The meat was tender, rice was perfectly al dente, veggies fresh. We both got bowls and the layers were even while the presentation was well pleasing to the eye. The guy manager with ponytail was short staffed or nothing stocked from night before so it was a mess. He was upset. This afternoon we were in the area and stopped. We stop here with our family a couple times a month. Food is standard, service is average. Today, however, we had two wonderful ladies that were awesome. They were very personable and polite. The food portions were good and the quality was some of the best we have had at Qdoba. I cannot even begin to express how tired I am of paying for things that don't even come close to meeting my very normal expectations. This is the 3 cheese queso nachos. Ordered online & delivered. I don't care if I order in person or if I DoorDash, I should be able to expect the same quality food. To be clear, I did not mix up this bowl. This is how it was made. First things first... learn to DRAIN THE BEANS. Half of this bowl is black bean liquid, which is disgusting. Also, could we make it standard for hot & cold foods to be packaged separately?! I've been going to this location for years and have always had good food and felt it was decently maintained and clean. Went there this past week and it has definately changed! Overall it was dirty and run down. Our food was okay. It was warm, but the quality of the steak was not what was used too. Very low quality and almost reminded me of Ponderosa quality beef. I love the food just not this location. The employees don't clean. They are fixing plates and food is everyplace. Looks as if they had a food fight. Food on the floor all on the counters. This review is for the Qdoba in Cottleville. They siad they had "No veggies" would not ubstitute anything for the veggies, so I ended up with a "bowl" that was left than half full. Small amount of meat that was cold. Ricewas chunky and hard as a rock. It was absolutely aweful. Should have walked out. Young people working seemed to not know how to even run the register for check out. Never again. read more

Unfortunately I just had the worst experience here. I ordered in the app (needs a bit of work) and arrived at 5:58pm between the 5:52-6:02 time slot. There were 5 workers including a manager. There was no sense of urgency whatsoever. I worked at a similar establishment C******e in college so I understand how the process works and not everyone is trained for everything. There were so many people waiting in line as well as 5 on average waiting for pick up orders. I waited until 6:35 when my food was ready. I wish there would have been better communication all around. I'm just really disappointed to wait 35 min when we ordered ahead to not have that happen. My suggestion would be... Grill- Keep cooking Register- Stay on register and also help grab items from the back fridge to help on the line Manager- App orders 2 on line- Stay on line and help each other replenish the food read more

Ordered through DoorDash. They didn't put most of what I asked for on my burrito bowl. Then refused to fix or refund because I ordered through DoorDash... even though the order is clear on the ticket. Who wants to eat big chunks or brown lettuce or soupy sour cream? Charged for Quac but none on here. No tortilla chips either. I asked for a flour tortilla shell on the side... didn't get that. No utensils in the bag... so not sure how they expected me to eat my lunch at work. Sad really. Story time! Quite possibly the worst customer service we've ever experienced. And I swear I'm not being a Karen. We arrive late after a miserable five hour drive in pouring rain. The place was a mess, first bad sign. There were four workers milling around, no one in line, and no acknowledgment like "be right with you." This goes on for five minutes. Finally a young woman takes our order, but by then three young men are in line behind us and they start chatting her up. Great, flirt, I don't care, but the woman starts engaging them and, I kid you not, stands there with an empty tortilla on a platter for several minutes while she and the guys banter. They're asking do you know so-and-so, here's a pic of her (shows phone), etc. My husband and I wonder if we are invisible or being punked. At least three times she catches herself, says, "sorry" but then keeps bantering, still holding the empty tortilla. It would've been entertaining had we not been so tired and fried. I would normally handle this with a joke but I didn't have it in me. I keep raising my hand and saying, "can you just fill our order?" At this point, it's just comical and I'm tempted to wait and see just how long it will go on. Eventually, she finished the food (while still bantering without ever looking at us). At the register she says "it's free." Ok cool but WTH, lol. To top it off, the food was just mediocre but that's to be expected with fast food. The bad service is on her; at least she made it right at the register. The place being a mess is on management. Gross. I wonder if they exchanged numbers? Hooked up for a date? Are engaged to be married? That would at least make the bad customer service make more sense. read more

My Grilled Chicken bowl was the bomb.com. White rice, black beans, mild salsa, cilantro, sour cream. Totally yummy. The made to order part is the best. A fast casual, order and sit type place, I've visited a few locations nearby. The guy who helped me was pleasant, efficient. The menu is pretty simple. I sat at a tall counter to devour my meal and enjoyed every bite. There's plenty of parking, lots of seating and oodles of ways to customize your order. read more

I would give a zero star rating but it isn't even allowed , this place definitely doesn't even deserve one star , all of the employees are lazier than the children I used to watch at day care , every time I ask for an extra scoop they complain and occasionally will even overcharge you for it , this location closes @ 9 pm sharp , but don't count on that because they often close @ 6:30-7 pm because they're so lazy they jus sit there and get paid when there isn't a manager on site. 0/10 would not recommend !! read more

It is rare that I give a single star. I am appalled at the lack of help or sheer lack of willingness to help. I just placed an order and when I got home with the two bowls, there were quite literally 6 SINGULAR pieces of meat in each bowl. When I called to ask if there could be something done about this issue the manager told me "well the policy is one scoop of meat." I told her I understand that but unless your scoop is the size of a teaspoon, that was not close to a full scoop of meat. She then refused to do anything about it, saying I should have come and brought it back and "maybe" she would have replaced it. Why should I need to do all of that on my time when I was not the one that made the mistake. When I called back to get her name, she refused to give it to me and I said I wanted to reach out to customer service and leave a review, she said "good luck with that, we are a franchise." I will NEVER be back to this location, maybe not back at all. An absolute lack of customer service does not bode well for their location. No wonder they don't have a good rating. read more

When I came in to pick it up the staff did not even look at me, rather continued to carry on a conversation in which they were openly complaining about a customer who was sitting down in the restaurant. Update: Sigh. I really liked this place because the food is so good. And it was nice to see the trash cans not overflowing. They really kept the place clean this time! But tonight's service was extremely disappointing. Literally, every single employee had the most blank expression on their faces. I'm not sure if something may have just happened, like they got reprimanded or something, but their customer service was just so bland. No morale, no eye contact, no smile, monotone voices. And.. they ran out of rice.. at 3pm What. HOW. Rice?? When the employee serving me asked the guy in the back if he had rice, his response was basically ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.... well that completely blows. It really changed my perspective on this specific QDOBA. Maybe my family will just try a different franchise next time. I'm from Southern California so when my husband brought me to QDOBA for the first time, he described it as a similar version of Chipotle. Well, I can tell you for sure that they definitely have their similarities. Fast-casual Mexican cuisine with the same industrial kind of interior design. QDOBA has more pops of color though. But back to the food... I honestly really enjoyed QDOBA. I usually get a burrito with wheat tortilla, brown rice, chicken, mild salsa/pico, and corn. It's hard to compare to Chipotle because they really are so similar. Chipotle does have sofritas as a protein option though and QDOBA does not. QDOBA has more options of how to make your food in regards to bowl or burrito etc. I think chipotle also may be more generous in regards to the portion size. Chipotle does seem to add up in costs though. In the end, I guess you get what you pay for. Only real con I have for QDOBA is that they could empty their trash a little more often. Both times I've been here it was over flowing in wastes (and it wasn't busy; kind of an eye sore. Either way, I'd come back to QDOBA. It's good. I recommend it. read more

This is one of the worst restaurants in the area. Not for it's good. It's what you would expect. But it's always randomly closed. Closes at 4 now? Half the time the main door is locked and employees ignore people trying to find their way in for pickup orders. Pickup orders aren't ready and employees are more worried about talking with each other than the order placed 20min ago. The service here Is terrible. read more
