I used to come here all the time because they have pretty good prices, they're usually quick, and I've never really had a bad experience until my last visit. I normally come every two weeks for a basic Gel-X fill, usually just one solid color, so I'd consider myself a regular. One thing that has always annoyed me is the opening time. The hours posted online and on the windows aren't always consistent with when they actually open. Every time I've come right at opening, it's already pretty busy, so it would be nice if the hours were more accurate so customers know what to expect. This last visit was especially frustrating. I was told the wait would be around 10 minutes, but I ended up waiting closer to 45 minutes. There was one customer ahead of me who was already being pretty rude and difficult, and once it was finally my turn, the nail tech told me to take a seat. Literally seconds later, another customer's family walked in. They didn't have an appointment--they were apparently just coming in after breakfast--and they wanted to get their nails done too. Instead of letting me go since I had already been waiting and was clearly next, the nail tech allowed them to go ahead of me. The customer even said, "No, she's not next. My family wants to get their nails done too," and the staff basically went along with it. I was then told I would have to wait again, even though I had already been there for almost 45 minutes. At that point, I was so frustrated that I just left. I understand that walk-ins happen and that things can get busy, but I don't think it's fair for someone who has already been waiting to suddenly get pushed back because a group of people walked in without an appointment. It's disappointing because I genuinely liked coming here and had never had an issue before. Unfortunately, this experience really changed my opinion, and I probably won't be coming back. I just wish the staff had handled the situation differently and been fair about who was next. read more

From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming. The pedicure and manicure were top notch: clean, precise, and relaxing. What truly set them apart was the 10-minute leg massage they give during the pedicure--it was exactly what I needed after a long day on my feet. And right before finishing, they offered a 10-minute shoulder and neck massage while my nails dried. I felt so refreshed, with all the tension just melting away. The salon itself is bright and clean. The chairs are comfortable, and they use good quality products. The technicians check in with you during the massage to ask about pressure, which I appreciated. Overall, it's rare to find a nail salon that gives you real, dedicated massage time, but this place absolutely does. Lin has done it again I've been going here for a year and a half and I absolutely love this place. My girl Lin always take care of me and this time she did my Christmas nails. I did spend a pretty penny but I did a different design on all 10 nails so it was expected and I also got a pedicure with an extra massage. Normally when I go I don't spend that much, typically around $130 for gel x nails and a pedicure. (But they have different price ranges for different things) These nails are so cute and I've already gotten some compliments on them. read more

The service was terrible, and I find it wrong that the staff overcharged for a simple nail design. Perhaps it was my fault for not asking about the price beforehand, but they didn't even use acrylic or do anything complex--it was just a simple coat of polish. They didn't clean my nails or take the time to do a quality job, and the price they charged seemed way too high. There are better places with better prices elsewhere. read more

Avoid this salon at all costs. I came in on Sunday May 31st at 2pm as a walk in. The technician who took me rushed through my pedicure and cut me on my big toe (right foot) while filing off old gel. It was clear she was in a rush, visibly irritated having to take me as a walk in and did a half assed job. It was one of the worst pedicures I've ever gotten. My toe nails were not even filed straight across. I paid $5 extra on top of regular gel price for their "specialized Japanese gel" which came off when removing my sock in less than 24hrs later on my pinky toe (left foot) due to poor quality nail prep prior to applying the polish. I returned to the salon the morning of Wednesday June 3rd to ask if they would be able to fix it. Another technician was able to help me. However today Thursday June 4th, my fourth toe on my right foot as come off after as an entire piece as stepping out of the shower. I would have rather been turned away as a walk in if the nail tech was not capable of quality work or if she was having a bad day. I paid extra to have my gel removed, new gel placed on & was charged $5 on top of that because of the Japanese gel I had chosen. This has never happened to me at other salons so trying out this spot has been very disappointing. This was definitely a waste of my time & money. read more

Went to check out Lido Nails which is a new salon near my home. The salon is very clean and orderly...nicely decorated. Staff was courteous. Ingrid took her time on my dip manicure and gel pedicure and she speaks Spanish which was nice because we were able to chit chat. Ingrid also took her time to remove the bad dip manicure I had from a different salon , which was super thick and gross. It is next to a Starbucks which allows you to get a treat before/after. I came across this place and decided to stop by for a gel manicure and pedicure. Let's start with my pedicure. I requested callus removal and let's just say I paid for nothing. My pedicure was rushed. I feel like I paid just for them to wash my feet. My toe nails weren't even filed. My manicure was not the best. They are very cheap with the gel polish. I can see through my nail even with the polish on. They didn't even clean my nails. I have dirty particles under the gel polish. The place is cute but I won't be going back. I was very disappointed after the service. I choose not to say anything because I was with my friend and she asked me not to complain just to let it go. read more

However the pedicure was done so sloppy , I never had a salon leave the old nail polish underneath. The worst part was I didn't notice until I got home and really looked at my toe . If I was given the option for zero stars I would have chosen that option instead! I had a horrific and traumatic experience at Lido Nail a few weeks ago. I received multiple services pedicure and eye brow wax, only to be disappointed. They do not sanitize pedicure instruments after every use per customer and my toe nails are beginning to look unhealthy since I last received service from them. Secondly they burned my eyebrow during a wax service I received. They took no accountability or responsibility and still had the audacity to charge me. I felt threaten when they said I have to pay or they will call the police even after they injured me and burned me. After experiencing such a horrific service I gracefully tried to give myself time to heal only to realize I have been badly scared for life. I finally initiated contact with the manager in which "she claims to be cousin of the owner" and she began to verbally attack via phone and yelling how she doesn't care and that I can report them and how they have insurance! At this point I realized how disgusting they operate and treat everyone badly and I decided to not recieve service anymore as they initially gaslighted me about their actions and behavior! I requested for their insurance information so I can file a claim and they refused to provide the information. Instead the cousins owner whom identifies as manager rather text me that they are willing to fire the girl that burned me and she also need to come out of pocket to pay for the service. They hire people (Hispanic girl) that speak no English have no papers or license and mistreat and abuse them, instead of taking responsibility as a business owner. The girl that burned me was very apologetic and so scared that the owner will call immigration on her! Manager like owner are very narcissistic, abusive, disgusting and selfish and do not know how to operate a sincere business and nor respect their own employees and customer! I contacted the police so I can get a report how they refuse to provide the insurance! If you support Latinos do not get service from this place they abuse immigrants and provide horrific services and that no accountability for their actions! read more

I was excited to try this new location since it's conveniently along my route home. I got a gel pedicure and Gel-X nails. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. However, I was disappointed with my nails. When I got home, I noticed that one of my Gel-X nails was lifting at the base, and one of my toes had a large bubble that hadn't dried properly. I called, and they were able to fix it the next morning. Unfortunately, over the next few days, more problems emerged. I got Gel-X to help grow out my natural nails, but my natural nail was not attached to the Gel-X nail underneath, which has caused them to snag and rip. I also noticed that the gel polish on a few of my toes began peeling off. While I believe they would have fixed these problems if I went back, I just don't have the time or energy to keep making return trips. read more

It's a new place with a nice atmosphere right next to the Starbucks I go to every morning. It was easy to make an appointment, and I was seated and tended to on time, but the service was very impersonal and routine. I was there for about 30 minutes for a $60 dollar pedicure. The pedicurist was very young and she didn't know much English. She did a lazy job without asking if I was satisfied. A week later, my toes were sore, and the nails bulging from pressure that hadn't been relieved. There are a lot of better options in Norwalk, Whittier, and La Mirada, where the nail technicians are more professional and more personable.
