I have lunch from this location 3 days week, I have been mostly happy with my food, and only mildly annoyed by the unsmiling young women working there. My husband and I have tried this Qdoba on multiple occasions. It's convenient for us but that's about the only positive I have to provide. Our last visit we left before ordering food when the lady in front of us asked for vegetables and was told they didn't have any cut up today. The lady proceeded to say this is the 4th time she's been in and they didn't have veggies. This prompted me to look around and glance into the kitchen. It was filthy- food all over the floor, dirt on the floor, very unsanitary and unappealing. After seeing that, we decided it was better to return home then eat in this establishment. I want to start by saying I LOVE Qdoba, but the service at the Gig Harbor location has gotten so poor it is laughable/traumatizing. My online orders for this store were consistently wrong so o decided to go in today. The woman working the register was SO RUDE. She YELLED at the man in front of me for crossing the "line" to try and get a utensil. He was a good sport saying "I'm sorry! It must be an imaginary line!" because there was no line marked, like, at all. She then rudely points to the tiles saying "THERE IS THE LINE". She was not listening or observing anything so she ended up having to ring me up three separate times even though I repeatedly told her my whole order. I asked for napkins and utensils after all this and they were shoved at me. LOL wish the mobile orders were accurate so I could just go that route. read more

I usually love this place. I eat here probably twice a week. However today I walked In at 7:00 on a Wednesday evening 1.9.2019 and the guy on the line was so abrasive. He asked me if I wanted white or brown rice and when I didn't answer right away he looked at my sister like she was going to answer for me. I tried this place a couple months back, while going through Gig harbor on the way to Port Angeles. I've always heard the commercials, and never could find one of these joints until now. I ordered the tacos with the chicken. I would say for the price and the amount of food you get is not the greatest parts. Tasty, but I think if I had to choose on this place or say, Taco Del Mar or even Del Taco, I would go with the last two first. Qdoba was good, but expensive and the portions didn't justify the dollars spent IMO. Hope this helps some out there. Maybe the burrito's are better, not sure. Hit or miss. The staff is very friendly but watch carefully as they prepare your food! Be specific about the amounts you want! I've had several items where the balance of ingredients is WAY off. Like a burrito just chalk full of beans or taco salad swimming in dressing and salsas. Yuck. The queso is delicious - as is the chicken. Just beware of over zealous scoops of the wet ingredients. Unlike most fast places the dining room is actually pretty nice, clean and pleasant. There is always parking and it's super convenient if you're at Costco or shopping nearby but I wouldn't drive out of my way for it. (in other words, it's no Chipotle) read more

This location is better than most. It's much better than the Silverdale location. The people that work here are super friendly and patient. If they are out of something they will go make it for you if they aren't making it back there already. It's not always super clean in here, but it is most times we come in, and it's cleaner than other Qdoba's we have been to. I will say, sometimes there is food leftover under the booths, but that's the only "dirtyness" here. They keep it super clean behind the counter, at the drink station, and all of the other walkways. The tables are always wiped down. Everyone that has made our food has been super nice, and they even help us carry the food to our table. SO thoughtful when we are trying to wrangle our toddler! read more

The food was good. The service was horrible with all napkin dispensers empty, utensils scattered across counters, and all lime/lemon containers empty with plenty of staff in the back doing nothing. Just visited for the first time today. Came in well before they closed and the young woman seemed extremely annoyed I was even in there. I asked for grilled onions and peppers and she snapped saying they "don't project sales for after 8:30 so we stop cooking, it'll take me 15 minutes to cook them for you." I have yet to have a decent meal here. We tried twice and I don't think I'll go again. The first time the chicken was burnt to the point that it was inedible. The corn was mushy and tasted old. The beans and rice were cold. The next time the food was just fine, but the table was so dirty and sticky that my napkin stuck to it. I was a long-time customer here. Unfortunately, this location has become so mismanaged that they either cannot retain sufficient staffing levels, or schedule properly, that they have been closed on more than 3 occasions I have attempted to come in, during their scheduled work hours. Further, when they WERE open, they would not have sufficient stock to fulfil customer orders. From a management perspective, they need to seek a solution that allows them to meet their posted commitments, both for stocking levels, and for hours of operations. There is no excuse to be closed at 6pm on a Friday, 'due to staffing', and have this issue continue for weeks. I will not be returning. Second time and last time at this restaurant. Waited 10 minutes to place an order and they were out of peppers and said it would be another 5-7 minutes, I said that's ok but please no guacamole. Of course they smothered it in guacamole to make up for my missing peppers. Don't bother with Their online orders. I've had my wife send in orders twice now; to try to save a few minute and eliminate the confusion of ordering for 4. Both times they have forgotten to make the orders until I was already there. And both times I arrived after the website said it would be ready. I have had much better luck with their "smoked pepper" competitor. I'll still eat here regularly. I just won't count on saving time with on-line orders. If you are looking for a pleasant place to eat this is not it. The atmosphere is horrible and just gives unpleasant vibes. Ivy, who I believe is a manager is extremely unkind to not only the customers, but her staff. She is constantly yelling at the staff for things that they obviously didn't know any better. When I went in she got mad at her staff for a mistake that was not theirs, but a miscommunication of mine. I also witnessed the manager herself talking about her staff calling them things such as incompetent and stupid purposely where they could hear. Nobody, especially teenagers, deserve to hear that, work should be a place of learning not degrading. These teenagers provided better customer service than Ivy, who is a full grown adult. Behind the counter is dirty making me question how sanitary the food really is. No wonder, they are always understaffed, because its a horrible place to work. Overall, this seems like a horrible work environment, and the relationship between management and staff is poor at best. read more

My husband and kids just left Qdoba and experienced the worst customer service. Abby was helping out a lady training on her first day. While we were in line, Abby yelled for help to the someone in the back for the cash register. The employee couldn't here her, so she then screamed POS! (Point of sale). The trainee was attempting to wrap up my burrito and the ingredients kept falling out. Totally fine as I knew she was new, but after a minute or so she asked Abby for help. By now my burrito was a mess. Abby came over and wrapped it up. Some of the meat fell out and I asked her to re-wrap it. She refused and told me it was fine and that it wasn't that much lost. I was pretty dumbfounded. We paid and sat down. The restaurant was pretty dirty and my 5 year old asked me if they ever vacuumed. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the food was decent. I'm surprised by the negative reviews! I love that they cook everything right there. I also love their "healthier" options. Their staff are all very friendly (especially the manager, she's really nice). The food is delicious! My boyfriend loves the BBQ burrito and I usually get the grilled veggie without rice. One time they offered me free queso, so my whole "healthy" thing went out the window when I heard the words, "Would you like some free queso on your burrito?" DID YOU SAY QUESO? FREE QUESO?? The manager here is insane and unprofessional. When I walked into the store for a job interview I went up to the manager, Ivy. Ivy made eye contact with me and saw the resume I had in my hand. After looking at me she crouched down behind the counter so that I couldn't speak to her and did not acknowledge me at all. I had to wait for another employee to come up and ask what I needed. Let her know I was there for an interview, she looks down at Ivy who is right next to her crouched down on the floor and repeats what I told her. Ivy is silent for a minute and then finally stands up and in a very rude and loud tone asks why I was late, all of the customers and other employees in the store could hear this. I politely let her know that there was bad traffic and apologized. Ivy told me that I should've called or texted her to let her know i'd be late, she never gave me a number to call or text if I had questions prior to the interview. Ivy also never gave me a specific time, she just told me she'd be at the store "around 3" and to come in then. it's also very concerning that she expects a 16 year old to call or text someone while driving in heavy traffic. What new driver would pull out a phone and text or call someone while driving? I arrived at 3:12, it was 3:16 by the time I was finally acknowledged. After telling her I got stuck in traffic she just stared at me and said nothing, I walked out of the store at this point after telling her to just forget the interview. I was so uncomfortable being screamed at by a grown woman who I had just met in front of multiple people. This store has to close early and open late often because they are so understaffed, I wonder why Ivy has such a huge issue with a 16 year old being a few minutes late, but is fine with her store never being open. This manager has a horrible attitude and I am glad I was "late", working for someone like her would have been draining. now I understand why they are never open. Get some professional mental help, Ivy. I know it's hard to accept the fact that you are a middle aged woman managing a shitty restaurant in a small town, but it's weird that you feel the need to take it out on younger people who still have their lives ahead of them. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service. Ordered through their website and paid for delivery. Meal came with half the order missing. The delivery service said it was Qdoba's mistake and problem and they could not do any for thing for us. Called Qdoba they admitted it was their mistake but said we have to call The third-party delivery service that we didn't even contract with, Qdoba had. We didn't even know who they had used as delivery. They refuse to to refund the items we did not received. We figured out who they had contracted with and called them and they said since we order directly through Qdoba's website they could do nothing for us and we had to call Qdoba. We will never ever eat here again. Also, tried to contact Qdoba corporation through through their customer service email (they don't have a phone number) and through Facebook to try and have the issue fixed before making this review and they didn't respond. read more

We used to really like eating here, but anymore the restaurant is so dirty inside. We've been going here since the restaurant first opened and it didn't used to look the way it looks now. The tables are never clean and the floor never looks swept. Even the napkin dispensers and soda machine look like they never get properly wiped down. Everything just looks dirty. If that's the way it looks where the public eats, I can only imagine what it looks like in the back.
