle in what I can confidently say was the best gelato I've ever had--and yes, that includes the one I had in Italy last year. If you haven't been to SheWolf yet, you're truly missing out. Perfect for date nights, celebrations, or if you're simply craving phenomenal food that'll leave you speechless. Can't wait to go back! P.S. When I arrived, I was greeted with the sweetest surprise--a birthday card signed by the entire SheWolf team. Such a thoughtful and personal touch that truly made the night even more special. So cute and classy!

Dinner club choice this month didn't disappoint. I have to admit, j needed pictures for the menu items because I'm not familiar with the descriptions. So as a table of 5 who have never been here we chose the Chef Curated 5 course meal. THE BEST CHOICE. You get a variety of items, some personal small plates and some table size to share. We all left full, happy, exposed to cuisine prepared differently than we're used to (in a good way) and each of us anticipating coming back. 10/10 Chefs Kiss

We came to SheWolf for our anniversary and they treated us SO well here! Walking in, the place was gorgeous! I was just taking it all in before even getting to the host stand. Because we made a reservation in advance they had a table ready for us and a card to celebrate our anniversary signed by everyone working that day I'm assuming. It was so sweet. I kept the card because little things like that just make me melt. To start, I had a glass of Rose which was very crisp and refreshing. We ordered the Wagyu Carpaccio as a starter and it was really incredible. The Wagyu was good and the hazelnuts and Parmesan were a nice balance of flavors in my mouth. Would get this again! For our meals we wanted to try their pasta, especially since the pasta is made FRESH in house! My bf ordered the Amatriciana and I ordered the Linguine Al Granchino. My pasta had blue crab, pine nuts, calabrian chili, and white wine. It was absolutely fantastic. The crab wasn't over powering but abundant and the pine nut gave just the right amount of crunch for texture change. This dish is something I dream about. Best pasta I've had in ages. Also, have to mention we ordered more drinks and my espresso martini was amazing. Smooth and rich and perfect amount of foam. They nailed it. Very pleased with our dinner here and had a wonderful anniversary celebration! Thank you to all the staff who took care of us. Highly recommend this place if you're in town!

Here is the lay of the land: Check in at the little red table in the center of the outdoor courtyard if you want "full service". - which means eating and drinking at a table with wait staff. It is not seat yourself at the outdoor tables, like we originally thought. There is a nice sized bar indoors and seating at the bar is first come first served. We ordered several of the small plate "snacks" and I can tell you that the hummus is not to be missed. It is served with (homemade?) tortilla chips that are absolutely addictive. They have lots of choices for wine, beer, and cocktails. Towards the back entrance of the property, there is a drink truck where you can also order "walkaway" food and drinks. Not entirely sure where you sit with the food/drinks you order, as most of the seating seemed reserved for full service. If you want to sit outside, all you have to do is order at the bar and they'll serve your drinks in plastic cups for you to take outside. The rhubarb pie punch was so delicious I had to order it twice! Probably one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. I also ordered the maurixio cattelan, which tasted like ginger ale. For a snack before dinner, we chose to get the burrata and it was so refreshing. The service was great and our bartender was super friendly! The logo with the little lamb is adorable. I was very pleasantly surprised! The space is beautiful, classy, and airy. We sat at the bar and had a nice chat -- the music was at a good volume. I only ordered wine -- their wine list is alright. Not bad for a bar that's clearly not wine-focused. My wife and a friend had cocktails and they both were good, particularly their espresso martini. For food, we shared patatas bravas, tortilla española, and croquetas de jamon, and they were all delicious. I'd legit come back for a full dinner. My only reason to not give this 5 stars is the drink service was very slow, even though the place wasn't busy. The two bartenders seemed friendly enough but weren't communicating very well, and kept forgetting to take and/or bring our orders. They could have been upfront about this, but our waiter didn't tell us until after bringing us drinks, letting us see the menus, and after he started to take our orders. We essentially had to ask---what *do* you have? One pet peeve of mine is that they give everyone low ball glasses for water with no ice and a single, narrow carafe of water for the entire table. We had to continuously ask for more water. I tried the espresso no-tini ($11), a mocktail. It was good, but came in cordial glass and was essentially just a shot of chilled espresso. The setas ($14) were listed as a local wild mushroom blend with garlic and lemon. It was probably about a half cup of mushrooms, grilled, and served in a saucer. Finally, the charcuterie y queso ($21) was meat, cheese, sourdough, mustard, pickles, and honey. Everything was very salty and with no variation. It needed balance with a soft cheese, spice, or more sweetness. My charcuterie plate didn't come out until about an hour plus after we ordered, after multiple asks. It's hard to justify the delay when it's just hard cheese and meat, they didn't have to cook, and there were few other customers. (Essentially, we forgot). I still had a wonderful time with my friends in a beautiful space, but I wouldn't come here to eat again.
