Really enjoyed going here for Smog service. Vito and Chris know their stuff and the price was resonable. I was having headaches worrying about a car that I thought was borderline and so without charging me, he gave it a pre-test. He told me what had to be fixed in order to pass . So,I go get it fixed at a regular Mechanic's shop, took it back and it passed with flying colors. I've been to other places where they just take your money, let you fail and shrug. It's also helpful when you know what needs to be fixed when walking into the mechanic's shop. As a Senior and on a fixed income with prices going up all the time, this place will get all my business from now on. read more

We have been using Vito for the last 8 years and he's definitely a person who cares about all of his customers. Quality Auto Smog on El Dorado Rd in French Camp is the best place to get your car smogged. And the least expensive. $30 total for cars year 2000 and newer. A little more for older models. They have a discount couple that comes in the mail every Tuesday with the sales papers. The gentleman there Vito is full of very helpful information that can save you a lot of trouble getting your car ready to be smogged. I've never had to wait more than 20 minutes to get my cars done. Vito does all of our cars and not only is fair on the pricing but is very honest. I would suggest to anyone needing a smog to go see Vito. The wait at times can be an issue but when you treat your customers correctly everyone wants to see him so it's not a issue. Vito also will tell you honestly what it will take to pass and he doesn't do the work there so you know that he is giving you an honest answer and correct one at that. I had one vehicle fail smaog at another station. while the gentleman was testing a second vehicle I needed testing I inquired what I could do to get the second to pass. The first review is a riot. If you had your check engine light on, how in the world would you expect it to pass smog? More than likely, the guy reset the light and it came on during the test. Not the shops fault you're trying to pull a fast one! I've been taking my 4 cars here for years. They do both the regular smog and STAR test. Get the pennysavers coupon for $21.75. The state charges 8.25 for the printout of the smog paper. So it's only $30 out the door. They are fast, honest and the cheapest in town. read more

crap dont take your car here at all. the employee daniel is very dishonest i took my car in and it had a check engine light on and after the fact i was told that it is a guarantee fail if your check engine light is on....that little jewel of knowledge would have been greatly appriciated prior to waiting for 20 mins...word to the wise if your engine light is on DONT DO THE SMOG IT WILL FAIL....after it failed i was told to take it to a repair facility i called 4 different locations and all told me that if they know the engine light is on they wouldnt test it cause they know it will fail...DONT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE THIS PLACE F*&^ING SUCKS!!!HEY DANIEL STOP TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF PEOPLE FOR A SERVICE THAT YOU KNOW WILL NOT PASS...i also spoke to the owner who said that if i would have told daniel about the light that he would not have tested it...why would i have to tell him that isnt that his job im not a grease monkey. read more
