I judge a fast food chain location after cleanliness, attentiveness, and how well stocked it is. It's the first QDOBA in Overland Park and honestly it fulfills all points. It provides a good alternative to the other Mexican burrito chain and offers some other items such as chili and soups. I've been here a couple of times and everything is consistently nice. I once ordered a pick up, specifically requesting extra chicken on the side(which I paid extra for). Later on reaching home I found out there way no extra chicken. And the attitude of the staff here is incredibly rude! They don't pay attention to you. They look like they are irritated looking at you and just want to get over with their shift. Never returning. Went in last night for a quick bite after relying on my fellow YELPER's reviews. I told the guy working behind the counter I hadn't been in before and asked a few questions. He said unlike that Chipotle, everything is included in the prices. Great news considering how much I love guacamole! I decided on two tacos- one of the lime chicken and one of smoked brisket. I asked to have the cilantro dressing on the chicken taco but was told they don't make it anymore. Both tacos were good but I preferred the brisket as the chicken was kind of like the chicken you get on skewers at Chinese food buffets. Kind of like a dark meat but not really... The good things about my visit include: both employees behind the counter were nice, I was charged the correct amount for my food, got a cup for some free water, and there was not a wait when I walked in. My concern was I only saw one table free of other people's food debris. No baskets and cups, but pieces and crumbs of food.Being of (reasonably) sound mind, I grabbed it. There was only one man sitting at a table when I went in, so we're talking about a lot of tables here... While there were a few people that came in to order take out while I was noshing on my tacos, it wasn't very busy. So... dirty tables are not only unappetizing to sit at, they can spread other people's germs and cross contamination. This was my first time in, so maybe it was just an isolated incident? This is one of the worst restaurants/fast food services I have been too in years. What is the point of having an app for ordering ahead and setting the time for pickup when you still spend 23 minutes at the restaurant waiting for food? If I knew I could get my money back, I would of canceled my order and went somewhere else but instead I had to wait and be late back to work and not have anytime to eat lunch. If you are wanting somewhere to go for lunch. DO NOT go here. Ordered Grub Hun delivery for Qdoba. Grub Hub was great. Qdoba made the whole family sick. We were all up in the middle of the night with stomach pains and diarrhea. Not pleasant. Won't be eating here again. There are clearly issues with their food and/or food preparation. read more

First time in to this new Mexican eatery and found the menu and order system to be similar to Chipotle. Hubs had the burrito bowl with steak and thought it was good. I had the taco salad with jalapeño lime chicken and was pleasantly surprised guac was not an additional charge. The bowl size for both seemed about 20% smaller than Chipotle bowls but both items were good. We liked the menu variety, booth seating available, power outlets for charging devices and outdoor seating option. We will be back! read more

We eat here pretty often without problems but today it was slow and unfortunately the A team wasn't working like they usually are. We came in about 5p on a Sunday and were the only costumers in the place. Half of the tables were littered with crumbs and trash. Three workers were behind the counter & all were busy doing "something". It appeared as if each one of them was waiting for one of the others to come help us. After about 4 min of a staring contest between the three of them one finally came over to take our order. We asked for chips and queso to go with the food. The guy serving us said "these chips might taste stale but they're not stale. They've been sitting in this bin so that's why they might not taste right". WHA?????? Seriously? The condiment counter where forks and lids and straws are kept was in disarray. The fork bin had just 2 forks in it. While we ate we had to listen to 2 of the 3 employees continually beat the side of a huge metal bowl with a giant metal avocado masher while they were making guacamole. I'm glad this wasn't our first visit because it would have been our last. read more

The manager at this location is absolutely terrible with people. Extremely unorganized and took 20 min to get food with 3 people in the whole place. Items I paid full price for I got half of and everything I asked for was a chore. I love QDOBA and have been a customer for a long time but the food was bad and the customer service was awful. I get chipotle quite often and I usually don't have an issue but last night I got my usual burrito double steak double cheese and white rice (I'm a pretty picky person) and I take a bite into it and I see nothing but cheese and rice so I take another and I still have yet to get a bite of steak so I open it up and I maybe see 5 pieces of steak in there I ended up throwing it away cause I'm not about to eat a cheese and rice burrito. read more

I have been working in the service industry for almost 10 years, and consider myself a pretty patient person. Tonight, we came into Qdoba an hour before close & had some seriously terrible service. The line employee was obviously upset to see us walk in- and let us feel it through the entire process. He didn't put on fresh gloves for the next bowl, scooping was sloppy & careless & he dropped my tortilla on the ground and almost set it back on top of my burrito bowl! The manager was in the back cleaning as the line was piling up. Not helpful & also obviously inconvenienced by our business. QDOBA opening in OP was a pretty big deal for me since I'm a huge fan. The staff was efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Quick service too. I really love how this store is designed its so different from other locations I've visited. Can't wait to try the tequila lime chicken next time I visit. Recently had a not so great at this location but I got a call from the manager the day after who cleared it up which I really appreciated. read more

We are excited to finally have one of these in OP! The food was great and you get a lot of foot for the money. The staff was friendly even when the place was packed. The only issue here, and they are new and learning, is that they really need a dedicated dining area person to clean all the tables. The tables and floor were really in need of some cleaning as well as the drink station. People are slobs, not the restaurants fault, but still something they need to take care of. read more

Our food was ice cold. We arrived right when they opened, so it should have I noticed the meat looked like it had been sitting out for awhile. I asked the girl if they cooked it this morning and she said yes. We got it to go and drove it to a park 2 minutes away. Everything from our tortillas to the chicken, steak and rice was ice cold. Flavors were good, but not worth eating. Queso and chips is all we could eat. So disappointed. I should have left when I saw the meat. I really love qdoba's food, and I've never been disappointed in the quality of the food. That being said this is my least favorite location to go to, which is really unfortunate because it's the most convenient one for where I live and work. Every single time I come in and the manager is there she is extremely rude to the other employees who are working. She always seems to be hovering over the shoulders of the employees instead of helping them attend to guests in a timely manner. I understand they are a busy store and I'm a patient person, but it is uncomfortable to watch her harp on her employees while we wait. Sometimes you can even tell she is avoiding performing a task because it is the job of another employee, but instead of prioritizing the guest experience, she aims to make a point by waiting until someone notices that the guest needs attention. This is extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable. This doesn't make me want to come back when my food is cold because someone felt like being petty. read more

Terrible customer service and does not seem like a hygienic place to eat. All of the staff was visibly annoyed to have to help customers when we came in. The girl who finally made our burritos did not change her gloves, and was touching her hair and scratching her chest between touching ingredients. The preparation surface had obviously not been cleaned off in a long while. Food was alright, but employee didn't drain beans or meat making the burritos extra watery/greasy. read more
