My lock was jammed at 1:00am and I could not get it open. So I ened up calling this place. It was a big mistake. I was desperate. It was 1:00am. I didn't really have time to do any research. I just did a search on my phone for 24 hour locksmiths. This was one of the places that popped up. The good news is that they answered the phone quickly and they arrived within 20 minutes. But the guy couldn't get the door open and he told me the only choice was to use a drill. He drilled for a long time, at least 30 minutes. He finally got the door open. Then he said the lock was ruined from the drilling and I needed a new lock. He ended up charging me $680. He wanted $900. I had to bargain him down to $680. I've spoken to several locksmiths since and several friends too. Every single one of them told me I got totally ripped off. The whole service should have cost no more than $250-$350. read more

I used Quick Lock and Pick last night because I got locked out of my bedroom door and my roommate who had the spare wasn't around or answering her phone. I was really stressing, because I'm a broke college student that can't afford an expensive service at 11pm and I needed to get back into my room last night. I'm happy I called this locksmith, Ben came out to my house and unlocked my door in minutes and it didn't break the bank which was nice. They were able to run a credit card so that helped me out a ton! I also got a spare key made then and there, and Ben gave me some good tips to prevent getting locked out in the future. I went all over town to find a key for my front door lock to a house I just bought. It looks different than any other key I've had before. I went to the home depot and ace hardware by my house but they said they didn't know what kind of key it was. I was debating just giving up and buying a whole new lock and calling someone out to install it. I ended up going to the locksmith shop across the street from the shopping center where the home depot is, and thought might as well give it a try. I'm glad I did, the guy identified the key right away and actually had it in stock! I called this locksmith yesterday because the deadbolt on my front door was getting hard to turn. I didn't think much of it until it completely stopped working yesterday when I got home from work. I kept calm...ok I actually panicked! But their is no feeling like being locked out of your own property, its upsetting. I called Quick Lock and Pick and Ben came out and was a pro about it. He was able to pick my lock (just like the movies) to get me in, then he repaired the lock so that it worked with my keys again, and I didn't even need a new lock. Honestly, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I called ahead to get an estimate for the job and was quoted a reasonable price. When the technician arrived he wanted MORE THAN DOUBLE - saying that my locks were too complicated for the price I had been quoted (ps they are nothing fancy - from HD). He tried to bargain with me, but I honestly have no desire to do business with a dishonest company. I already had a quote from another company that was $125 cheaper. AND on top of that, he demanded a $25 service fee for doing absolutely nothing other than trying to WAY overcharge me. read more

Having just bought a house, duplicating keys for all the doors has become a part-time job. After multiple failed attempts to get duplicates from Home Depot that all resulted in non-functioning keys, Quick Lock and Pick gave us a key that - guess what - actually worked. Alan and Ben are the best! Key broke in half to my old RV door. I managed to pry it out, but it was in two pieces. (Home Depot was first stop, and they couldn't help me. THEY sent me across the street to QLPL.) Alan was able to put it together and duplicate it. They duplicated some other keys, and I'm all set. What can I say except look no further! Use this locksmith! He did a re-key job for me, and then about a week later when I couldn't seem to get it to work again he came back out THE SAME DAY I CALLED. Turns out, it was user error. :) But he didn't charge me and he didn't even make fun of me for not being able to work the lock. This guy is nice, honest, and quick. When I went to the dealership they told me they would get me a locksmith to make the key, but their locksmith was wayyy too expensive and they were going to make me wait the whole day. The shop's people are so customer centric! They did not have the blank so they ordered it, and called me when it came in. When I went to get the key, they were responding to another emergency so I had to wait. They were so apologetic that when they made my keys, they only charged me 1/2 (even though I offered to pay full price). I will definitely come here for all my key needs. read more

He made us two copies of a key in about 3 minutes and we were on our way in no time. This key place made copies of the same keys for us three times that didn't work. Granted they were tricky keys but three times is a little much.
