The ordering process needs some improvement. Having to wait for a large table of 14 (or multiple tables) to fully make up their minds before I can place my order is frustrating and inefficient. If I already know what I want, it shouldn't turn into a waiting game. Suggestion: Allowing customers to place their food orders at the host stand or before being seated would make things much smoother. The inside is very cute with picnic tables and artificial grass on the floor I went with a coworker, and I ordered the 7 ounce Wagyu burger and pick my own toppings. My buddy ordered the all-American burger, and we waited and enjoyed the atmosphere. When the food came, it was very good. Not the best burger I've had in my life, but no complaints. My buddies burger was good.. it said on the menu that It was a 3 ounce patty which I kind of don't believe because it looked bigger than that. The fries were very good. Service was great. My first visit was a little off but gave this place a second try this time with grandkids and they enjoyed it i went before we went to the pool and ordered food to go ordered the cheese curds and mini tacos appetizers and kids cheese burgers and fries and myself the buy 2 burgers for 12 but didn't realize they didn't come with fries , but all taste great kids had fun and service was great and this is a good place if your with kid's they have games and activities and clean fun picnic style atmosphere that kept them happy, if I have the grandkids or if I'm out with families with kid's and will recommend to others with their kid's. I found this restaurant when I arrived to town late. It really seems like an amazing restaurant if you have kids and you wanna hang out as a family they have a lot of large games and a play area for children. The Reuben sandwich I had was okay. Took my husband here for his birthday. The young man who greeted us was very courteous & friendly. The ambiance & decor was like you were in a backyard with picnic tables and artificial grass. We sat down & the young man answered our menu questions and gave us time to decide what we would order. Great customer service! Hubby ordered a Philly Cheesesteak with everything on it & I ordered the Waygu burger with mayo, lettuce, tomato & onions and onion rings. As a first impression, we excited to try their food. At first bite, the meat was nice and hot but seemed like the buns were refrigerated because they were cold. This made the cheesesteak sandwich & the burger unappetizing. Is it so hard to warm up the buns prior to placing the meat & toppings on it? The burger was more disappointing because had their special sauce when I specifically asked for mayo only & didn't come with the onions I requested. However I will give them credit for putting the lettuce & tomato in the burger requested. I don't know if this was an isolated incident but they were not extremely busy that night and I just felt like the people in the kitchen didn't care and just went through the motions of cooking the food. I hope this constructive criticism encourages the restaurant to up their game & quality of how they serve their food. Had been here once for takeout on a Sunday afternoon and was a relaxed setting. Unfortunately, went back on a Saturday at noon and it was packed. Waited for two table to open up side by side since we had a large group of about 10 people. Waited for someone to take our order. Decided to go to the counter twice to order our food since we all had our menus filled out. The first time they told us to wait at our table and someone would come by to take our order. But once we saw new groups arrive and had their orders taken before anybody approached us, decided to go to the counter a second time for a friendly reminder and that we had our menus filled out to order at once. The girl told us she was taking an order at the counter and she would help us once she was done. 10 minutes later I noticed she left the counter and walked outside towards the parking lot. After seeing that and 5 minutes later no one came to greet us while all the new guests were being served, we decided to leave. I was really hoping to try something new from their menu, but left with a bad taste in my mouth. Thankfully our next option of restaurant helped us immediately and food came out quick. read more

Kid friendly dining spot! Food was delicious, fresh, and generously portioned. The atmosphere makes it a great place for kids. There are yard games on a grass turf floor that kids and adults can play while waiting for food. The staff were all friendly and explained how to mark your order in the menu. WOW! After reading reviews in the local "foodie" group, and needing somewhere to hang out during a tire change, we decided to try Dad's. What a cute surprise! I've seen a few people complain about certain thematic elements, like the picnic tables, but what I saw was a charmingly executed theme with so much character! I love the simplicity of the ordering, but I may just be a sucker for "interactive" things. I got the fish n' chips and my boyfriend got the philly cheesesteak. Both were insane. As a transplant from Washington State, I'm always super wary of fish here. But that Pollock?! Stop right now. Amazing. 100/10. The philly cheesesteak was ALSO so good! I got a small taste but my boyfriend was reticent to share more. To top it all off was the french fries, truthfully I think the best in town. Perfectly seasoned and we suspect double fried for the perfect crisp fry. My one note is that the service was VERY slow at a time when the dining room was not full. Servers didn't touch tables after dropping food, our only drink refill came before our food did, and it took 4 or 5 minutes to get menus. It does feel that menus could be on the table at a place like Dad's, which I think would help service flow. Also, tables took a long time to be bussed so when we walked in, there were 2-3 empty tables but we could only sit at one. It felt a lot like they have family members with no food service experience helping out. Friendliest people ever, just need more training. To sum it all up? Phenomenal food, but service needs a lot of work! I can't wait to see how this local business develops. read more

Went to the grand opening today. Love how they decorated the restaurant. It is just like a backyard, with a bunch of small cute little decorations. The staff is very friendly and greets everyone that walks in. Our server explained everything on the menu. Lots of options for the build your burger and sides. I went with the salmon special. It was perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. I had the Mac and cheese for one side, it was a very tasty mix of cheese sauce and bacon. I had the garlic potatoes for my 2nd side. They were moist and garlicky and a perfect match for the salmon. My husband had the chili size burger and the macaroni salad. He enjoyed them both.
