Pretty decent hotpot place! The prices are relatively cheaper than other hotpot restaurants and they have some nice snacks and dessert (like ice cream and tanghulu) at the self service bar. They also have a good food and broth selection.

For our last meal in Flushing we saved the best for last. It was recommended by a local. The hot pot is excellent. The broths are very tasty. Generous portions of fresh meats and vegetables. Somehow, one shrimp snuck into our hot pot, thank you very much. The pistachio shaved ice dessert was a very tasty end to our last meal in Flushing. The dining room is spacious and allows customers and staff to move about without difficulty. The dining room and restrooms are very clean. The staff is numerous and very attentive and I overheard them speaking Mandarin, Cantonese and English. Will I return? Yes! I wish I lived closer than 618 miles away.

This place replaced Dolar Hotpot which used to be in the same spot. It's a competitive area in flushing. Wanted to try it out since I saw some good reviews and some pretty cool looking dessert. Their popular items were good, we kept it pretty standard and enjoyed the meat, veggies and appetizer selection we got. Their popular items soup bases were quite good. The dessert we got was the watermelon which is served in half a watermelon and it was okay. The watermelon balls we're sweet but the sorbet itself and the white bubbles didn't have much flavor. It was pretty but I wouldn't get it again. Nan Hotpot is a pretty standard hot pot, and has free membership. Not sure of all the benefits of the membership.

We've been here twice, everything is fine, but the service is slow a bit. Foods are fresh even the quantity is too small. However, the vibe is cute, like the cutie pandas were decorated.

Loved this place! The broth was super tasty, everything was really fresh, and the staff were so nice. Great spot to hang out with friends over hotpot. Definitely coming back!

Best hotpot ever, I have been here many times, the soup base, the chicken fingers, the meat, and the services, and of course much better than chongqing hotpot and Haidilao. Oh I love it!

Nan hot pot delivers a dining experience that is both cozy and modern. The multi flavor pot option was on point. We got the spicy broth and tomato broth . the ingredients were freshly made and the sauce bar was user friendly.

Not only was this place accommodating but they were so friendly. After being put on the waitlist for Coco Hotpot and taking too long, we decided to try out Nan and it was not a disappointment. As a foodie, I always value treatment over quality but I got best of both here. Liucheng was our server and he was exceptional! I was happy with the prices and the amounts of food served at a time. You can clearly see that the food is cut fresh and they are very generous. If you are looking for a nice experience and delicious food, go to Nan Hotpot, you will not regret it.

We came on a Saturday at opening time and they were open but some things were not ready yet. The service was fast and efficient, just like how we like it, and the restaurant is nice and spacious, lots of table and can accomondate lots of people. This restaurant is very close to the style of restaurants in China, lots of free stuff that comes with the hot pot buffet package like free fruits, drinks, snacks, side dishes etc. which was really nice, really enjoyed their free jasmine milk tea. The menu was slightly confusing but nothing you can't navigate, the initial course of the wagyu meat was very very good, and the rest of the meat were very good as well, all thinly cut and fresh. We got the gold package and the seafood platter was impressive too. My husband doesn't eat seafood and I wanted to try their seafood so we both got the gold package but couldn't finish most. The side dishes like wagyu sushi and bone marrow were really delicious as well. Some issues I had was that it took forever and ever for the food to come out when it's ordered from the kitchen, when there isn't that many filled tables, and when you have a 90 min time limit to dine, I would expect things to come out quickly. Also, we would order stuff from the menu and some of them would just never come... until the waiter tells us that we can grab them ourselves from the side dish section, then why have it on the menu at all to be ordered...? These new restaurants are fun and this one was good enough I probably would come back, but some of these small details make me prefer the older/more traditional restaurants in flushing.

Would you like to be transported back in time to ancient china?…read more How about just testing your spice tolerance to see if you can hang with the best? Well, if you want all of that, PLUS hot pot, look no further - this is the place to be! There is a reason this is one of the highest recommend spots to visit when you're in Flushing. First off, entrance? SO UNASSUMING. It's like, the tiniest door, with no real obvious signage. Once you go through, you basically feel like you're in one of the ancient alleys of China - decor is 1000% great. We had a larger party of 7, and they were luckily able to accommodate us since we lined up a few minutes before opening on a Friday. We actually got IMO the best seats in the house - towards the back, elevated up on some steps, a mini pavilion essentially. But enough about the decor.. how was the food? Well.. GREAT! And honestly, for NYC prices, not too expensive (but a bit pricy for flushing I guess). The quality was top notch (highly recommend trying the mala quail eggs) and the spice of the broth was GREAT! We went with medium since our server (amazing btw, thank you Sean / Shawn / Shaun??) said that he can't even go near hot, it burns his eyes. Medium was just perfect - felt great eating it with some sweats, regretted it the day after, which means I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Meats were good quality, veggies were yummy. I wish the shrimp paste had more in terms of quantity, we barely had seven bites for each of us, but it was really good. Also, pro tip, probably don't order Napa Cabbage, a lot of their other dishes will sit on top of a whole leaf, so you'll probably get enough from that unless you want to consume half a head. Sauce bar is $2 a person - which might be shocking for some to know they charge it, but it's pretty much the norm at a higher end hot pot place in big cities. At least they don't charge $6-$8 like some places and only throw in a few apps/desserts to try to justify it. Overall, really loved this place, and would definitely go back.

They kept surprising us with little extras throughout the meal, which didn't feel gimmicky, just generous and attentive in a way that's rare. What really stood out, though, was something that happened before we even sat down. My family and I were outside juggling a bunch of stuff, and one of the workers noticed. She wasn't even actively assigned to us, but she came over, held the door open, and insisted on helping carry everything in. She didn't just drop it off either--she walked with us all the way until we were seated. That kind of effort, especially when it's not "required," says a lot about the culture there. Beyond the service, the value is just strong. The quality, portions, and overall experience easily justify the price. It's one of those places where you leave feeling taken care of, not just fed.

Seated very quickly and got the lay of the land. Ordered on the iPad. It is not all you can eat so items can add up quickly. Items are usually delivered with the robot. The soup base came by a server. Staff is very nice and checks in occasionally without rushing. Pork stomach and chicken broth was very flavorful. This can double as a soup dish. Ordered wagyu which was buy one get one free. It's a good deal since a decent amount came. The Angus short rib wasn't bad either. Lobster isn't usually what I order at hotpot but added a touch. Taro was flavorful. Even though it's a la carte, one can get filled fast. There is ice cream, fruit and jelly to seal the deal. Got some cute toys for saying the magic words to the wait staff. There's often a long wait on weekends, especially during the peak lunch and dinner hours. Lucky for us, we usually eat early dinner around senior hours of 4pm-5pm and less waits. Our kids go to Goldfish swim school which is literally across from the restaurant. This is the most convenient choice for us to sit down and have a quick hotpot meal. The food quality is one of the best around the area in my opinion. The broth is comparable to the other ones around Flushing. You order via a tablet and the food comes out fairly quick. The service has been great every time we been here. The sauce station carries some snacks as well, such as pigs ear, seaweed salad, peanuts. I think this may change from time to time. I also recall them charging everyone $2 to access the sauce station when they first opened, but I didn't see that on my bill last week. Having traveled from Pennsylvania based on positive experiences Ive been here few times before, I expected a much better experience. The service felt off from the start due to I was speaking Thai and waiter/waitress likely judged that I do not speak English. My husband heard the whole conversation and it bothered him at the moment led him to feel unwelcome, but I told my husband that I don't care what they think so we can enjoy our meal. The overall atmosphere was rather strange for an all-you-can-eat buffet. The total bill for two adults came to ~$74 We ordered two sets of pendant bread () for takeout, and we left a $10 cash tip on the table. Almost immediately after placing the cash down, the waitress approached and asked if it was a TIP making a VISIBLY DISPLEASED expression before walking away. As we were leaving, I was confronted by the owner or head manager (me and him spoke Thai) inquired what was wrong with the service. He stated that the waitress had complained about the TIP amount less than 10%. We explained that we had not included the approximately $30 takeout order in our tip calculation, especially considering it was a buffet restaurant. A quick calculation would have shown that the $10 TIP represented roughly 15% on the dining portion alone, and the waitress's primary contribution during our visit was simply providing water and choice of 'appetizers'. I gave them 5 stars on google and yelp 6 years ago (going to delete it) I have always recommended this place to my boss and colleagues from NY, NJ to PA But I will have to retract my recommendation to them after this.
