Very cute nail spot with a Frenchy vibe. There are crystal-looking chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and French artwork on the wall. Oh, la, la...viva la France! They also played nice, relaxing music. My favorite song that was played was "Love Me Tender" by Elvis...a classic. They do not have a TV. Came here as a walk-in and got a basic manicure with regular polish ($25). They were pretty busy but they were able to take me right away and placed me in a comfy chair. There are a bunch of places to find polish on the wall. At first I only saw OPI polish but then I turned the corner and found Essie (my preferred brand). The only brands I saw here were OPI and Essie which are typical brands at most nail shops I have visited. I went with Essie Ballet Slipper a pretty light pink that was Queen Elizabeth's go-to. My manicurist did a good job and was patient and kind. I could feel the breeze coming from the doorway which I liked because a nail shop needs good ventilation. Finding a parking spot was difficult. Price point is comparable for the area ($45 regular mani/pedi) My pedicure was awesome. Mia is great and super thorough ! My manicure however was pretty terrible. I wasn't asked what shape I wanted or if I preferred cut/file. My nails were shaped crooked and left jagged. My cuticles look awful. I asked for a French manicure and the lines were sloppy and had gaps. There is residue nail polish from my previous manicure. I asked the woman doing my nails to correct them several times but at some point gave up. It was a valiant effort. I ended up going to a different salon for a color change right after. read more

Not too happy with my nails.. I asked for a stiletto nail for long and instead got off shape small nails.. I got a little thrown off too with how the person who did my nails didn't know much about chrome coloring.. and the way he applied it with his finger and not a sponge And I kept getting my cuticles cut.. but seriously I felt ripped off for my nails due to the length being inconsistent with shape and cuts. 150$ for chrome, bad shape and injuries to my hand with a scrub? Not that good.. I give credit to the one who did my nails who for being sweet but.. this UPDATE: They refused to give me a refund after I called yet said they wanted to fix it. Yes they fixed it on Wednesday and it's already Tuesday and already left hand is cracking and inconsistent with bumps while the right hand has bumps and colors coming off. Mind you this a gel and acrylic set and already having this happen!? Never will I go back to this and I will be disputing my money from this. Update: My gel nails chipped within three days. Don't bother with this place. My nails look decent but this place leaves a lot to be desired. I dropped in because I was running errands in the area and desperately needed a mani/pedi. They seated me immediately and started working right away. With that being said, the place is super cramped and claustrophobic and they take every opportunity to upsell you bullshit you don't want or need. My previous gel mani was done with Presto gel but for some reason, they really struggled with removing it and removing the gels took them like 30 minutes (I'm usually in and out within 30 minutes). They also used a drill to remove the gel which is unheard of anywhere else. My nails look decent but I was in there for way too long and the constant efforts to upsell were annoying. I won't be back as the experience was pretty stressful. read more

I can not stop raving about this place! So welcoming and warm. They accept walk-ins, which is great for me because I'm bad at planning ahead. The best part is that every technician is equally amazing and consistent. Their massages are AMAZING too. The salon is super clean and organized, and had a lot of light. The chairs are so comfortable I almost fall asleep every time. Manicures/pedicures are pricey but worth the expense for sure. When she was finished I gave it to her, and she had the audacity to ask me if I have CASH FOR TIP. literally. What the ****. I had to ask her to repeat herself to make sure I heard what she said. The nerve. Tip is not mandatory, and do not ask your customers or first time clients if they want to tip. If I like your service I will tip you. Also their pedicures are VERY basic. And look at my manicure she didn't even go around the whole nail you can see the second layer. It smells terribly of harsh chemicals. They should really work on improving air flow and have fans going. I asked for a polish change. I asked that she file my nails and the manicurist told me that would be an additional $2. That seems ridiculous, especially when they are charging $10 for a polish change. There are a million nail salons in Beverly Hills. No need to sit in a bath of chemicals for this type of service. read more

Sub-par manicure. Globs of top coat all over my cuticles. Tried to put three coats on just one finger (I wanted two) and was indignant when I asked for it to be re-done. I asked for a mani/pedi but they seem to have forgotten about the pedi - with the manicure being so bad I decided to not remind them. Insult to injury, returned my change in five dollar bill (rather than singles) and when I asked for singles - so that I could tip at the sub par 18% that the service deserved - just pocketed the $5 and walked off. Voila fit the bill, and Lory, one of the owners, sees to it that she mentors the younger manicurists as to what each client prefers so that if she's not available, there's someone else you can count on to have the same excellent service. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I felt that my eyes were starting to water. And it's not because I have never been to a nail salon place. To the contrary, I've been to numerous ones, recognizing that some provide better ventilation while others don't do as well in that area. However, my experience at this place was definitely one of the worst in terms of the ventilation. Given that the prices are not cheap, you would definitely expect a better premise and better ventilation. This is a major flaw that will detract many customers from returning since everyone knows that they smell of chemicals necessarily means there are a lot of toxins in the air and that can affect your health in the long long-term. I actually feel worst for the employees who work there. The service I was given at this place was outstanding. When I needed a quick mani/pedicure before a job interview in Beverly Hills one day, the salon was at a convenient location, with a parking lot right behind it. The salon was spacious and contained a modern look, with orange and grey colors. Also, I have to say, gotta love the idea behind the chairs. In addition to being comfortable, they allow manicures AND pedicures to be done at the same time. They performed terrific care for me, as my hands and feet felt clean and nice. However when we arrive they didn't seem to work on us right away. We had to wait 15-20 min. They did do my pedi but it felt rushed then other times. Afte living my entire life in LA, I have never remained a devoted customer at a nail salon for as long as I have at Voila. I guess you could call me a lifer! They salon is very clean, has extremely comfy chairs, an staff exceptional staff that always offers you water, and also has an endless color selection. The prices are incredibly reasonable considering its location and the experience aways lives up to my expectations. Voila is a very well oiled machine which is why basically anybody who know anything in BH gets there nails done here! Emma is by far my favorite nail tech...she is too sweet! But truth be told, everyone is FABULOUS. So much so that I always tip over 20% because I am so grateful for the care and time they put into my manicure, pedicure, or massage. I can't say this place is relaxing. It's a revolving door of customers and workers. You can be in and out quickly. The pedicure uses a little water basin and is very basic. The manicure and gel removal was good. Your services will always be done simultaneously. Lots of Polishes to choose from. Everything was OK, but nothing great. I have been going to another nail salon in BH for 10 yrs now and my lady had to leave due to a family emergency so I needed a great replacement. So I finally made an appt. and went with a friend. The salon itself is nice & new. I'm fabulous and look younger than my age (about 10 yrs,) in my mid 30's. I let her do her thing especially being the first time to test her skills. Firstly, she did not ask what shape I like and ruined them. Filed them super narrow and super short. My natural nails are so nice that people ask if I have Gel or Acrylic. Second, she acted as though I've not had a great manicure so she short cutted many steps. The entire process literally took 20 minutes. LOL - Classic! Through out my visit I waited to see how her polish would be, as it is the most important part. OMG it was as though my 11 yr old niece had polished!! so inaccurate & UNPROFESSIONAL! What a waste of time and tip. She didn't deserve a dollar. I'm sure she can be professional if she wants but judged me too soon. Wrong Move. Note to nail shop owners - CALM DOWN - a business owner that relies 100% on customers should provide the best customer service 100% of time, EVERY TIME; especially to new customers. A professional polish covers all the nail with every coat not so you can see the different layers of polish and parts of nail remain unpolished. DISASTER. SO AMATEUR. I came here for a Manicure Pedicure. The woman doing my manicure was very rushed, but she still did a good job. The woman who did my pedicure did a fine job. Beverly Hills pricing is usually very expensive, it was $35 that's why the two stars. The customer service here is horrible though, I sat after my nails were done for about 15 minutes without anyone coming over to give me sandals or take their tip or check on me if everything was OK. I said excuse me a couple of times before I finally I got up, got my own sandals from the front and left without leaving a tip. The first time in my life I have left without giving a tip anywhere and will not return to this salon that I have been to multiple times without error. When I asked to fix the horrible manicure, the manicurist refused and repeatedly said my nails looked "fine"... "Fine" is not what I'm paying top dollar for in Beverly Hills. Secondly, appointments don't mean a thing at Voila Nails. I showed up to my 2pm appointment ON TIME and my reserved manicurist was just starting on a DIFFERENT CLIENT! She could not give me a legitimate excuse for having started on someone else and did NOT apologize once. Lastly, and perhaps most uncomfortably so, the workers at Voila have no problem gossiping ABOUT YOU, IN FRONT OF YOU, in their own language. Not sure I completely understand how I was shuffled out in less than 20 min for a mani/pedi. Had my wife call earlier and make an appt. arrived 5 min early. I was greeted by one of the employees who subsequently had me sit by the door and wait for a chair. Now mind you this place is pretty large and looked busy so it seemed perfectly normal to wait until a chair was available. The employee then spoke to two other employees of which I had no idea who was the receptionist and who is the manicurist. To my surprise, the same employee came back and said she was going to do my mani/pedi where I was sitting. By the door directly in front of the location. I hardly ever get a mani/pedi but it seemed like they had no regard for my appt and that because I was literally the only male in the place that it would be appropriate to put me by the door. I'm pretty sure that not a single women or female patron would have been sat there it was literally a chair by the door alone. It might as well have been on the sidewalk. Made the whole experience very uncomfortable since every single person that walked in had to pass me to get in. Hardly a way to relax and unwind. The person that did my nails was somewhat pleasant but it turns out it's all a ploy to "add on" extra services that I'm pretty sure comes with a mani pedi. The whole thing flew by with what seemed like minutes. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I was certainly no regular, and I'm sure they treat their regulars with vip service but as a matter of principle, I don't think they should treat their male patrons with subpar care. I was so pleased with the professionalism of the people. Everything was extremely clean and all the products she used were top quality! I loved it!
