I had multiple vehicles serviced. As usual I always prepay that way when the work is done I can just pick up the car and receipt. At pickup on all occasions I was asked to pay more than what I was told and was never informed of price increase or that more work was too be done. I was only informed at pickup. Even though I had the money to pay for all of the services. It was a lack of professional work relationship. Along with that now I'm going to need more work done because the vehicles weren't fully expected after spending nearly $4000 in bills. I feel like I'm always getting ripped off when I go get my car fixed or even just checked out. Mike is an honest guy when it comes to this stuff. I've asked him if it was worth fixing a few things on my car (it's 16 years old so it can be a bit noisy at times), and he has assured me more than once about my concerns, their severity, and whether it's necessary to take immediate action instead of making quick $$ off me. Yeah, you may not get immediate service on your car, but that's because they're busy and it's a small shop. I will continue to come here for my car's future needs. read more

I'm the past, the service here has been relatively good. However, my last experience here was bad enough that I won't go back. The guy at the front desk was very polite when I first dropped my car off for an oil change. It was 8 15 in the morning, and I was told my car would be next and would be done within an hour. I left and came back 2 hours later, and my car was still sitting in the same spot----norhing done. When I inquired, I was told that other cars had to go first and mine would be done"soon". He couldn't be more specific than soon, and he had a bad attitude towards me and he didn't apologize, so I took my car and went to jiffylube. It was more expensive, but worth it. I can't stand nasty attitudes, bad customer service, and having my time wasted. read more

I did break job from firestone 10 months ago and they did so bad job that my clipper and shoe re do the whole new break job. They charged average price. They did fine job that I don't hear screeching nose from break any more. Next day, I brought another car for shock and absorber changed. Also they did fine job and charged decent amount of money. I was little posses that I f I und out the part was half price than they charged. But what do you go8ng to do l. They still have to make money from here and there. If they do decent job then I think it's alright. I'll definitely bring it back, if my car need to fix but I will shop around the price more. Still it's cheaper than right acrossed quick check auto garage called alliance? Or something. They charged slightly more money for same job. And this place is pretty quick and kept the timing twice for me. I mean they did finished faster then they promised. This will be my bitch garage for now on. I have been getting my car repaired at QAC, Kendall Park for some time but last few repairs have been have been very shabby and bad job. It started with replacement of Wind shield washer pump, easy job, but they have to open some parts at the bottom of car and they screwed it up putting it together. It had to be opened up and put back together multiple time which resulted in breaking some other parts and car started making noises. I went again to get noises checked and was told that flex pipe is leaking which is making sound and they could weld it together. But they didn't weld it properly and noise didn't go away. I went again and was told that multiple parts (engine mount, fuel tank heat shield) need to be fixed and flex pipe wasn't weld properly 1st time and has to be welded again. So far, total repair cost approx $1500. Noise stopped after that but Check Engine light came up next day after repair. Now catalytic converter needs to be replaced, cost approx $980. I am wondering what will be next. All these repair are in or around flex pipe and all subsequent problems started coming when they fixed the previous problem. Finally, I made a stupid decision and decided to get catalytic converter replaced by QAC on Sep 3, 2015. It was $706.31 and was told that he saved me over $250 but what he didn't tell me is that he has put a junk catalytic converter, more on it below. Check Engine Light went away after catalytic converter was replaced, but wind shield washer pump won't work when I used it after few days. I checked and there was enough fluid. I called QAC and was told that the mechanic had checked that there wasn't enough fluid which was a outright lie. I told him there is enough fluid, so he asked me to bring the car over. I took the car to him around Oct 9th. He or his mechanic checked the car and told me few things which he couldn't substantiate so I insisted on checking it properly and after checking he told me that his mechanic cut the pipe (by mistake) which brings the fluid from reservoir to wind shield. Although I didn't agree with his assessment because if pipe was cut then fluid level will start dropping when I tried to use it even though fluid won't reach the wind shield, but I didn't argue with him. He asked me to leave the car for repair (without charges) and pick it up later. He called me back at 5:55pm and told me that he has fixed the pump and car is ready. I asked him to send someone to pick me up, he refused. I told him to give me 5-10mins to find a ride to get my car, but he told me that he closes the shop at 6pm and he has an appointment so he can't wait and hung up the phone. He told me later that he has read my review on yelp, and decided to play this trick. I had always told him that he can't keep my car overnight under any circumstances. I had to go out of town for business next day and needed the car so I went to his shop later in the evening. My car was parked outside, so I drove the car using 2nd set of keys. After I came back from business trip about 10 days later, I went to his shop to pickup my keys. He told me let's talk man to man, I told him that I have no interested in talking to him and I just need my keys but he won't give my keys and won't listen. Then he told me, let's go outside, again I repeated that I want my keys and have no interest in talking to him but he was not in a mood to listen. So we went out, he gave me the keys and started yelling at me about my yelp review, he was shouting at me and god knows what he was saying because I was shell shocked because of his outburst. I tried to keep my temper and repeatedly asked him to talk about each repair he has done and what's wrong I have written in my yelp review but there was no stopping him. I couldn't take his yelling/shouting at me any more and shouted the same questions to discuss my review and each issue but I couldn't get him to listen and he continued to yell/shout. Then one of his mechanic came and threatened me to call the police. I told him that he need to stop his boss, I didn't want to talk to start with. But his mechanic was not to be left behind in shouting/threatening me, so I left. Couple of days later, Check Engine light came back again and upon checking, same error code, same problem, bad catalytic converter. I went to him and told him about the light and bad catalytic converter but he wouldn't listen. I also asked him to give me the receipt of work he did for washer pump, but he refused to give me the receipt. Presently, I am working with credit card company to get my payment for catalytic converter back, let's see how it goes. Recently I used washer pump, and it's not working properly, spray only reaches half of wind shield. It looks like, washer pump he put is also junk. This is my experience with QAC, Kendall Park, NJ. SINGLE WOMEN BEWARE OF THIS SHOP!!! I call this shop for an estimate on a water pump replacement and the guy who answered said he would need to physically look at my car to give me a quote, but he guessed $600 or less. However when I got there he told the that my repairs would be at least $600 and refused to look at the car because he doesn't give quotes. I was so upset because I thought I wasted my time going there. I told him that just because I'm a woman does not mean I so stupid to let him fix my car and tell me the costs afterward!
