It's pretty close to our house and has now become one of our go-to's for the cuisine. The inside is pretty small, and a couple times we've gone it's been very busy. Even so, we didn't have to wait terribly long. And even if we had to, it's easy to get one of their great cocktails and chill while you're waiting. The staff is always really nice. A couple times, we sat on their patio -- if it's the time of year where it's open, I definitely recommend that. The burritos I've had were all excellent. The last time, I got the mole sauce and it's the highlight dish I've gotten so far. Chips and salsa are solid. It's just a great place to get tasty Mexican fare plus excellent drinks.

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the homemade, blue corn masa tortillas for the tacos. Of the two tacos that tried, my favorite was the fish tacos but the carne asada was also very good. Also, I am obsessed with fried yucca and I rarely find them on restaurant menus, so I was excited and eager to try them out. They were a bit oily but still crispy, lightly seasoned, and flavorful. Service is quick and friendly, and our server made excellent recommendations. I went for the purpose of finally trying their salmon tacos, which a friend of mine had been raving about for some time. They were truly wonderful! The salmon came in nice sized pieces, and the meat was tender and flaky. The jalepeno guacamole had a fantastic bite to it, perfect with both the chips and the tacos. I wasn't a huge fan of their salsa in the bottle, but their house guacamole was also good. This is a great little spot that fills up quickly, so some planning is needed.
