In the notes I asked for extra mayo, which they provided in a separate condiment dish which I appreciated. I always enjoy that Jersey Mike's cuts their subs in half as well! Jersey Mike's is a good option if you're gluten free and want a sub sandwich. The gluten free bread stays together better than most but as I'm accustomed to with gluten free bread it's not appealing in texture or flavor. *insert sad face* I miss real bread and gluten. Jersey Mike's seems to go light on sandwich fillings, especially light on bacon which is absolutely blasphemy. Damn bacon hoarders. I was having a conversation at work about sub chains and I said that I liked JMs the best because they have a meaty tasty sub on nice fresh bread and a person said that he ate there once and had the Lg Philly. He planned on eating half now and half later but it was so good he ate the whole thing he says. I don't think that I have ever had a hot sub from JMs so I decided to try one and a very good sign was that three were the grill for the people ahead of me. I ordered the regular Philly as it comes with no tweaking to taste it as it's served. It's grilled steak, onions, red peppers, white American cheese on fresh bread. My first impression is that it doesn't look like much. After taking the first bite I thought that the bread is very fresh/soft and it's seasoned nicely. The Philly was tasty with all the fresh ingredients grilled to order and pretty good just like he said and I enjoyed it. The steak was just enough as to not be skimpy but I would have liked more and no fat or gristle in the steak. I would definitely get the Philly again because I actually liked it better than the other chains and after a disappointing Cousins in the past I said no more chain Phillys but I'm glad I got one. I'm still on the quest for the great Philly but as far as fast food chains go it satisfied my needs. read more

I ordered 2 subs from Jersey Mike's from DoorDash on Wednesday 01/11/2023. I ordered a regular Club Sub Mike's Way and a mini Club Sub Mike's Way. When I got my order I got 2 mini subs, I was upset because one I was hungry and two, the regular cost more. So I called this Jersey Mike's location which was the restaurant that made my sandwiches. A young lady named Jordan checked it out and decided to give me a credit for a regular Club Sub sandwich to be picked up today. I went to this location and after a little resistance they gave me my sandwich. The staff at the time questioned me because I didn't remember who I talked to. It wasn't until later on when I called my wife that I found out that the workers name was Jordan. Anyway, to make a long story short, they gave me a Club Sub and I left a nice tip. This was an Essential Worker lunch for the office, so I appreciated the online ordering as well as the Touchless pick up option. My order was scheduled for 1145 a.m. and when I arrived just a couple minutes after that time, my order was all packaged and ready to go. Everyone's order was to their liking and there weren't any complaints from the crew about their food, with the exception that the oil was used just a touch too liberally on some of the sandwiches, which--after witnessing the heavy sheen on my bread--I do have to agree with. read more

I asked for extra mayo and the girl making my sub made a nasty face then proceed to literally throw gobs of it on my sandwich, to the point it was inedible! I wasn't in the mood to pay for food I couldn't eat so I left the building. I frequent Mike's Jersey Subs across the County of Milwaukee however the one on Miller Parkway is a different case . You are not greeted when you come in. They slapped on so much mayo on my sandwich they ruined it . At checkout nobody attended the register and there is no thank you . This is the only Jersey sub place that basically sucks. The sand which maker was a plus sized African American woman who was totally unprofessional and refused to make a simple sandwich. If this employee is representative of your company, you'll need to institute a major customer service training program. Her manager watched her being rude and other customers witnessed this as well. When ordering my sandwiches for dinner I asked the employee if she could please wear a mask and she refused, saying that its was none of my business if she wears a mask. Mind you this was smack in the middle of a Corina Virus Pandemic and the State of Wisconsin Health Department has ordered that mask's be worm by all restaurant employees in the State. There was a Jersey Mike's sign right in front of her that said all employees need to wear a mask. When I pointed this out she told me that I was unable to read (I believe that she was trying to insult me). When I asked another employee for help I was told that she is the manager. On top of all of that when I arrived home I was missing a sub from my order. I have never been talked to like that by anyone in customer service in my life. It's sent to door dash for delivery and I get a link to tracker. All good so far. Eta740pm. Eta keeps changing delay delay delay. I tried calling Store. No answer no voice mail. This is a lot better than jimmy Johns, but this silly idea that they have to slice everything while you wait is ridiculous and slow. I get that it makes it feel fresh, but you are serving compressed ham! Slice a bunch and get the line moving. The mini size is large enough for most adults. It's a great lunch option twice a month. Go during off times because the bottleneck at the slicer can cause you to wait. read more

Concerns Buffalo Grove Illinois Store - I wish that I could say this is the first time it has happened, but unfortunately, it is nearly every time. I ordered through the app (45 minute delay), arrived at the store a little early with a line of about seven customers. At my order time (1:04), I asked and the manager said I was next. In the meantime over the next almost 20 minutes, at least 10 more people came in, ordered, got their sandwich and left, while I even got to watch my sandwich be moved around while these people got theirs. One woman who ordered just before me, got her sandwich, left ordered again because she forgot something and go her sandwich. She even commented that she could not believe the I was still there. Finally, they bagged up my sandwich and it sat on the counter for another 5 minutes while the cashier rang up other people and did other things. At least 5 others were behind me and noted the same. By that time, my sandwich was stale, soggy, and completely a waste of money. We all agreed that this was the final straw as we have had similar experiences for months (my longest wait at the store after order time was 45 minutes in May of this year). It is too bad, because I really like your sandwich, otherwise I would not have put up with it for so long. I am also emailing Firehouse subs and asking them to open a store in our area along with my friends, because we tired of the poor service and incompetent management. read more

I placed an online order for two subs and when I got home I realized the order was incorrect. Although it is posted that they close at 9:00pm, no one answered when I called at 8:33pm, 8:34pm or 8:39pm to inform them that they gave me the wrong order and I would return the subs and get the right order. I ended up taking a loss and ended up going to another location to get tge right order. It was very inconvenient, especially after a long day at work, cost of gas, and truthfully, the cost of their over-priced subs. They will no longer get my hard-earned money. I think this is the first time in my life that I have placed and order - and walked out before it was prepared. The two girls behind the counter (one pictured in a review from 8/6/2017) were so incredibly rude that I eventually just walked out. I was told "I only slice the meat" while giving my order.... then the other girl proceeds to start my sandwich with some oil and vinegar on the bread as was asked for..... and subsequently walks away to work on another order! All the while slicer-girl, who is building the sandwich right on the dirty counter, is doing her thing. girl 1 turns to girl 2 and said "well i ain't asking him again what it is".... at that point i left. will follow up with a call to management or corporate. neither of the people working in a customer-facing position should be doing so... ever.... though they would fit in well maybe at a DMV somewhere... read more

We order and they for some unknown reason didnt have gluten free bread and provided no explanation. Also theres a sign on the door that says we "now have Udis gluten free bread." The girl making my now tub (which turned out to be awful) was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude towards me and other customers. I asked for extra tomato 3 times before getting an extra slice. Asked for jalapenos never got it. She asked if I wanted it Mike's way I said no. After she made it she said, that's Mikes way. A-OK here! This area just has so many food options that I don't know when I'll come running back here again. Small interior, very clean and organized. The pop machine was broken though... so they were offering 10% off their bottled beverages. The huge drawback for me here was the pricing! I walked out spending almost $10 on a regular sized sandwich. I just got an italian, which was provolone and three kinds of meat. I'll say that I LOVE the fresh slicing right in front of you, but the meat wasn't wrapped or sealed when in the cooler so the end pieces were a little dry. They top their sandwiches "mike's way", which is onion, tomato, lettuce, red vinegar/oil and spices. I said sure. Well I wasn't prepared for the onslaught of lettuce overload that I was about to witness. They tossed a bit of red vinegar, and then DOUSED the thing in oil - think suburpia amount of oil. They wrap it like any other sub that doesn't have handfuls of lettuce and tons of oil, so it makes for a very messy lunch. It was fine, I like the concept - but the pricing was extremely high for a sub shop with sub-par bread and filler toppings. read more

Jersey Mike's took the place of the Five Guys that was located in the East Pointe Commons strip mall. I admit I have only order the different kinds of hot steak sandwiches - Famous Philly, Chiptole Cheese Steak, Big Kahuana. I always get extra cheese and meat on my sandwich. And I swear by the Chiptole Mayo. I am sure the other sandwiches cold or hot are just as good. My tip during lunch is to order online to avoid the crowds and go straight to the cashier to pick it up. Parking can be a pain during lunch but you can typically find a spot close enough to the door. Service has been good to great the times I have went. Sad that Five Guys left but very happy with its replacement. If they could have Five Guys fries and the Steak Sandwich, I would eat there every day for lunch. read more

The staff was friendly, happy to be there and the atmosphere was inviting. As we always say Jersey Mike's is a step above places like Subway and Jimmy John's which are nearby. The sandwiches we had tasted great for a chain sandwich shop. And this location had some pretty darn good watermelon sweet tea. I have read a lot about how Jersey Mike's was going gluten free and was so surprised by their menu. Most subs you can get in a "tub" which is like getting in a salad so no bun at all. Gluten free buns are also available. Those that are not gluten free, I had a friend try the sub and she said it was very tasty! The price was on par with other sub places. I ordered delivery through a service like eat street or grub hub, and it was great! There was plenty on the sandwich that you did not have to order extra meat or cheese to feel like you were getting your money's worth. The in a tub was so big I had it for two more days later! Once I finally got ahold of someone they left me on hold for 5+ minutes to "check" on my sandwich that was missing and then disconnected the line. I had been seeing commercials for this place locally and never heard of it. Then when I was in Milwaukee I was craving a sub and spotted this place. I ordered the Italian sub. They shave all of the meat fresh right in front of you. I had my sub "mikes way" which I believe was lettuce, tomato, olive oil, vinegar, onions and oregano. The bread was still warm when I bite into the sub. Great quality! I would definitely recommend and come back. Hopefully they open some sub shops up in the GB area. read more

Went to this Jimmy Johns on Sunday, very good service and we were treated politely and taken care of in a timely manner. The drive through is incredibly fast and convenient. The only problem I ran into was I received no lettuce on my sub when I asked for no cucumber. I love your cheesesteaks so much but this is my fourth time coming to this location and they never have my order ready when I place it online. I always place it online because I'm big on not wasting time but every time I come, either my order is wrong or it's just not done which is really frustrating. And when it's their mistake, they don't offer any kind of discount or apology which is really frustrating. They definitely need to work on paying attention to details especially with the orders.
