Since then, I have worked with Dan to replace all of our outlets with updated designs. Install new outlets in our garage, run power to our patio to string lights there. He also installed a generator connection at our main distribution panel and a whole home surge protector. We currently use Dan for all of our electrical work he is professional, prompt, thorough, thoughtful, clean, friendly, fairly priced and exceptionally easy to work with. He is highly knowledgeable and honest. I will only work with other electricians if Dan is unavailable, (who am I kidding, I would wait for him to be available). He is highly recommended.

(1st picture) I understand Prices change, but If I knew the price was going to double and the service would significantly decline, I would have not trusted them to install 4 simple lighting fixtures in my media room. The company is very responsive initially but as soon as I tried to contact this company both via phone and email it was dead silence. I wanted my bill to be reviewed. The 4 lights in my media room could be a accessible by a foot stool, and the previous fixtures had already been removed because I recently got the room painted. All the electrician had to do was connect the wires. The contractor came during a work call and I admit I mistakingly confused the 8 on my bill for a 3. He arrive an hour early. Almost $900 to put a lighting fixture on the wall, and the technician didn't even put the crystals on the light. (2nd picture). The job was completed under an hour. It was my human error on the quote. But I still would have have been out of $80 if I declined the quote. I think this company should provide at least a starting price before the trip is made The one star is because the company wouldn't even give me the respect to call me back to discuss my bill, and deceiving business practices. No response and after several days I called again. He responded by text and said he had to take a few personal days. An appointment was set for him to come give us an estimate and he did send that after our first meeting. At that appointment some additional plans were discussed and another appointment set. This time he didn't show up, didn't call and didn't text. I sent two text to him asking if he was coming and no response. We had plans for the day and we were left waiting and wondering. On my third message I told him he had already had two red flags previously by responding several days after I had called and this was the second issue of not showing and that I could not work with undependable and we were done. Then he finally responded and said he got hung up building a swing set! That's very unprofessional. No I would not recommend him, he seems to work when he wants to as some previous reviews on Yelp have had the same issue. In his defense he seems to be a very nice guy, but I wasn't hiring a nice guy.

No one even came close to matching their price. And the integrity of just dealing with Bryan and his brother, was top of the chart. A+ Always quick to answer any questions. He would text us if he was running a few minutes behind, or letting us know time wise where we were. He was so patient, professional and friendly. Bryan and Jayson worked long and hard. I can't stress enough all the labor that went into these 30+ year old cabinets, prepping and painting. My kitchen was well protected and they took extra care to protect the appliances, as well. The reason why I chose them is because they were the only plumbers to actually answer my questions. I know we are all very busy, and people using Thumbtack to get business usually get a lot of inquiries all day long. I asked several companies what the cost would be to fix the faucet, and/or replace it. Everyone else replied with their standard $50/$99 visit fee, but Artex was the only one to actually answer the question. $99 to fix, $199 to replace. Fine! Great! Simple enough! Had them come out the next morning, which was awesome. I was supposed to receive text messages letting me know the guy was on his way, but that did not happen. I also usually get other text message follow ups from places like this, which I also did not get. It's possible they did not have my cell number right, which is just as well. It's not like I wasn't here anyhow! Guy repaired the thing in less than half and hour. Works like a charm! No more leak! No more damp soil all along that side of the house! Yay! He had great ideas and was very personable. My project was to add a 60 AMP subpanel to a new outbuilding and wire the building with lights, outlets, and an A/C - Heater circuit. My expectations were exceeded with the look of the wiring metal conduit. It all took about 8 hours to complete, and the total cost of the job was much, much, lower than those large commercial companies, and everything that was done met all county and state electrical codes.
