The nail salon is super welcoming and feels like family. I did my nails here and it's amazing!! I really really love every nail set I do here and just look at my nails . I also want to note that my nails were comfortable and lasted for quite awhile which makes me even happier. Great service and work. Another best service here that I received is for my eyebrows threading. This is the only place I would ever go to for my eyebrows. Linda always get my shape correctly, clean it up as much as possible, and make it looks very nice. Hands down best threading.

Had a great experience here! I walked in without an appointment and they were able to fit me in right away. I got a builder gel manicure and a gel pedicure, and I love how they turned out. Linda, did my pedicure and was so kind and attentive. Everyone was friendly, and they really took their time and paid attention to the details. My nails came out exactly how I wanted them. Relaxing environment, came on weekday- walked right in and was seated instantly. Very friendly and talkative staff (but not too talkative) Linda gave me a beautiful pedicure with flowers. The nail salon is super welcoming and feels like family. I did my nails here and it's amazing!! I really really love every nail set I do here and just look at my nails . I also want to note that my nails were comfortable and lasted for quite awhile which makes me even happier. Great service and work. Another best service here that I received is for my eyebrows threading. This is the only place I would ever go to for my eyebrows. I am not sure how this place has such high reviews. But I am pretty sure it is because the owner gives discounts for the 5 star reviews. It does seem like Linda has regulars since she was busy chatting with a customer. I came here last minute because the previous salon overbooked, so I ran over. There were 2 other workers there one male and one female. The female did a good job and seemed to do a good pedicure which is why I bumped this review to a 2 star and not a 1. But I will say the salon also doesn't seem very clean. This review is mainly for the guy doing my nails. When I first came in I asked if they had designs for example cat eye, the guy took it so literal when I didn't want cat eye and asked to see something like an ig video (chrome nails) he flipped and said that's not cat eye. He then continued to say my current nails he was removing were not cat eye, even though the lady that did them used cat eye polish and a magnet, but ok. I picked chrome nails, he said $5 extra. Seemed like a good deal except when he finished putting the base he couldn't find the chrome powder and instead used some other polish. I'm not sure why I'm being charged extra for an extra cost of polish when there was no special application being done. On top of that the guy didn't clean up my nails as he was going, he kept trying to use his fingers. When he was "done" I asked if he was going to clean up the edges. He proceeded to grab the cuticle cutter and cut all over my nails instead of grabbing nail polish remover and a brush! After all this I was ready to leave, the guy doing my nails charged me, $35 for pedicure and $37 for nails. Pretty sure the sign said $27 and he ended up charging me an extra $10 for my "chrome" nails. At that point I just wanted to get out of there I tipped them each $6, and the guy again tried to get an extra dollar from me, while I was asking for change I reminded him multiple times $8 back, $6 for each of you. It's been less than 4 days and my nails are chipping some of the "chrome" polish isn't on the edges, I have bubbles on some of my nails, the shine is pretty much and my nails are still sore from all the excessive nail cutting. read more

My second time coming here my first time was a few months ago to have my nails removed this time I went in and got a Mani pedi and I requested gel builder for nails because because the gel would chipped in a few days, my nails are very thin right now I'm glad I was able to make an appointment the day before because on a Saturday morning. I was the first customer when it opened and then she had more than 3 customers come in before 11 am Mike did my my nails he is good in what he does as well. Linda took her time with me. I will definitely be coming back again ! Her spa was very relaxing the music that she plays is also great! read more

Sadly, Superco and Ocean Star are both gone, but rising from the ashes is a bunch of fun stuff, like Smoking Tiger and this jumbo-sized nail salon next door, Magical Nails. Nothing too magical about it, but this busy salon has about 10,000 polish shades to choose from, and a printed menu with prices so you know what you're getting and how much it will be. All the salon chairs have the back massage function which kills two birds with one stone. Easy parking right in front, walk-ins welcome, and no waiting for your mani-pedi. I stuck my nose in to have a look, and was getting beautified just a few moments later. Minus one star for some unnecessary upselling, and a sour face from the greeter when I declined. But a free bottle of water cheered me up. Would I go back? Yes.

The design was missing several major details, including the white sculpted accents, the flower, the gold embellishments, and the overall quality of the pattern. We came to an agreement were charged $80 for a set that didn't resemble the inspiration. What disappointed me even more was the customer service. When I politely asked if they could fix the nails, I was told they couldn't do anything because my daughter was a last-minute addition and that I would have to wait for my regular nail technician to return. If they weren't able to recreate the design, they should have been honest from the beginning instead of accepting the service and charging full price. As a loyal customer, I expected much better communication and customer service. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I hope management addresses both the quality of the work and how loyal customers are treated. that Kristy was gonna fix her nails. She also told me that before I came into the appointment that I needed to talk to the owner of the company so I was kind of surprised so I called the guy and he was saying oh cause you're still complaining and I don't know what so she doesn't wanna talk to you which is fine. Her suite being in montebello and only a 10 minute drive from me was also a huge plus. So I went on 4/26 (Sunday) at 10am. Location has plenty of parking since it is in a big shopping center. Upon entering I realized there were other services at this address (brows and hair). Anyway, Briana arrived promptly and we got started! Since it was my first time I was super curious and asking a bunch of questions and Briana was very kind and answered them all for me. She was super friendly and professional and we had a great conversation going throughout my appointment. Speaking of appointment, let me share what I had done! I ended up going with a gel manicure and pedicure. I was unsure about what color to choose so Briana helped me decide based on the dress I will be wearing for a wedding I will be attending (in Hawaii). Walking into Onyx completely changed my expectations. Tyn is truly one of a kind. Where do I even begin? He treats every client with genuine respect and gives 110% every single appointment. One thing that really stuck with me was seeing him work on his own birthday. Instead of taking the day off, he came in with a smile, took care of his clients, and made sure everyone left happy. That says a lot about the kind of person and professional he is. He's also a perfectionist in the best way possible. He constantly checks in throughout the appointment, asking if you love your nails. I came in with awful nails that were ruined at another shop. Linda took care of me and fixed my nails. I do hard gel over my natural nails and I thought I was going to have to cut them off and start over, but no. Linda took her time and was able to save my natural nail.
