I came in the other day (12/23/21) with my sister and I am still INFURIATED. As I was checking out, the manager insisted her employee doesn't ring me out. I was confused but I waited for a minute until the employee kept asking her manager to ring me out before she does whatever she needed to do with the register, WHICH TOOK A GOOD 10 MINUTES, it was absolutely ridiculous. The manager was yelling at her in front of all customers and being completely inappropriate. I've worked in food business before and that's no way to speak to your employee. The manager then walked away and the employee finally rang us out until the manager stormed back up there and roughly grabbed her employee, I mean it was just heinous. I'm seriously being generous giving them a 1 star, this place is a joke, I've had so many complications here. absolutely ZERO stars. read more

Standard Qdoba. The workers have mostly been friendly. During lunch time, I have found that you might be in line for as long as 20 minutes to get your food because of a lunch rush and they happen to be understaffed that day. read more

This Qdoba was dirty. The staff was slow but nice, the only reason I gave it two stars. The food was not fresh and not seasoned properly and to top it off, half the chips that came with my queso were soft and chewy. Though they are widely available, I had not been to a Qdoba since approximately 2002. When one opened close to my home and work last week, I decided to capitalize on some promotional coupons. My wife and I went during my lunch break on opening day. It was super clean (I should hope so!), and everyone was really enthusiastic to help us. The food was prepared Subway-style right in front of us. Everything was so great, you guys! The sheer size of the queso burrito made me remember Jalisco's in Milwaukee, where they advertised "Burritos the size of your head!" It was for sure more than I needed, but at the same time, I couldn't stop eating it. The ingredients came together perfectly, non overpowereing the others. I went on, due to my unhealthy relationship with food, to finish quite a bit of my wife's taco salad, which was equally satisfying. We went back last night. I ordered the BBQ Mole burrito, and she got the gumbo. Mine was good, and hers was quite excellent. Again, the servings are probably meant for more than one sitting, but, again, that's typically a non-possibility for me. The staff is super-friendly, and except for being prohibitively busy during most of my lunch breaks, I have no complaints at all. The guac is fresh and chunky, the chips are hot and be-limed, and the menu is delicious. I look forward to a long and happy relationship with the new Qdoba! PS: They also have Barq's! read more

These guys nailed it! I had a Chicken mole naked burrito and it was so good! I'm kinda particular and they listened to all my modifications. I have gone to about 5 other Qdobas and it's always just OK. This location is clean and even though they were busy the line moved fast. This locations makes the one on Delmar look like a 3rd world free food line and I didn't even get hassled by kids heckling people from the "For Customers Only" patio table. read more

Came in tonight about 630 the young lady that was going to make my food was very nice and courteous. She told me that they were running behind on chicken it would be about 10 minutes. I appreciate the honesty. Unfortunately it looked like an explosion had happened at this location where they make the food. There were tortillas laying everywhere, there was one scoop of ground beef at the very bottom which is what I asked for. The queso was filled with veggies lettuce I don't know what all was in there but you could tell that everything had just fallen in the queso. The taco shells had cheese all over them. At some point you could hear someone in the very back hacking and coughing horribly and one of the girls whispering to the other girl about it. At that point I was already running my card, I walked out and threw my $10 burrito in the trash. I don't know what happened. We came one afternoon and had great service. Every time since we've had the same mean rude lady getting mad that I want a quesadilla because it's a lot of work. My first Qdoba experience was great! I loved the selection of items to put on my veggie burrito. However, my subsequent visits declined from bad to awful. I took my wife and the burritos were watery and dripped all over the place. Yesterday, the burritos fell apart in my hand before the first bite. I had to go get a fork, but there were none placed out, so I had to ask the cashier. The tortilla was too tough to cut with the fork, it was a mess. The place was dirty, un-stocked, and trash overflowing. We sat outside the door and heard other costumers complain and cuss as they exited. I'll never go here again. read more

We love Qdoba but this is probably the worst one we have been to. Granted we ate around 9pm but the line was a mess, one worker walked to the back upon seeing us and the other asked if needed them to make more rice. The last worker was nice and fixed our order but almost everything was cold. Disappointing experience. read more

The food is excellent. The place is clean. My problem is if you ordering for more than one item, going through the line is a nightmare. It's made for one person ordering a single item. If you want two items you get a look. A family order is just confusing as hell. We tried putting in an online order and we got an error. I called in an order and they told me "They don't do over the phone orders." and hung up. So, of course I had to go through the line and of course it was a nightmare. I let several people go ahead of me trying to avoid holding up the line. Finally I go for it and during the ordering I realized we messed up. But we're too far in to fix it. People are in line and staff are acting impatient. I just want to never eat here again. I know I will, the food is too good. The staff are good people mostly. It's the setup that sucks. And when the staff are allowed to disregard you over the phone is a bit disappointing. read more

Three words: dirty, dirty, dirty. We typically eat at Chipotle but they're few and far between to find in St Charles area. I hadn't been to Qdoba in years after a runny chicken incident made me swear to never go back. This Qdoba was conveniently located and we'd past by it often and saw it had consistent business so figured it was worth a try. We tried it and won't be back. The floors had that slick greasy texture that coats the floor and you slide when you walk. Guests can see into the prep are but that didn't encourage anyone to keep it clean: food was splattered everywhere and the floor covered with chips, grease and food. Their version of "brown" rice is just Mexican rice. My 5 yo daughter likes the white rice and black beans that come with the kids quesadilla at Chipotle. I had to ask if they had a kids menu because there was nothing posted in the restaurant (or online). Had to ask for side options which include rice OR beans, or applesauce or chips, etc. I asked for rice and beans and the man put a tiny portion of white rice and tiny portion of black beans in the same container (he clearly doesn't have kids, they don't like food to touch). I even said something, "oh you put them in the same bowl." He just said, "yah, so she'll get more." If that's "more" not sure what less could be but if that was his way of not charging me for an extra side then fair enough... not a huge deal. I told my kid she likes to mix it anyway (she doesn't but let's go with it). I ordered a chicken burrito and chips and guacamole for us to share. The person at the register picked up a big scoop and put a scoop of chips in the metal bowl (don't a lot of chips break that way? YES!) They're mass produced tortilla chips that I'd compare to the kind you get at a ball field with a concession stand (and not MLB, they got smart and started selling Tostitos). A brutal option when you're accustomed to Chipotle crispy, freshly made chips with that hint of lime and salt. We were probably there an hour and saw each table around us turn at least once. Our table wasn't wiped off (I wiped it off with a napkin). Finally, when we were packing up to leave an older man came out and wiped a few tables. I noticed the rag he was using had stains all over it, which was very unappetizing. I learned at 16 to always use a clean towel when wiping off tables because any mark on a towel can be offputting. There was a family of 3 eating, mother and two pre-teen or teen girls and the older gentlemen who cleaned off the table next to them said something to the girls about liking the food, he asked if they even chewed it or just inhaled it. They seemed to just shrug it off but NOT exactly the comment to make to anyone, particularly daring to say to a few young girls who are likely body conscious because almost all are at that age. Finally, this wasn't just me... my 5 year old whined that the chips and food wasn't very good and didn't even eat her cheese quesadilla (how they can mess that up? I don't know. I tried it, cheese just wasn't very yummy). My kiddo named it the not-very-good-food-Place. Long story summarized: we won't be back. read more

Stopped in for dinner to go and wasn't happy with the experience. I like the food usually from Qdoba. This trip wasn't a good one. I ordered a Chicken Burrito and the chicken was burnt. The person prepping the food seemed not engaged with the customers just going through the steps. I ended up switching to ground beef burrito but when I got home it was split all the way down the burrito wrap and I had to get a plate and fork in order to eat. I will try again, but I avoid bad customer service restaurants. Lets see if the next visit can improve my rating. read more

I did an online order on 5/5/20. I went to the store after I received my confirmation e mail. I was told to be here by 8:30pm. I pulled up and called as requested. The young lady said they didn't have an order under my name. I checked my e mail and I had a second e mail stating my order was not transmitted properly. She said I would need to speak with the manager. He stated they didn't have my order. I said ok and asked if he would take my order over the phone. He said no! He then said QDOBA doesn't take phone orders. I would need to go online and place a new order. I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes. I told him that wouldn't work. He explained that this was my problem and not his. I asked for a regional number to call and he stated I would need to look that up myself. He then said I could come in and place the order but I really didn't want to eat Qdoba at that point and left. read more

A one star is generous because of how astonishingly horrible the service was today. I went today and it was different staff I have never seen before. There was only three people in the line including myself, and the (what seems to be) manager had a terrible attitude and seemed inconvenienced by my existence on a wednesday at 2:30pm. There shouldnt be any reason to act disrespectful and rude to your customers when we did nothing wrong and were very nice to her. I think her name was Khris, she had red earrings and brown hair, with a black shirt on, assuming that is the manager shirt. She made our food with attitude and gave us significantly smaller portions than weve had from anyone else who works there. She seemed annoyed when I asked for a side of sour cream, and made my quesadilla horribly. The quesadilla completely fell apart because there was no cheese connecting it. They gave us a very small scoop of smashed chips and got mad when we asked very politely for a little bit more. Sorry I seem to be an inconvenience to the worker who is paid to be there, but I feel you shouldnt treat your customers that way when they are buying your product. Just an idea. The other staff is always very kind though, just this one person was fairly rude and unprofessional. How she became a manager is beyond me. Good luck to anyone going in at a regular time during the day ordering a normal amount, if you get her serving you might as well just turn around and go to Chipotle. read more

When I arrived while I waited in line, one worker was more interested in switching out the small water with the Large Soda cup for tips and decorating it rather than help me or other customers. The two employees asked me for a tip and insulted the March of Dimes by saying that 100% of my donation goes to them rather than 10 cents of every dollar, which is what the March of Dimes does. The day of our party I called to confirm, they did not have our order printed and therefore could not deliver and I had to pick up and then they did not have all of our food ready. This is the text of a letter I sent to Qdoba edited for length about their store in St. Charles, MO. I gave them a week to investigate and respond and nothing has since happened. This was sent through their corporate website with both an email and a phone number with which they could have contacted me. I don't want free stuff, I don't get off on being an irate customer. I do this for a living and I take it very seriously when someone in our business puts their guests at risk because it makes us all look bad and every food borne illness outbreak makes people just that much more likely to stay home. So, I've been sitting on this for a couple of days hoping I would eventually feel better about it but it is still bothering me to the point that I am now ready to become "that guy" and write the letter to corporate. I am reluctant to get into these type of complaints because, being a chef myself, I am in the foodservice business and I know what a pain it is to get beat over the head with letters from guests with unrealistic expectations. My wife, 15 month old son and I went into the Qdoba on Bass Pro drive in St. Charles, MO around 6:30PM on January 6th for what was going to be our first experience in one of your restaurants. There were 3 people in line in front of us, a younger couple behind us and 2 or 3 scattered tables in the dining room. Not exactly back-breakingly busy but there was some business. While we were placing our order, I noticed that the prep line was in a fair amount of disarray and smeared with cheese and other food debris.My wife ordered the three taco plate and the young lady working the meat station started to put the plate to together. I noticed when she got the taco stand that it was dirty and that it had gobs of cheese in the food contact area. She looked at it, and started to load the shells into it anyway. When I told her it was dirty she kind of huffed about it, and started over with a pie tin rather than the other taco stand that was also dirty. She made no effort to go to the back and get another even when the gentleman who was working next to her (who she later pointed out as a manager) suggested she do so. At this point the experience devolved to the point where we left without purchasing any food. When he suggested she get one from where they were currently being washed she refused saying "then I would have to change my gloves again, that just sounds like too much trouble. That's like slave labor." Aside from the fact that cracking a joke about slaves in mixed company is an incredibly risky thing to say in an open kitchen, that sent up major red flags for myself and my wife, who is also a hospitality professional. If she would rather sacrifice standards and dump food in a pie tin rather than change gloves then I have to wonder: when is the last time she washed her hands? When was the line sanitized last? Not recently judging by its appearance. Compound that with the fact that I was holding a 15 month old child and planning to feed him from our plates. Young children still relatively new to solid food are some of the most vulnerable to food borne illnesses. My wife and I made eye contact, I shook my head, made a quick apology and left. I sat in the car for a minute and decided that I needed to let them know WHY we walked out. I went back in, went to the woman who had started to prep our food and asked for the manager on duty. She informed me that both she and the gentleman I referred to earlier were managers so I laid out exactly why we decided to leave. The entire time I was talking to her she looked on the verge of a smirk and I really got the feeling that what I was telling her was being filed under "pissed off customer, ignore". The thing is, I don't really want her to get in huge trouble. We've all said dumb things behind the line. The main thing is that your staff needs to understand that when it comes to matters of public health you CANNOT take short cuts. With your parent company being Jack in the Box and your closest competitor being Chipotle Mexican Grill one would think you would rather get a letter like this and have a chance to retrain and/or pursue disciplinary action BEFORE you have a food borne outbreak. In summary: 1. Line was dirty and obviously had not been recently sanitized 2. Manager was willing to use serviceware with contaminated food contact surfaces 3. Same manager was willing to sacrifice a brand standard due to not feeling like changing gloves/handwashing/warewashing and actually said so IN FRONT OF GUESTS. 4. The other manager did not press the issue when he had the solution to the problem (get a clean one) 5. Slave joke in an open kitchen (the less said about that the better) 6. No effort made at recovery when I came back and explained why we walked out 7. Seemed insincere while listening, and basically seemed like she couldn't wait to talk about me when I left read more

I had a terrible curb side pickup experience. I arrived on time and called to let them know I was in the parking lot. I was told they would bring my order out in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later, I walked in, having to leave my 3 children in the car. I was rudely told that my order was on the shelf and they were too busy to bring it out! And every time I called during that 30 minutes, the phone was busy. I wanted to support a restaurant near my house, but I will never order from this Qdoba again! read more

This is the best Qdoba out of the 4 area locations I've been to. I always have at least two meals worth of food because these people pile it on! I love getting nachos to go because they always have the chips separate so they don't get soggy. The line moves quickly, everything is always super fresh, and the entire restaurant is always very clean. You really can't go wrong here. read more

Not fast, not slow but this was some great Mexican food. I am a Cali resident in St. Charles, Mo. For Christmas. After a quick stop to Gordmans to shop for an inexpensive suitcase before I go home to Emeryville. My brother was home cooking for our departure dinner so I was a bit guilty but the smell of the grilled chicken from the parking lot detoured my mom, my sister in law and I to what is some of the best tasting food I've had during my visits here. There wasn't anyone here when we got here but a young couple but after we ordered the place quickly filled up shoring up the dinner hour. We got to taste the pulled pork, the slow cooked shredded beef as they both were delicious and appealing. My go-to is the grilled chicken because I could never say no to grilled chicken, black beans, spicy pico de gallo and cilantro. My sisternlaw got the ground beef nachos and my mom ordered something with steak or chicken. I'm not sure which but I was in distraction mode because it was so good, both smell and taste. And I'm so happy we got to sample the 3-cheese queso because that, along with the handmade tortillas were just what hit the spot. What a wonderful place to eat at. My mom isn't easy to please and she was; she decided to wait until tomorrow because she wanted not to miss his bon voyage dinner. I can take that on the plane. The only thing missing is the tequila. And I'm also pleased that they are kid-friendly because they have a kid menu. So families would be happy here. Great music in the background, current hip radio (not too urban or too Disney). We ate here on New Years day as they were having a buy one get one free offer on their new smothered burritos. I really love QDoba, so we decided to try the new menu item. While the smothered burrito was decent, it is probably something I wont order again. Not that it was bad, but it doesn't compare to my other favorites here. I really like the mexican gumbo with pulled pork, and some chips to eat it like nachos. You can get a full meal here for around $10, and they have a rewards card that you can get a free entree after buying 10 I believe. It works on a point system, so it might not be 10 exactly, but somewhere around that number. They also dont charge extra for guacamole anymore. read more

Ok food is ok not bad. That aside it's a little over priced for the serving size. The owners have downgraded their black plastic bowls to these cardboard bowls that get soggy and fall apart before you can get it home all to save what 20 cents per bowl? I agree with previous reviews Chipotle has nothing to worry about, no competition here. read more

Ate there on a Saturday afternoon, something about the food didn't taste right. Couple hours later, started feeling ill. Ended up throwing up all night and the following morning. It's now Wednesday and my stomach/fatigue still hasn't fully recovered. Moral of the story, got food poisoning there. No more qdoba for me. read more

The last time I ate here I said I wouldn't come back but I did. Placed my order online. Said it would be ready by 545. I arrived to find out they had not even started my order which was no big deal. I watched them wipe down counters and refill product before they even started my order. So i waited and waited and asked about my order. I saw several things go into my bag so I asked if it was ready. The girl at the counter said no we are waiting on one more item. I watched them prepare food for 2 people who came in but not my food. 2 more people come in and same thing. So I asked again. The girl again said they are working on it. I said no they are not. I'm watching them make orders for people in line but not mine. She just shrugged snd walked away. After 2 more people I asked for a manager. Turns out they lost the rest of my order which she slammed together with no apology whatsoever. We get home to find out they left out 2 ingredients in my nachos so it was like a bowl of cheese soup. They should be at the top of their game to try to survive the very difficult times for restaurants right now. More than extremely disappointed. I will never go to this location again ever !! read more
