I am from San Antonio Texas, I have probably tried every Rusa drink in town this was one was one of the best drinks that I have tried. I also had a Sandia drink that was different but good. Texture was on the thick side almost like a purée. All in all it was great!

Such a cutesy restaurant that emphasizes on what they do best- JELLY! This diner proves that you…read morecan have dessert for breakfast with their extensive list of sweet breakfast items ranging from cereal-themed French toast/pancakes to filled-donut flights. I got a taste of their jelly from the side they gave me with my scramble and it was the best jelly I've ever had in my life. I'd so buy a jar of it to bring back home next time I'm in Denver if they have it for sale! Our server was so informative about the menu options and gave us recommendations. I was so indecisive with my coffee choice and he helped me narrow it down to a classic cappuccino- blessed! He was kind enough to let us order a to-go item ahead and placed it on the side for us to pick up before heading out. The food came out very quickly and pipping hot as well. The Boulder Scramble 8/10: Slightly heavy on the feta but who doesn't like cheese?! The potatoes were well-seasoned and the sour cream added richness to the meal. Sourdough was lightly toasted and extra yummy with the smooth side of butter and sweet jelly.

The variety of toppings makes it fun to mix and match. The Thai Peanut was unique and surprisingly good, but the Mexican Chocolate was the clear favorite at the table. I had the avocado toast. The side salad was a standout -- spinach, small orange slices, and a berry vinaigrette. Super fresh, light, and refreshing. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and said it had great flavor with a nice kick of spice. Vegetarian options were clearly labeled, with a note to ask about vegan swaps. The service, unfortunately, didn't match the food. We waited at the door for at least 10 minutes without being acknowledged. After we were seated, our server started taking our order but stopped midway to run someone else's food. We also never got water refills, and with just one napkin each for donuts and a full meal, I found myself folding and refolding mine a million different ways. Overall, service felt slow and a bit disjointed, like we weren't a priority. If the service improved, this would easily be a go-to brunch spot.

There is mainly street parking and we got lucky with a spot just down the street. The restaurant was already busy at 9am and had a long wait when we left. Testament to good restaurant and popular neighborhood. This is a brunch spot so come ready for breakfast and/or lunch grub. We were hungry and tried a bunch. The drip coffee & lattes were delicious (oat milk is available) and come in cute animal cups. We started with 2 of the sausage rolls which are akin to pigs in a blanket but much higher quality sausage in puff pastry served with syrup. Very good but nothing extraordinary. The small bite star is the spicy egg salad on crispy potato. These are divine with just enough spice to balance the creamy egg salad and insanely crunchy and delicious fried potato (like crispy rice but potato) We also shared a muffin of the day which rotates flavors. It was spectacular. The mortadella Sammy was fried and filling with a berry jam, cheese and egg. I had the egg over medium and it was messy in the best way. This is a sandwich to have extra napkins for. I'd 100% recommend it. The avocado toast was tasty and came with poached eggs (you can order one or two). Great food, service and vibes. Note there is a 20% service charge that is separate from tip, Our server did explain it when we first sat down so it wasn't hidden.
