I think these guys moved. I used them 6 years ago when I went to une. Always so pleasant, showed me what was wrong with the car and didn't rip me off. And I'd go in with my muffler being held up from dragging on the road with a belt and all sorts of other Macgyver moves...no laughs from them Thrilled to find them on Yelp after thinking they're closed! This place is a total dump, but they rock the party!! I came in here asking for a sticker and an oil change. I come out with a charge of $12.50 for the sticker, oil change was free. That kind of business keeps a customer like me coming back!! It's also catty corner from Scrub-A-Dub and across the street from a Subway, so all your needs are covered!!! This is my third year running going here for this and that. The only problem is that they are real busy (which is a good sign), so you might not get an appointment for a couple days...... read more

Been to quality several times now. The reason I may not return is because I always make appointments for service a week ahead. I do this because I want to ensure my vehicle is looked at that day and fixed that same day. I need my vehicle to go back and forth to work etc. The last appointment I made with them, I did exactly what I described above. Made the appointment for one week ahead. I dropped my vehicle off the night before. Well the following day, it was about 4.00 pm and no call from them with some sort of update or to let me know my vehicle is all set and ready to go. So I call them and I'm told there bringing it in to look at it in 5 minutes and they would call me right back. Seriously! You had this vehicle all day and your just bringing it in at 4.05 pm.????? Needless to say I'm without my vehicle for 2 days for what turns out to be a minor repair. This was the second time this had happened with me personally at this shop. Bottom line here is that if someone makes an appointment they expect their vehicle to be repaired that same day unless of course it turns out to be a major repair and time may be needed for labor time and getting parts to complete the job, that's understandable. It also would have been professional on their part to apologize for the delay with an explanation but I didn't even receive that. Their are too many auto mechanic shops in Biddeford Saco and you cannot continue doing business like this and think you will remain in business as far as I'm concerned. incompetent scam artists!!! I'll try to keep this short and sweet and still relay the whole horrible experience. Dropped my car off for a CV axel, easy. They tell me it's also going to need a rack and pinion (cv is cheap rack and pinion is very expensive) so I say whatever, just do it. So they do both, I get my car back a few days later. Driving to work the next day, the AXEL FALLS OUT and I lose acceleration in the middle of an intersection and almost get in an accident!! They pretend to be very confused as to how it could have happened and tell me it must be a bad part. So I let them fix it again HUGE MISTAKE. now we are 6 days or so into them screwing with my vehicle. I get it back and they assure me it'll be good to go. Driving to work AGAIN and the axel falls out AGAIN!! now I'm late for TWO different days of work (which is a huge deal at my job, I almost got fired because of this) The owner calls me as I'm sitting on the side of the high way and I tell him this is crazy and I want a refund. He starts getting into a screaming match telling me I'm being unreasonable and that he shouldn't have to refund it. He even hangs up on me, while (what sounds like, slamming his phone off a car seat or wall or something, repeatedly... just incredibly unprofessional) Eventually he agrees to refund just the CV work. That didn't happen either because I (very stupidly) let them take it a third time (I couldn't afford to pay another garage to fix what these scammers screwed up) so they take my car again and now all of a sudden it needs a whole new transfer case. (this is a car with less than 80k on it) So again, no choice, I tell them to fix it. That was $700 but DONT WORRY that refund he was gonna give me? for a charge of $240+ dollars? It turned into a "credit" for this "new work" they had to have done. (AND THE CREDIT WASN'T EVEN FOR THE FULL AMOUT OF THE ORIGINAL WORK) so I got my transfer case replaced for $500 WOW. This place is awful!!! when I went to pick up my car I could hear their fat owner (who by the way has the temperament of a 6 year old) talking crap about me because he didn't realize I was in the main office. Said that "I was gonna see just how they'd fix my car" etc etc. Just an awful place. DO NOT GO. $1200 total and two weeks to get my car (that DROVE JUST FINE WHEN I BROUGHT IT IN, just had a slight knock) to even be able to be driven again. They suck!! best case scenario they're incredible incompetent and worst case is they're vicious crooks. You've been warned. Also the whole place is owned and operated by one family, dad does the work, brother yells and screams, and sister runs the office (she's actually kind of nice) but there's zero checks and balances, they do shotty work because there's no one to tell them otherwise. This has been the worst experience I have had at any business ever. I took my car here to get coils replaced. Should have been simple. They originally told me they could not honor my appt as the mechanic was sick but promised he would be in the next day. I heard this for three days straight (couldn't find any availability anywhere else). They finally replaced the coils. I drove to work and the lights came back on the same day and it started shifting hard again. I called them, they said bring it right in. They called the next day and said that he was sick and couldn't look at it. And now I'm stuck because I already paid them to fix it. I hear the 'can't because he is sick' for another two days. They replaced the same coils and told me the ones they first put in were defective. I drove to work, the lights came back on. Brought it back. Another three days of 'we promise we will get to it'. They told me that it would likely need a new fuel injector but did not want to replace this because 'it's too expensive and we can't afford it'. They put fuel injector cleaner in and said the 'lights when off, should be fine'. They told me that if the same problem happened again, they would fix it free of charge. About a six weeks later, the same lights come on. I call them, they said bring it on in. They then said they would charge me. I asked them to honor their word. They said they would get back to me. The next day I called 8 times throughout the day to try to get in touch with someone. They did agree to fix it free of charge. But replaced a spark plug and said 'the lights turned off, it's fine'. You guessed it, I drove to work and the lights came back on. But much worse this time. The car is shaking, the check engine light is blinking. I had to have it towed back to them. They did not call me at all, despite multiple messages. They finally said they would replace the fuel injector but could not get the part until five days later. He said he fixed it enough to drive for those few days. I went to pick it up and it didn't make it out of the parking lot before the check engine light started blinking again. I waited another three days for them to fix it. They did not call me and I had to call multiple times to figure out what was up with my car. Eventually told me it was fixed, they replaced the fuel injector. I picked it up, drove home, and the check engine light started blinking and the car started shaking. It was much worse than it ever has been. I had to have it towed a second time, to a new mechanic and will have to pay hundreds of dollars due to their incompetence. read more

Simply horrible. Not only was the staff (primarily the receptionist) very rude, but my car was several hours late; in fact they didn't start work until almost 3 hours after I dropped off the vehicle. When I complained, my concerns were met with contemptuous rebuttals about their service. The estimate I had requested days before had not even been worked on, and the 'ballpark estimate' was by no means a reasonanle figure. There are many aspects of my experience with Quality that were negative, but the single worst part was the receptionist's combative attitude and horrible customer service. Instead of working through a problem (which was entirely the company's fault), she became defensive, vulgar, and very quickly escalated the situation. I would steer clear of this place if I were you. I also question the review below mine. It sounds 'too good to be true' and I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone from the company trying to improve their image. Finally, when I originally checked reviews on this place, there were several 1 and 2 star reviews listed. It seems that negative reviews are disappearing...something to keep in mind. read more

In this type of business it is a service industry and the woman who is at the front desk does not help Quality Auto in any way. She is so rude and I have never had anyone talk to me the way she did. I truly can't believe she still has a job with them. Horrible!!!! Made an appointment for 10 two days before hand and had to wait 4 hours for an inspection to be done! Did not get a call to say that they were running behind or anything. I actually had to go back to check on my car....when I did I had to wait 30 more minutes for my car. When they finally got done I was told they were running behind but that I also never made an appointment and that's why it took so long because it was considered a drop off. After I told the woman who sits at the front desk that I did make an appointment and it was even in the calendar she had sitting there she still insisted that I did not make an appointment. After all that she did not even have an estimate to give me she told me I would have to wait for it until the next day! I asked her if she had anything to say regarding what I thought was poor customer service and she said she had nothing to say and that she wasn't going to argue with me. I just looked at her completely shocked and started to walk out the door and she added "it looks like you're doing most of the work yourself so I would keep doing that." I couldn't believe her and her attitude was completely unprofessional and rude! Biggest waste of time and the staff is truly the worst! I recently took my truck there to have check engine light problem diagnosed. After receiving call stating that they had figured out what was wrong with my vehicle, I ok'd them to do the repairs. They told me it was a common Ford problem and would be done on a few hours. I went in paid my $200 bill and took my truck home only to find it ran as crappy as when I brought it in!! I immediately returned and told them that they failed to correct the problem and all I got in response was a shrug of shoulders..........oops!! No offer to fix the 'real' problem free or anything!! Horrible service I brought my car there several times to be told all the wrong these needed to be fixed after several weeks without my vehicle and to be told I neede a new computer system. I brought it to the dealer to be told I need a engine wire harness and a motor nothing to do with the computer. I bring it back to them for a simple sticker what do I get my passenger window doesn't work so no sticker. I fixed the window bring it back after she told me you do what you need to to get the window working and we can put a sticker on. Straight lied to my face and said they still cannot put a sticker on because they need to pull my door apart and inspect the window. I will be bringing my vehicle else where. Gave them multiple chances to make it right. We have used them for years since they were located where HeroMotors is in Biddeford but they've gone down down hill since they have expanded. Worst place I've ever been. The place is outdated the couches are from the 60's that are very uncomfortable. The desk lady had a lot of attitude from the start.
