MiMi is good. Taylor was my original manicurist, but she went out on maternity leave and never came back. Phoebe used to do my pedicure. However, that was Taylor sister when Taylor left she left and it seem like the professionalism left with them.

If I can give a no star to this place I would!! Never going back there again! They do not sanitize their clippers and I got my toe infected!! I went back to let the owner know and when I asked to see their license she gave me my money back. I also told her I would report her the the business bureau she took a picture of me with out my consent and told me to get out and never to go back there!! Which OF COURSE I'm not!! I had to go to the ER to get tetanus shot and antibiotics for the infection.

Worst place ever. I went in for a fill and to get French Tip design and charging $63 ?!? I had asked beforehand how much was the price for a fill and they said $30 and another for a French tip ?? They cut and hurt my cuticles TWICE and when I asked for a discount from the manager , they said $60 for a $3 discount and not only that they left acrylic product underneath my nails and had to drill it out making my nails look horrible !!! Horrible customer service from the so called "manager" from there !! Lines are NOT straight nor did she try to make them even with every nail!!

Love love love Lily! I've been to pretty much all the main nail salons in the area and Lily is by far the best person to have ever worked on my nails. She was very thorough in cleaning up my nail beds - which I totally appreciate. Will definitely be coming back to get her service.

Henny is the best! She always does such a good job on my nails. Although she does try to multitask at time so it does take a little longer but she does a good job so it's worth it! One of the few shops that's offers powder dipped nails. My cousin and I both come here because of her Mom& daughters mani . My daughter enjoys being pampered by the friendly workers and they really take their time ! Thank you again henny!

I came in today only because they sent me a 20% off coupon, i got a new set of acrylics with gel and when it was time to pay i showed the lady the text message i had for 20% off she then tells henny in their language and comes back saying i have to spend atleast 38$ to recieve the 20% off but where in the message does it say you have to spend a certain amount? It clearly says on Everything! If i would have known i would've not even came here it's overpriced and the nail tech was supper rude and she rushed my nails. I think this is all just racism and preferences because my cowoker had the same deal and she was able to get the 20% off on the same service i had just because she's friends with henny! So a little tip if you do decide to come here kiss hennys ass so you can actually recieve the fake advertisement they send people!

Quality :( I went and paid 90 for a mani and pedi gel both and the lady doing my gel nails left them all smeared and the lines were messy. Wont be returning forsure I hadn't got my nails done in a while so it sucks it didn't go well for my mani. However gonna give it a 3 star because the lady that did my pedi went all out and took her time she did amazing. And even after having a nice pedicure done, I ended up with a swollen toe. read more

Henny the owner is very money hungry I been noticing when she charges me she charges me 25 extra. I been going with my nail lady NINA for about a 1 1/2 years now and been noticing this up charge from the owner henny.. my last experience was horrible with the up charge that was basic pedicure & gel manicure for $100 that was too much for me my gel manicure nails are short. I would understand if acrylic but it was my own nails.. Shame on you henny the owner !! Review: 0 stars read more

I would give a ZERO star. The last time I came here caused me my toenails-removed. I went to get my toenails done by the manager HENNY who kept on poking my big toes..she was looking to the Clients that were coming in instead of paying attention to what she was doing. She could've at least stopped first! I went home and i could feel some stinging on the sides of my big toes so much to the point where they BOTH got swollen the next day and lasted for a week and it wouldn't heal worst, got infection. I personally was upset and I came back and showed the manager what happened. All she said was that she was trying to clean the sides (which she actually went deeper). THE WORST NAIL SALON EVER! read more

I always come here. I felt like i had finally found my nail girl because i am extremely picky and she come thru every single time. Well, today i went in just to do my toes. Some lady and her child arrived about 1 min before, and after me about 8-10 mins another lady arrived. Within 10 mins, we all basically got sat down at the same time. Obviously they started with the lady and her child because she DID arrive before me, BUT why did they start working on the lady that arrived 8-10mins after us before me? And no she did not have an appt (i know this bc i heard her ask how long of a wait for a pedicure, obvi wouldnt ask that with an appt). I was not gonna cause a sense, so i just put my shoes back on and made my way out. She did tell me as im walking out "no someone will be with you soon" i said "no im ok thank you." All the pedi ladies when already helping someone else, it was not gonna be "soon." **also keep in mind that i have previously left a good comment for this location. I didnt deleted it bc its still true, however just wanted to tell my experience from today** read more

Would not recommend at all! I have been here before multiple times and I had no issue until I went last week. I got a pedicure done and the lady kept poking at my toe nail until she made it bleed. She did not even remove my ingrown nail because my toe still hurts. I had to go to urgent care to get it treated! Please do not come here! The owner also charged my card $100 more than what she was supposed to and she said it was an "accident" read more

First time trying this place since it's close to work and wouldn't recommend it! I walked in and asked the price of gel manicure and she said it was $25 so I said okay and after sitting down noticed how unorganized and dirty her nail cart is while she was sifting through items placing her phone on a dirty towel. I agreed to have my nails done but at check out she tacked on $3 more dollars to take gel off which she never mentioned when I asked for the initial service then she charged another $1 fee to use my debit card. I was running late so I agreed to come back later to finish where she charged $19 and she would charge $10 when I came back. After coming back to finish she charged $10 plus $1 more to process my card again. Always be upfront with your customers! Not recommending nor going back again! read more

I always get my nails done here and they do a good job, but the last time I went in I also asked for a hair cut. BIG MISTAKE!!!! it's been a month now since my haircut and I can't get use to it. She cut toooo much and it's not a even cut. I've been wearing a pony tail because if I straighten my hair you can see where it's not cut right. I let my hair grow for 5 year and in one day my length was gone. Thank God hair grow out. read more

Do NOT waste your time trying to call to make an appointment. The owner will tell you to they have time for services and when you get there , there will be a lot of people sitting waiting to start their services. The owner needs to be straight up with people and say there is a wait and maybe come back later. I have a 4 month old baby, there is no time to be wasted!! Now I'm having to drive around to find some where else to get a mani pedi. Honesty is key, give customers the fair choice whether to come over or not. read more

Will not be returning got asked to pay before getting my nails done ( the lady next to me nor anyone else had to pay first) just to get streaky nails with spots with no polish on them and horrible service. I also have one finger with a very side ways acrylic. Will need to go to a different nail spa to get them fix. read more

This place doesn't get any stars. I had an appointment at six and the lady told me I had to wait 20 minutes and I asked her why when I have an appointment? She said they're running a little behind so I said ok. 20 minutes later, she comes to me and asked if I could come back tomorrow because they are about to close. I told her never coming back here again worst customer service ever. read more

Started going here a few months ago I am super picky with my nails and was skeptical of a new salon and I fell I. Love with this place!!! Everyone there is so amazing at nails I get someone different every time and my nails and toes always come out perfect!!! Highly recommend!!! They really do have it all they even fixed my hair before a trip I was there all day long cause of my color correction I needed and they gave me snacks and made sure I was comfortable and out in time for my flight!!! Love these girls!!!! read more

Usually after my class are over at Cerritos every once in a while, I head over down the street to QQ Salon. The workers here are so friendly and make my nails exactly how I want them! With the set that I got today, I received so many compliments and people kept asking where I got them done & I of course referred them here. I've been coming here not long but long enough to come back to their new salon and bc Kathy is my girl for my nails and after having Henny do my nails the other day I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else! I've been coming here for approximately 2 years, I went in 2 weeks ago for a mani pedi. I had to use the Atm for some cash. The manager watched me struggle to get money out, I was only able to get a $20 bill bcuz the machine wasn't full, that transaction cost me $1.25, finally the manager said oh let me fix it, and she added more money, so my second transaction costed me another 1.25.. it's not the money, it's her knowing it was empty and it took me 2 transactions to get $40. She was very rude and I'll never go back. I understand she has 4 kids and one in the oven, but don't screw with your clients, we work hard for our money to read more

Pioneer Spa in Norwalk was honestly such a disappointment and I really wish someone had written an…read morehonest review before I went. I've been to a lot of Korean spas across LA and Orange County like Century, Wi, and Crystal, so I know what to expect. A friend recommended this one and I thought it'd be fun to try something new, but this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The only reason I'm even giving it two stars is because of the owner, Mr. Kim. He greeted me at the front, was very polite, and took time to explain everything even though I already knew how these spas work. His friendliness stood out, but that was the only positive part of my visit. Parking was easy and free, which was nice, and I got a spot right in front. The spa is inside a small indoor plaza that feels more like an outdated mini mall than a wellness spot, and the entrance is confusing. Once inside, everything felt cramped and outdated. The cold plunge and jacuzzi were ridiculously small, maybe two and a half feet deep, and you could barely fit two people without bumping elbows. The jacuzzi wasn't hot enough, the cold plunge wasn't cold at all, and the overall atmosphere didn't feel clean or rejuvenating. The amenities were just way below what you'd expect from a Korean spa. The sauna said 173 degrees but I sat there for over twenty minutes and didn't sweat once. The steam room was the opposite, dangerously hot. The steam comes out directly from a vent near the bottom, and if you're sitting anywhere close to it, it literally burns your legs. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's unsafe. Even sitting higher up, I had to constantly scoot away because of how intense the bursts of steam were. That should absolutely be fixed because it's a serious safety hazard. On top of that, the jacuzzi and cold plunge both had warning signs taped on the railings that said things like "Be careful, this is not strong, do not shake." That alone made me feel uneasy. If the metal railings aren't sturdy enough to lean on, they shouldn't be in use. It's something so simple to fix, and I don't understand how they're operating without addressing it. The common area wasn't comfortable either. There were a few massage chairs that you had to pay extra for and no real seating to relax. The orange uniforms were funny and bright, but it made the place look more like a gym than a spa. There are themed rooms like an oxygen room, but they don't offer much. I was planning to eat at the restaurant since the website said it was open, but when I asked, the staff told me it had been closed for a while. Honestly, that was probably for the best because the space is so small that food smells would've been overwhelming. They do offer a few small items like shaving cream, a disposable razor, and a scrub, which is thoughtful, but it doesn't make up for the lack of quality. Between the outdated facilities, safety hazards, and disappointing amenities, this place just isn't worth it. For the same price, I'd rather go to Joy Spa or Century Spa in Koreatown where you actually get what you pay for. Those places have better amenities, cleaner spaces, and real attention to comfort and safety. Pioneer Spa feels neglected, cramped, and uncomfortable. I left more tense than when I arrived and definitely won't be going back.

The massage was not very relaxing. Juanita used short quick motions that made my muscles tense up... kinda reminded me of the same forceful motions that one would use on a manual washboard. And candidly, it felt like she was in quite a rush. (No, I didn't say anything to her because I wanted the full authentic experience that Fejjab Spa offers.) But she was very nice but not very skilled. Also, my massage ended way before my time should have. (I arrived a few minutes late, but even then, the massage ended at least 15 minutes earlier than the original time and there was no clarification if my time would be cut short or allowed to run for the amount of time that I purchased.) This was my first back facial. I was really looking forward to it because I knew there was a bunch of interesting things that I could not reach. The whole experience would have been immensely more enjoyable if they offered a heating lamp. What I discovered during my first experience is with all of the liquids, creams, lotions, and mask, my entire back was exposed and I was cold the entire time. I think the cold from the facial undid any relaxation from the massage. Perhaps the quality of service could have been given more grace, if the services weren't so expensive. I feel this experience was over-priced when compared to far more luxurious establishments offering the same services for less. Though my experience was disappointing,

The actual treatment is very relaxing. Their signature facial also includes a face mask, a shoulder and hand massage, and paraffin wax for your hands and feet. They also offer other services such as weight loss, botox, eyebrow sculpting, etc. Just keep in mind that only RNs are allowed to perform extractions here which turns to be a real hassle at times. One time, I had to wait over 30 minutes just for a nurse to become available, and on other occasions, I couldn't get the extraction done at all because they were too busy. To make matters worse, some of the RNs have poor attitudes and "hardly ever follow up". A family member was specifically told to text the nurse with any medication questions, but when she did, the RN repeatedly took hours to reply. I also had a personal encounter with an RN who got visibly upset when the front desk asked her to do my extraction. She actually took her frustration out on me because she mistook me for another customer. Whether it was a case of mistaken identity or not, paying customers should never be treated this way, no matter how busy they are. Otherwise, the front desk staff and the estheticians themselves are very nice. If you plan on becoming a regular customer, my tip is: Get to know the estheticians and find one you like because some are amazing while others are just so-so. As for the facility itself, the place is very clean, smells great, and has nice amenities. Their waiting area is very comfortable with light snacks, they provide lockers for your things, and they even have heated toilet seats! The place is located inside the Cerritos Mall. But despite the huge parking areas - finding a spot is a real pain. With the exception of some nurses who have attitude, O Skin lives up to my expectations of providing high quality facials.

For this treatment it started where they used a camera to look at my scalp and we saw my hair was oily, though I think that was because I had just come from a massage. They then took me to a room and had me take off my shirt and bra and put on a wrap that would cover my chest. I then laid down and when the technician came back she stared to scratch at my hair with something, it felt so good. She would do this for a while before massaging my head and shoulders and face. Also I want to say they gave me a mask to put over my eyes. After a while she started to wash my hair out and it reminded me just how long it had been since I had someone wash my hair and that's when I just fell into deep relaxation. This went on for maybe 10-20 min, whole treatment was about 90 min long and I lost all track of time so I had no idea how long each stage lasted. The last thing they did was dry my hair and style it. All in all I can say I definitely would recommend this and definitely would return someday.

The massage room has a wall of battery operated candles that give off that ambient lighting and the soothing music is the cherry on top. Liz is so sweet. Talking to her feels like talking to an old friend. She's knowledgeable and good at what she does. The first session I did, I just got the facial massage, but during my session she learned I was post op and suggested the chin contour treatment which comes with red light therapy to promote healing and another machine that uses heat to help tighten the skin. The massage feels like a good type of pain. I know she's working her magic and I leave Agave with my jawline snatched. I love how she suggests things I can do while at home, in between sessions. And she makes sure I'm doing my part to help myself heal. I can't wait to be fully healed and try the other treatments they offer. Also for me they put something on my feet and it burned. One of my toes was left with a burn mark. The nail tech also didn't really understand English so it took her awhile to take off the product so I had to dip my foot inside so I wouldn't burn the rest of my toes.

I noticed there was a lady who did the Balayage hairstyle. It looked very pretty. I'll definitely be back for my nails and pedicure, and will try the hair service next time.
