I am happy with the response time of our new unit install especially in August when no one else was available for weeks. However, I'm unhappy with the install of this job. Very careless and left fiberglass installation in two vents. I'm asking it to be addressed and only response was he would check the grills. Obviously we did that already. Still no response for days and I'm getting frustrated. They said they would fix the drywall. I'm happy to have air. But hope we aren't getting sick from this. Yelp comes to my rescue once again. With a heat wave approaching (in December no less), I knew I had to get the AC fixed. I sent out three requests for quotes to three businesses on yelp. Changing my initial review from several years ago due to difficulty getting the annual maintenance service that we received with our initial installation. First year maintenance was scheduled and no issues. Second year maintenance took a while due to multiple rescheduling/no-call backs. Third year request for maintenance was just crickets. No responses to request for annual service and I even referred Qualis to my brother-in-law who had them install his AC but still, no responses to requests for annual maintenance after Year 2. Overall very pleased with the install and install team and products (no issues yet!) but have been disappointed by the long-term follow-up. read more

I have used Juan at Qualis Heating and Air for over 7 years. The quality of his work was good, his prices were fair . For all these years, I was satisfied. On 9/27/2016 we purchased new AC units from Qualis for a total of $12,340. The units were installed with no problems. He provided in writing an itemized contract which stated the details of the all the parts and warranties...10 years warranty on parts and 2 years warranty on labor. The problem with one of the units started in May 2021. He charged us $500 for parts ( circuit board ) and labor. Two weeks later the 5 -ton evaporator coil needed to be replaced and again he wanted to charge us $3000 for parts and labor. This time when we questioned him why he keeps charging us for parts that are clearly documented by both him and Bryant Company, his answer was "inflation." To this day we don't understand why he insisted on charging us for warranted parts. We were willing to wait months if necessary if the part was back ordered. We hired another AC company and was charged $1000 (not his $3000) labor and NO PARTS cost and is now installed 11/12/2021. Yes, it is still under warranty until 2026. We saved $2000. I had always respected Juan and was very pleased with past work. He is now a big disappointment. This experience cost us much time and effort to correct his not honoring the warranty. We are still out the approximate cost of the $200 price he charged for the circuit board. His word means nothing to me now. read more

I was recommended to use Qualis Heating & Air from a friend who had mini splits installed in his house. Since we were roasting every summer we decided to give Jose a call. They came out quickly and gave us a quote that was very reasonable relative to the other companies I had spoken to. I had them quote me on a variety of systems and ultimately decided to get a mini split with four zones. Once we were ready, they were able to come out a few days later to install. The installation took only three days and came out great. They had a team of guys that appeared to work very efficiently and were careful around the house. The unit we got is very nice and the air comes out unbelievable cold. The outdoor unit is also crazy quiet so you can't hear it at all when you are inside.
