I went to go buy portable heaters from Lowe's which brought a little comfort. I saw this company "Optimum Air" a few times on my search and there were quite a few reviews. I'm normally drawn by the comments and reviews and I decided to give them a try. I called made an appointment and everything was professional. I even received a text confirming my appointment that day and later that day I received another text showing, "Michael from Optimum Air Co. its on the way." And it came with a link to track their arrival along with a photo of the person. This was really professional and loved the promptness. The tracker showed that his ETA is 2:03, which is right on time, and he came, right on time. I must say, Mike is very friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. The issue I was having was no power to the unit, and before then, the fan didn't turn off at all. He fixed both. He wired something, and showed before of the issue and showed me actually what he was doing. Diagnosed the problem and being…read morethat our unit was many decades old and we had been planning on replacing for a few years anyway we agreed on that being the best option. This wasn't an emergency but they still were able to get the job done very quickly. Our attic space is very low and our set up needed quite a bit of work with changing some duct work and adding things that were missing. They finish in one day and it looks great. We also had them take a quick look at our other unit which we had replaced 5 years ago and he discovered they didn't properly install the exhaust so co² was leaking into our attic and previous installers left a portion without insulation around the ducts. They were great with providing images of the problem areas and then the images once the work was done. They also personally showed me a couple of things about the units. (E.g. the filter placement shut offs) Very nice straightforward men, polite, and extremely hardworking. 10/10 would recommend!
