I usually get Chipotle but I keep getting coupons for QDOBA so I decided to try it out. Now, I'm regretting the fact I haven't tried QDOBA before. I got a burrito and a taco bowl. It's absolutely delicious. They have so many options for toppings and guacamole doesn't have an extra charge. The serving size is so big that you can make two meals out of it. And the price is great for the amount of food you get. Overall, great food for a great price. read more

This place is phenomenal for a quick bite. I can only comment on the service at the Ellicott city location because that is the only one I go to. The service here is excellent. The employees are always smiling, the lines move very fast even when it seems never ending. The restaurant area is always spotless, which amazes me because there is always a somewhat high school crowd hanging out inside. The food always seems fresh and is consistently flavorful. I have tried a little of everything and can honestly say I have enjoyed it all. To top it off they sell Arizona Green Tea instead of some cheap coke or pepsi knock-off. The knock-off is still available but it's the Arizona that I love. The only down side to the location is well...location. There is not a lot of stores in the strip mall but the parking is minimal. Although if you wait long enough you can usually find someone leaving and grab their spot. I drive a full size pick-up and there is definitely not a lot of room for maneuvering. read more

We eat here a lot. Good food. They move fast at this one. I've been to other Qdobas (out of state) and they were very inconsistent, confused and slow. I love the chips. Sometimes they are a little more salty than they should be, but they're typically very tasty with the queso. They should give you more chips than they do. There's one guy who I believe is a manager whom I like to refer to as "The Chip Nazi." Once he gave me a scoop and a half and I asked for a little more and he said he'd have to charge me. Yeah. The only bad experience we've had is that there was one instance a rubber band was in the queso dip. This is after a year of eating there. Definitely out of the norm for this place, but it's one of those things you don't forget once it happens. read more

I've been to Qdoba many times and the food we got today has been in the top five that I have gotten over the past 9 years. I love this Qdoba! Management changed a while back so its different but the food is just as good. The service here is nice just try to get there when its not packed with high school kids coming after soccer practice. They open pretty late so go for a late snack. Burritos, quesadillas, and 3 cheese nachos are what I always get. The mexican gumbo is pretty under rated but try it on a cold wintery night. It'll keep you warm. read more

We ordered for delivery and were told the wait would be 50 min. After an hour and 30 min they emailed us to let us know they just cancelled our order because the driver didn't show up. They cancelled on us, after 90 min. It's 8:00 and none of us have had any dinner. Thanks for nothing. No apology, nothing. Will never order from them again. read more

Similar to Chipotle but Qdoba has more choices (including queso) and FREE guacamole. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. Definitely worth trying. However, if you plan on going to this particular location, I suggest you go during the day. Fast, friendly and clean service during the day. The night shift needs lil tweeking. read more

Usually I would rate this location with 5 stars, the reason for only giving 3 in this review is because employees on diner shift tonight were more focused on talking to one another rather then speaking to the customers. The CDC safety guidelines require all employees to wear face protection at all times, 2 out of the 2 line workers had their face masks pulled down exposing their nose hence creating possible covid contamination to the food they are handling. I love Qdoba, it is fast and always delicious. I love their new option to pick a combo, I like to try different things so it allows me to get the tacos and nachos without it being too much to eat. It is the perfect amount. The only complaint I have is when they put the Mild Salsa on my tacos, they never drain the salsa enough and it makes my tacos, nachos, and my burritos very soggy. They need to work on draining the Salsa before putting it on anything. No one wants the salsa juice sogging up their burritos. Very unpleasant. I might say something in person the next time I go here, but I hope this improves, or I might have to stop coming here. read more

Ok, so I went in to order my standard Taco salad (today, 7/8, ~12:30 p.m. - Ellicott City, MD location), which I have not had since before the start of the pandemic. NOT one employee was wearing their Qdoba (black mask with a gold "Q") face mask properly!! Either it was only covering their mouth - not their nose, or it was covering their chin. Defeats the whole purpose of a mask! I will not be back. And, I will be calling the Howard County, MD Health Department to look into closing the location down. Just not safe! read more

"WE'RE HUNGRY!!!" "WE DON'T WANT LEFTOVERS" "WE WANT TO EAT NOW" This is my "Groundhog's Day." With 5 kids spaced over 10 years, I have heard these words ring my ears in my sleep for over 20 years. No, not in dreams....but literally. And we practice the time honored tradition of gavage during Thanksgiving and Christmas. And even inviting friends over and having people take food home, I still have 3.565 lbs of ham and 5.321 lbs of stuffing chilling in the fridge. So I picked Qdoba, a new restaurant on the block. My family doesn't go or enter a restaurant, we DESCEND on it. Like locusts on the savannah. We create a line where none existed. But there was a line and we waited....and waited. We finally ordered and had: 1. Pork taco salad: Excellent tasting taco salad. Probably the best I have had at any restaurant. Pork was not overdone and dessicated. The meat and veggies were layered in a way where you didn't feel like it was partitioned like a TV dinner. 2. Steak burrito: Very tasty. Steak was tender for a fast food joint. 3. Vegetarian burrito: More rice than beans in their version. Strong overtones of cilantro and flavorings in the white rice Not your usual Mexican tomato/cumin/chile/red rice. Very tasty 4. Bean and cheese burrito. What can I say? This is what this kid likes. 5. Shredded beef burrito: Tasted good as well. I would personally prefer the steak burrito. These burritos are not brick heavy with beans. The burritos are substantial but not heavy. 6. Steak nachos. This is a meal in itself. There are lots of ingredients and not just a pile of chips with a little cheese on top. All the flavors blend well. Quality of the food was excellent. 5 stars for a fast food. Much better than Baja Fresh. Service: 1 star. The workers behind the counter clearly didn't want to be there and it showed. I asked to put a little of everything on top of my taco salad and all the server did was scoop one salsa on top and passed it down the line. There were no signs on what the toppings were. I had to peer over the counter and look on their stations to see a variety of sauces and salsas. So while I was looking at the salsas, they passed my taco salad down the cash register. The manager was manning the cash register and wanted to charge me $0.50 for each topping I added on the taco salad!! Where is the truth in advertising here? They said the toppings were free. Even though they just opened up, they already have the pressure of penny pinching at the expense of not letting the customer get what they want. Too bad. The original recipes taste great and that's why the high scores....it would have been higher if the service was friendly. The food is great now...but I wouldn't be surprised to eventually see the corporate MBA's cutting corners with the recipes and screw up the food like they did at KFC. read more

I have to say we used to love this Qdoba but you can almost never order online anymore. It's always just "down" for some reason. And you can't call in - they are, for some inexplicable reason, unable to process an order over the phone. They will point you to I think GrubHub but they stop taking orders ridiculously early. So now 9 times out of 10 you have to GO in to order, and then spend more time physically in the store. Which, to me, is just nuts right now (I know we have lifted the mask and social distancing mandates for vaccinated people but we all know that's an honor system and Americans are going to just use it as an excuse to do what they want, like not wear masks, regardless of vaccine status - Living with others who cannot be vaccinated yet, I am not willing to take the risk of not masking and not social distancing yet...). Doesn't seem like the right time to force more people into your store, Qdoba. I am not sure why they don't want us to online order...but I have say I hope it's hurting their business. We eat here all the time- I think the food is addicting! The staff is nice and they are super fast with orders! The queso is amazing- a lot of times I end up eating it instead of my meal. My one recommendation is to pick up a Qdoba rewards card! We went about 3 times with ours and we already have a free entree. They're free and you get points for the food you buy. Amazing! read more

If you are allergic to preservatives, don't eat here. I know a few friends who ended up with fat lips and swollen faces. From my observation, people who are into Velveta cheese and artificial ingredients will like it. Those who have a tendency to eat at home more often, or eat fresh real food probably won't. Some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Was ready to order and was not even acknowledged so I wasn't sure if the employee was ready, so I stood there for 5 minutes while he looked at me. Terrible portions, practically was half of the spoonfuls they usually give. All of the employees were very unmotivated and took myself and 2 friends 10+ minutes to complete our order. Would highly recommend going to the Qdoba on Dobbin Rd instead. Overall completely unacceptable. read more

I'd like to give a raving review to the customer service employees at this Qdoba Mexican food restaurant for their outstanding customer service. Getting off of a long day of multiple flights with crappy service from the airline and making it there 10 minutes till closing they were preparing to close for the day but provided me excellent service with a smile and were very accommodating. Young employees like these have provided me a more positive outlook in a country where customer service is truly lacking in many service industries. Depending on the day of your visit, sometimes you got really slow services if they get lazy workers there. Seriously, this lady would stand around distracting other staffs, knock things off and went out to get a drink in the middle of her shift while a line of customers were waiting. Qdoba is similar to Chipotle but even better. You get free Guacamole! And you get queso which is nonexistent at Chipotle. The price is even better than Chipotle. Usually I order online and then I go pick it up. Last time I ordered my burrito bowl they forgot to give the Chicken in the burrito bowl! Its OK though because I called and the manager was very nice. He gave me a replacement and 2 more burritos that I could get anytime. Overall great burritos and staff at the location is amazing. read more
