Good news, food was very good. Bad news, the staff was so rude. Wait, 2 staff members were very rude and another staff member actually addressed it with the others. However, it did not prevent the subsequent nasty looks nor the exaggerated slow pace to fill our order. We waited over 25 minutes before receiving our food after ordering. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place with their dirty establishment and RUDE employees. After placing an order I was told that not only was it not available, but that it would take 5-7 days to get a refund. Since the employee who took my order never gave me a receipt, the rude manager who processed my refund proceeded to hand me a receipt from out of the garbage can. Who does that? I know workers are hard to find these days, but if you hate your job do yourself a favor and look for another one. Rude and nasty people should not work in food service. And I was really blown away by how good their surf and turf nachos are I mean WOW. Generous portions. Very fresh. Packed well. Terrible customer service. The last 3 times I was here they literally messed up each time. Once the guy actually gave away my order to the guy standing next to me then just proceeded to stare with a dumb look on his face. Took the kids here for some tacos and it was not good. I got the beyond burrito my kids got 2 tacos each. The food was not awful but the kids tacos literally had the smallest amount of meat in them. I'm not one to complain, but Wowsa has this place gone downhill over the last few years. I figured I'd give it another shot tonight since it's closer to my house than Chipotle. We ordered online: a steak salad and a pork salad, with a side of chips. I got there 10 mins early, so no worries on it not being ready. I Stopped by here for a lunch with a few co-worker, the place is pretty big, I order the bowl with you have the option to put into a tortilla, the bowl bringing the combination of a lot goodie, with you can add anything and customize from the counter. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My husband and I stopped by for lunch and we regret not going to Elevation Burger instead. First off, this place was EMPTY. no line behind us or nothing like that nor it was close to closing time either. I walked up to the front while my husband calls his mom to see if wanted something. So I started my order first and before I could even finish my order, the lady asks my husband what he wants. So I told her "he is not ready" She doesn't ask me what kind of topping I want, she starts putting random topping that comes with the meal I guess. Then starts to rush my husband for toppings. I cut her off in the middle and ask her to put some jalapeno peppers in my bowl and she literally THROWS it on the bowl. Then my husband asks me, "is that cilantro?" then the lady starts putting cilantro in his burrito....when he was just asking a general question. This lady seemed like a manager by how she was dress. I never been to a restaurant where the manager was more rude than the employees. I tried to be nice to her as possible but this lady really tested my patience and please, do not get me started on my salty everything shrimp and steak and did I mentioned that the tortilla was ripped and all the topping was falling of my husband's burrito? I prefer the tortilla at Qdoba over Chipotle and I prefer their rice better. Overall it was a good lunch, I was in and out within 15 minutes. If I'm in the area again I will go back. I often visit the Qdoba in Bala Cynwyd when on my lunch break, but the Willow Grove location near my home is no comparison. This location was not fully stocked (out of rice and some salsas), the queso had a crust on it for sitting out too long, the tables were dirty, and the soda machine was not working. The server who made my meal said nothing and simply assumed I knew the options (which I did, however my companion did not and I had to explain everything). The man who I assume was the manager on duty looked at each customer as though he was judging them with pursed lips and arms crossed. He offered no help to the server who was clearly overwhelmed. Qdoba is at best by 3rd or 4th choice when it comes to quick-serve faux-Mex restaurant chains but sometimes I go to one anyway because Moe's isn't that common and Baja Fresh is heading towards extinction in this area. The service at this location is pretty good though. They did listen carefully to my requests and they did suggest some good toppings for the nachos and burrito bowl that I ordered. That aside, I thought the food was overpriced for what you get. What kind of faux-Mex restaurant chain charges for chips anyway? All the standard entrees are around $8 but for that kind of money, you don't really get a whole lot of choices as far as toppings go. And finally, this particular Qdoba location may be falling a bit behind on maintenance. The paper towel dispenser in the restroom didn't work at all. read more

I'm rating Q with 2 stars because they try to please their customers by serving ginormous portions of food, instead of better tasting dishes. The place inside is your typical corporate chain look and feel. The few times I've been there for lunch, I ended up standing in a 10 people line to order (don't understand why so popular). I ordered a burrito, when I got it the size of it caught me completely by surprise, it was basically 5 times the burrito you would get from Taco bell. It is on a pricey side for a lunch it will run you about 12 to 15 bucks , if you ask me for this price I might as well got some where else. read more

Eaten here a number of times. Food is usually just fine but service is usually very poor. By poor service, I mean dirty-looks-and-rushed-when-nobody-is-behind-you poor service and not they-forgot-what-I-asked-for-or-didn't-have-any-rice poor service, although they have done that to my wife and I, too.
